in this chapter we will see what happens to Elisa and who between her with Magza and Mercury with Magno will win. We will see her new potential with the bracelet and the blade she got. in the meantime, Sam is trying to find a way into Mercury's base. What will happen? We can only read and find out.
Elisa entered Mercury's base, she looked around and walked through a hallway. it was full of stolen Seishins, ranging from white to orange, but no higher rank than that. Now preparing for battle, she Reactivated her red Seishin's battle form
Elisa: "he could be anywhere near… don't let your guard down Maggie"
Maggie: "right back at ya girl!"
they stumbled upon an entrance to the left, where she peeped into the room. In it was Mercury, asleep in his chair.
Maggie: "there he is! we can kill him while he's asleep!"
Elisa sneaked into the room as to not wake him. Then, with a swift thrust of her sword, she impaled his chest.
Elisa: "we did it!"
but then Mercury's body vanished in a grey smoke
Mercury: "you've got a lot of nerve for a girl with a mere red Seishin~"
Elisa heard Mercury's voice behind her. When she turned around, Magno impaled her stomach with a large spirit nail
Mercury: "all this effort.. to try and assassinate an Akki wielder?~ don't make me fucking laugh~ you couldn't even defend yourself against one measly attack from Magno… you tried approaching me and failed… your boyfriend must be.. so… disappointed in you..!"
Elisa: "don't… cough you dare.. badmouth Sam…"
Mercury: "or what..? you'll kill me?~ do you even realize what disadvantage you are in right now… even your stupid boyfriend Sam wouldn't have been able to predict this~"
Elisa: "you know, i'll repeat myself.. cause clearly you didn't hear me right…"
at that moment, two vertical black stripes appear over her red armor, her head growing one red and one black horn. Then, she wrapped her hands around the nail impaling her
Elisa: "don't… badmouth… SAM!!"
she broke it off and charged at Mercury, delivering a powerful punch to his face, hitting him in the nose
Mercury: "ow! that hurts you know?! i'm a person too"
Elisa: "you deserve it, idiot"
Mercury: "haha! just kidding! i feel no pain anymore since Magno covered all those little pain sensor.. thingies in my body"
his nose instantly reshapes to its normal form
Elisa: "it's called a cortex…"
Mercury: "shut up nerd! i know that!"
Elisa drew her sword again while Mercury draws a new nail. the two start fighting vigorously
Elisa: "it looks like you're stepping backwards~ are you sure you don't just wanna admit defeat?~"
Mercury: "no~ cause now i've got you right where i want ya!~"
Elisa was tazed by a device, then fell to the ground
Mercury: "you regenerate, don't you..? i guess i can't kill you… but torture is a fine second best~"
Sam: "you better not!"
Mercury looks behind him, seeing Sam, a little bit exhausted
Mercury: "and how the hell did you get here?"
Sam: "good question!"
flashback to how Sam used Zero to dash forth and forth, using Eryndor's radar
Sam: "using Eryndor's Seishin radar, i was able to locate your base~ no wonder you use portals.. it's miles away!"
end of flashback
Sam: "and mostly, it's probably because you don't want to be followed"
Sam looks at Elisa
Sam: "you did a good job babe~ i'll take it from here~"
Sam charges at Mercury. And while Mercury dodges, Sam saw it coming and jumps onto the wall
Sam: "Zero! Magneto!"
Sam's feet magnetize to the wall, running over the ceiling and surprising Mercury as he turns around and kicks him again, this time successfully. Then Sam takes Elisa's hand and helps her get up
Sam: "come, let's dip"
Elisa: "before we do that…"
Elisa runs to the hallway, to where the Seishins are held locked up, then pressed the big red button on one of the walls. Suddenly, all the cages open
Elisa: "go forth kindred spirits! return to your masters!"
all the Seishins disappear through the roof
Mercury: "no! what the fuck?! do you have any idea how much effort it took me to take those?!"
Elisa: "alright, now let's go
Sam and Elisa reopen the portal with a device laying there and make their way back to Eryndor's place
Mercury: "what the fuck is wrong with youuuuuu?!"
Magno calmed Mercury down
Magno: "take it easy master… our plan is still not complete… i hired some friends and informed them about our little.. situation~"
the bounty hunters enter the base
Bounty hunter 2: "and so.. you're telling me he did have that black Seishin with him? that dirty fucking liar! we'll get him for this…
one of the bounty hunters gets down on one knee in front of Mercury
Bounty hunter 1: "it's an honor to work for a high power such as you… what do you wish from us?"
Mercury's anger shifted to a manical laugh
Mercury: "my wish?~ bring me the kid's Seishin~ he will make for a great modifier to Magno~ go! do not waste a second more!"
back at Sam and Elisa
Sam: "Elisa, that was very dangerous, you could've gotten seriously hurt!"
Elisa: "that may be… but while Mercury was attacking me i managed to sneak some of his plan transcripts into my pockets!"
She pulls out papers that explain what Mercury is planning, revealing his secrets
Sam: "Elisa… this is great! now we can predict his next move!"
Elisa smiles proudly, enjoying the praise
Sam: "he's planning to attack two villages constantly one after the other and vice versa… if we can hire some of our classmates or other magic users we know to protect those villages that would make progressing a lot easier… i see why he's doing this, he definitely just wants to keep us busy!"
Elisa grins
Elisa: "don't worry Sam~ i have connections~"
later at school, Elisa goes to a different classroom, where girls are that she befriended before she became stronger
Elisa: "girls, me and Sam need your help… two villages keep getting attacked one after the other.. if it keeps going like that we'll be unable to progress in our mission.."
the girls looked at eachother, the back at Elisa
Friend 1: "sure! but if you don't mind us asking.. what is your mission?"
Friend 2: "if we know, we might be able to help better!"
Elisa: "Mercury, who's well known for being a bully to the weak, wants to become the strongest magic user by using an Akki!"
Friend 1: "whoa whoa.. let me stop you right there… an Akki? do you know how insanely powerful those beasts of spirits are? we can't help in a mission like that!"
Elisa: "i know! but Sam's father is a scientist, he could give you guys amplifications that will make battling Mercury's minions easier!"
the girls look at each other again, then nod, before looking back at Elisa
Friend 2: "where is he?
later at Eryndor's house
Eryndor: "so… you kids need amplifying tech as well? i'm not sure if i still have enough materials.. but i'll see what i can do…"
as Eryndor leaves to his lab, Elisa's friends encourage her
Friend 2: "once we've got those amplifications, we're gonna waste no time to defend the villages!"
Friend 1: "we both have a red Seishin, just like you! so once we're geared up, we're ready to go and help!"
later at Sam's place, Sam and Elisa discuss a new plan to attack Mercury more precisely and precalculated
Sam: "okay… Mercury has an Akki, we have a black and a red Seishin… how can we defeat him?"
Elisa thinks for a bit
Elisa: "well… his base is somewhere pretty far away from here and can most conveniently only be accessed with portal… but we have no tools to create one quickly.. so my idea is to create a permanent wormhole to a part of his base where there's no security…"
Sam: "great idea! but how do we-"
Sam's phone went off, it was Eryndor. without hesitation Sam picked up and heard Eryndor slightly panicked
Eryndor: "you need to run!"
Sam looks out his window and sees the same bounty hunters from earlier aiming a tranquilizer gun at him
Sam: "Elisa, quick!"
they run away, just barely dodging the dart that was shot
Sam: "how did they find me?! i thought i had tricked them!"
Elisa: "wait, Sam! something's not right… bounty hunters usually don't have a Seishin…"
Elisa goes to take a look outside through the window while the hunters are distracted by planning their next move
Elisa: "mag, use infraSS"
Elisa sees that they all are equipped with Akki energy, but without actual Akkis present
Elisa: "Sam, i think Mercury hired them!"
Sam: "then i know enough… let's get out of here!"
they leave through the front door and dash away, soonly being followed by the hunters
Bounty hunter 1: " hunter 3, do you have your eyes on the target?"
Bounty hunter 3: "sure do! tell me when to fire!"
Sam and Elisa keep running as the pursuit continues
Elisa: "they're following us!"
Sam: "there's no time to waste then!"
the both pull the ring attached to their bracelet
Elisa: "Spirit Overdrive! Seishin Maggie!"
Sam: "Spirit Overdrive! Seishin Zero!"
they unsheathe their blades, ready to fight while on the run
Bounty hunter 1: "steady your aim… fire!"
hunter 3 fires the dart, but Sam swiftly dodges
Sam: "is that all you got idiots?! a damn tranquilizing gun?!~"
Sam prepares his blade
Sam: "i've been practicing this new move i read about in one of Eryndor's library books lately~"
Sam stops running and lifts the sword
Sam: "to defy physics with magic and the blade, i cast a dashing slash: Heat Slicer!"
Sam swung the blade and launched a heat seeking flying slash at one of the hunters, blowing him backwards
Bounty hunter 3: "ow! damn you little…! go on you two! he's getting away! i'll catch up!"
the other two bounty hunters continue their pursuit
Sam: "nice! i downed the one with the dart gun!"
Elisa: "probably not for long but that should buy us some time"
they run into a train track, just before they can cross, a train is passing, the hunters finally having cornered them all at the same
Elisa: "dead end!"
Sam: "think again!"
Sam grabs Elisa and jumps onto the train
Bounty hunter 2: "well what are you waiting for?! jump on!"
right when hunter 3 arrives, they all jump onto the last end of the train's roof
Sam: "did we shake them off?"
Elisa: "you wish! look behind you!"
the bounty hunters slowly walk in closer to Sam and Elisa
Bounty hunter 1: "hunter 3, aim your rifle."
hunter 3 aims and fires, getting pretty close to Sam, until the train takes a small turn, making the dart change its intended trajectory
Bounty hunter 3: "oh don't look at me like that! the train keeps moving you know?!"
Bounty hunter 2: "can we get this over with? i could really go for a nap right now…"
Bounty hunter 1: "hunter 3, the train is now moving straight, fire."
hunter 3 takes his rifle and shoots once he's close enough, but Sam smirked
Sam: "a wish for a nap huh? i may not be a genie…"
Sam deflects the dart with his sword
Sam: "but your wish is granted!~"
the dart punctures hunter 2 in the middle of his chest
Bounty hunter 2: "ow! not like that! you little.. i'm… hungry mommy… can i have pancakes…?"
hunter 2 drifts off to sleep
Bounty hunter 1: "great. fucking great. now we have a man down… we can't keep a pursuit like this! forget it.. we'll get you next time!"
the bounty hunters jump off the roof of the train, leaving Sam and Elisa surviving another day
Sam: " we did it! we beat them! for now at least…"
Elisa: "Sam get down!"
Elisa pulls Sam down onto the train, right in time before they pass through a tunnel
Sam: "thanks Elisa… i don't know what i'd do without you…"
over at the bounty hunters… hunter 1 and 3 are carrying hunter 2
Bounty hunter 3: "damn it… i didn't expect him to deflect my dart like that…"
Bounty hunter 1: "it wasn't your fault hunter 3… although he is indeed really slick for a 16 years old boy… we need to be more careful next time…
