At the center of the town, Creed had no idea that by defeating Crocodile, he had shaken the entire sea.
Nor did he know that because of this, the entire world was now condemning the Navy.
It was evening.
The sky was dyed red with clouds, the setting sun half-sinking below the horizon, painting the sea in crimson light.
After three days of travel—
Creed, Ain, and Falkor finally walked out of the desert. Before their eyes appeared a small town by the sea, where many ships could be seen anchored at the distant port.
Seeing the town, Creed let out a long breath of relief. Finally, they were out. This desert was truly endless.
"Hey, that… that's—!"
As they entered the town, the eyes of the people widened, as if they had seen something terrifying.
Then, all eyes turned toward Creed, filled with shock.
Huh? What's going on?
"You… you're Navy Rear Admiral Monkey D. Creed, right?" someone asked cautiously.
"I am."
At once, the sound of throats gulping could be heard.
Creed didn't understand at first, but then his gaze fell on a newspaper vendor nearby. He bought one and read carefully—soon realizing the truth.
So his battle with Crocodile had already spread everywhere. And his identity as Garp's grandson… was exposed.
The news had been broadcast widely, known by all.
Creed raised an eyebrow as he read. He hadn't expected defeating Crocodile would stir up so much trouble.
Later that evening—
He and Ain checked into an inn in the town. They took a refreshing bath and enjoyed a hearty meal after the long, exhausting journey.
Night fell. The past days of travel had been harsh, and with nothing much to do in the quiet town, they both returned to their rooms early to rest.
Back in his room—
Creed finally opened up the system again, and discovered that it had undergone a major change.
In the corner of the interface, a new line of text appeared:
[Host has successfully unlocked the conditions for extracting SSS-level abilities. Attribute panel has been upgraded.]
"An upgrade to the attribute panel?"
Creed blinked, then opened his status screen.
[Abilities]: SS+ Swordsmanship, SS Armament Haki, SS Observation Haki, SS+ Conqueror's Haki, SS Physical Skills...
[Standby Abilities]: S-level Medical Arts, S-level Wilderness Survival
[Devil Fruit Ability]: S-level Ope Ope no Mi (Operation Fruit)
[Talent Abilities]: None
Creed raised an eyebrow. As expected, the panel had become much more detailed.
Now his stats were more clearly divided—not only listing abilities, but also breaking down strength, agility, defense, and spirit. It gave him a far clearer picture of his true power.
Looking at his attributes, only agility and spirit reached SS. Strength and defense were S+.
That made sense. After all, he was only 15. His body still had its limits, so his strength and defense were a bit lower. His spirit was boosted to SS mainly because of Conqueror's Haki.
Next, Creed's gaze turned to the system interface—where two treasure chests hovered in 3D, glowing faintly.
This was the real prize.
One chest gleamed with a purple glow. The other shimmered with dazzling red, yellow, and blue light.
"Open the purple treasure chest."

The purple chest burst with light, the system's prompt echoing in his mind:

[Ding! Congratulations, Host has obtained: S-rank Beast Ability Enhancement Card!]
Creed's eyes lit up with joy.
[Purple Ability Enhancement Card]: Instantly raises any S-level ability to SSS-level.
[S-rank Beast Ability Enhancement Card]: Allows extraction of a non-human ability (such as from beasts/creatures) and raises it to S-rank.
Creed's pulse quickened.
The purple card was already impressive—but the beast card…
He had once considered extracting animal abilities. For example, ants could lift 100 times their own weight. But extracting from an ant only gave him an extra gram of strength—useless.
Now, with this card, those limits were gone.
If he extracted an ant's power and applied the Beast Enhancement Card, his strength could multiply into S-rank levels of power.
He clenched his fist. This was a game-changer.
And now… the real prize remained.
His gaze shifted to the second chest—radiating three-colored light.
[Tri-Color Mysterious Treasure Chest]: Can only be obtained through special conditions. Contains skills or items of SSS-level, from this world—or even from beyond this world.
Creed's eyes widened. From beyond this world?
So it could grant powers not even from the world of One Piece…?
He licked his lips, heart pounding.
This was going to be interesting.
