Chapter 368 - Chapter 368

As Goku's ki continued to rise, Ginyu's mouth opened wider and wider, and his pupils began to shrink. The scouter displayed that Goku's battle power had already reached 110,000—and it was still climbing.

Seeing that number, Jeice was so scared his whole body started trembling. He'd heard before that Captain Ginyu's battle power was only around 120,000. Could this guy be even stronger than Captain Ginyu!?

Creed curled his lips into a faint smile. Before coming to Namek, Goku's battle power had been about the same as Vegeta's. But during the half month on the spaceship, Goku had trained day and night in the gravity chamber—pushing himself to the brink of death every time, then using senzu beans to restore his stamina. That was the terrifying part of Saiyans, the battle race.

As Goku's numbers kept rising, even Ginyu's hands began to shake. At this point, his own battle power had reached 140,000. Like he'd given up in despair, he dove headfirst into the lake below and shouted, "In the entire universe the strongest person should be me!"

To stop Goku from increasing his battle power any further, he shot out of the water and began hurling red energy spheres at him nonstop. But a faint red glow rose around Goku's body, and the moment those spheres touched that glow, they turned to ash.

"180,000…"

When the scouter finally showed Goku's ultimate battle power, Ginyu's face was drenched in cold sweat, his lips trembling. "I can't believe it… Is this really your true strength? How can a Saiyan be this strong?"

Inside the red light, Goku said slowly, "This is nothing. The power I release in the instant of combat is far stronger than this."

Meanwhile…

Nail returned to the Grand Elder's residence. Seeing him come back, the Grand Elder scolded him a little. "Why did you return? Didn't I tell you to go help those Earthlings?"

Nail dropped to one knee and lowered his head. "I know this is wrong, but I believe protecting Grand Elder is more important. If Grand Elder dies, the Dragon Balls will disappear as well. When that happens, those Earthlings' wish won't be able to be granted."

The Grand Elder sighed. "Fine…"

Nail stood up and turned to Dende. "The enemy has found us. And he's already very close."

The Grand Elder placed his hand on Dende's head. In an instant, he boosted Dende's power. Just as Dende was feeling shocked, the Grand Elder smiled and said, "Dende, go find them. Those Earthlings need your power. I've already awakened your potential—you should be able to find them soon."

Dende wanted to stay and protect the Grand Elder, but he couldn't refuse. After Dende left, the Grand Elder closed his eyes and said softly, "I wonder whether I'll be killed… or die of old age."

Nail lowered his gaze and said nothing.

Not long after Dende left, Frieza arrived.

Feeling the evil aura from outside, Nail walked out of the house and looked at a warrior with blood-red pupils—someone he'd never seen before. He asked slowly, "What do you want?"

Frieza folded his arms, speaking in a relaxed tone. "I'm Frieza. I'm here to use the Dragon Balls to make a certain wish. I've already placed the seven Dragon Balls I found together, but strangely, the wish still can't be granted. So I came here hoping you can tell me what I need to do to make my wish come true."

Nail replied without hesitation, "I advise you to leave. I can't tell someone with an evil heart like yours."

Frieza lowered his head and smiled. His tail lightly tapped the ground, and the air instantly filled with killing intent. Just as he was about to check Nail's battle power with his scouter, three more similar auras appeared not far away. He turned his head toward where he came from and saw three young Namekians flying over. He said, "So you've got companions too. What a pity their battle power is laughably low—no wonder my scouter never detected them."

As he finished speaking, the three Namekians landed on the ground and surrounded Frieza.

"Stop!"

Nail shouted, "Leave now! This person isn't someone you can fight!"

Even so, they had no intention of backing down. One of them said, "Even if I can't win, I can still break one of his arms. Don't forget, we're Warriors just like you!"

"Warriors?" Frieza activated his scouter and saw all three of them were above 10,000. To him, that was nothing—but on this planet, it really was rare.

They knew how strong Frieza was, yet none of them retreated. All three released red auras and charged from three different angles. They thought they'd at least cripple him…

But something unbelievable happened.

Frieza stood there without moving even a single finger. With nothing but his aura, he blasted all three of them away.

Caught in the storm, the three couldn't stabilize their ki. Frieza lightly blew out a breath, and a red laser shot upward. In the next instant, a violent explosion erupted inside the storm. All three were blasted more than a hundred meters away, slamming into the hillside and losing all strength.

Even Nail hadn't expected Frieza to possess such terrifying power.

Frieza flashed in front of the taller warrior, grabbed him by the throat with one hand, and lifted him up. He said slowly, "I'll ask you one more time—do you know the method to make a wish with the Dragon Balls?"

Even as he was close to suffocating, he didn't say a single word—only shook his head desperately.

Frieza said softly, "I should've known. Trash like you couldn't possibly know. Asking you was my mistake."

Then he released him. As the warrior fell, a red laser fired from Frieza's fingertip, piercing straight through his body.

Frieza returned to the ground and looked at Nail. "I think it'll be better for you if you obediently tell me. Aren't there two of you? I only need to get the answer out of one of you."

Nail's eyes were furious. "If you want to kill us, then kill us. But before we fight, I'll warn you of one thing: the other person inside that house is our Namek's Grand Elder. The seven Dragon Balls were made by Grand Elder. Listen carefully, and carve this into your brain—if you kill Grand Elder, the seven Dragon Balls will disappear too."

Hearing that, Frieza was slightly surprised. He hadn't expected the situation to be like this at all.

He removed his scouter. Red light shot from his eyes, blasting apart the second-floor window. He rose into the air and saw the Grand Elder lying back in a chair, eyes closed…
