After recommending Samiu to the Director, Anya assigned her one of the more important roles. The Director looked at Samiu's cool and striking demeanor and nodded in agreement. Before she even fully understood what was happening, Samiu was taken away by the Director.
Returning once again to the back hall, Anya solemnly said to Mikoto, "I want to formally introduce someone to you."
Mikoto was taken aback at first, but then seemed to understand something and nodded. "Okay, I'd like to meet whoever it is that deserves such importance from you."
"Haku, come out," Anya called toward a shadowed area.
From the shadows, Haku gracefully stepped forward wearing a long light-blue dress. A slight blush adorned his flawless face. His head was slightly lowered, giving off a vibe of pure innocence. He knew very well that this woman before him was practically one of only two remaining family members for Anya. After all, this was like meeting the family for the first time — no wonder Haku's heart was racing.
"She's so beautiful," Mikoto blurted out. She stepped forward and took Haku's hand. "You two are together, right?"
Haku gently nodded. "Yes."
"I never even knew that someone as beautiful as you existed by Anya's side. What good fortune for him. You're called Haku — and it really suits you. You're the purest person I've ever seen." Mikoto's eyes brimmed with appreciation, and from her gaze, she could tell Haku's personality must be as gentle as water itself.
"Thank you," Haku hadn't expected Mikoto to accept him so quickly and felt a bit overwhelmed by the attention.
Anya wasn't surprised by this scene. In a way, the personalities of these two were quite similar, so it was natural they would get along well.
"Miss Mikoto," she said, "from now on, Haku will be living here. Please prepare a room for him. I have to go out for a bit."
Mikoto nodded. "Alright, go ahead. I'll take good care of Haku."
Quietly sneaking into the Hokage's office, Anya immediately noticed that Tsunade had fallen asleep on her desk. Even in her sleep, her brows remained tightly furrowed, indicating a clearly troubled mood.
Unwilling to disturb her, Anya's hand emitted a green glow of Sage Chakra. She gently stroked her head, and as the warm chakra seeped into her body, her furrowed brows naturally relaxed. Her whole body relaxed, sinking into a deeper sleep.
Shizune, hearing some movement, walked in carrying a small pig. Her face lit up with joy as she saw the scene. Just as she was about to speak, she saw Anya raise a finger to her lips, signaling for silence. Understanding immediately, she quietly left the room, closing the door gently behind her and becoming a guard outside.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, Tsunade finally awoke from her deep nap. It had been a long time since she had enjoyed such a peaceful sleep. What had happened today to make her feel this way?
The moment she opened her eyes, a familiar face came into view, watching her with a gentle smile.
Tsunade blinked, quickly sitting up and saying with mock irritation, "So you still remember you have to come back? You went on a mission and just left your students behind. If it weren't for Hakuto speaking up for you, I would've already declared you a rogue ninja."
It was clear from the way Tsunade spoke that she carried deep resentment. Considering her restless sleep just now, Anya had a rough idea that something must have happened in Konoha during her absence.
"What's wrong? You're troubled, right? Tell me."
Tsunade hesitated, then finally shook her head and said, "Nothing serious. Your family affairs are probably more complicated. Why don't you hurry up and deal with them?"
Anya gave a faint smile and said, "I've already taken care of it."
"That fast?" Tsunade didn't seem convinced.

After hesitating momentarily, Tsunade still spoke out: "Promise me you won't get angry first."
Anya readily agreed, "Fine, I promise."
Tsunade told Anya everything about the secret deal between Konoha's leadership and Kumogakure, originally believing that Anya would certainly fly into a rage.
Unexpectedly, he simply chuckled lightly, "Such a minor issue. Is this really worth troubling yourself over?"
Tsunade wouldn't accept this, angrily saying, "Minor matter? Obviously the Hidden Cloud is after the Uchiha Clan's bloodline. Don't you care at all? Or perhaps you've already met that Kumo ninja and taken a liking to her?"
"Where did you get that idea," Anya responded with displeasure, patting Tsunade's butt.
"I just understand them well," he continued. "The leadership of both Konoha and Kumogakure are nothing but politicians. People like them always have dirty hearts. It's no surprise they reached such an agreement. It's not even worth my anger."
Still doubtful, Tsunade asked, "Really?"
Anya made an analogy, "Would you get angry at ants crawling on the ground?"
"Ants?" Tsunade didn't understand what Anya meant.
"Yes," Anya replied. "In my eyes, they're just a bunch of insignificant insects—like ants crawling on the ground."

Tsunade's face flushed with anger as her deepest insecurity was exposed. Just as she was about to lash out, Anya continued, "From today on, I'll make you young again — for real this time."
