Finally, the carriage arrived at my pack, heading straight for the palace.
The ride had been nothing but uncomfortable.
I was eagerly looking forward to seeing Larissa in the palace but my biggest fear was that she might have run away…
I was here to understand why she had refused me in the first place.
It is clear that our connection is beyond sexual, but why is she choosing to stay away from me?
Any woman in the pack would kill to be in her shoes but she chooses to run away from it…
Maybe that is why I'm fascinated by her.
No woman has ever denied me…
The thought of her giving me a hard time got me excited. I wanted to see what it would mean to actually get a woman to love me.
To want me more than her life..
"Alpha, is everything all right?" Peter asked, surely out of curiosity..
"There's nothing to worry about. I am looking forward to getting out of this carriage"
