"How could you let him see you?!" Kent snapped at me in anger.
I sat there in t
he living area, not daring to move an inch from where I sat.
Not only was I worried about the boys, I was scared for their safety…
"I didn't know he would show up here, Kent. You should be the one to tell me why another Alpha would pay yours a visit!"
Kent is the only one aware of my children and for all the time I have known him, he's been nothing but a great friend, keeping my secret.
"Alpha Jade isn't the type to discuss political matters openly. I would have known if that was the case"
I glanced at the boys' room. They were sound asleep.
"What did he say? " Kent asked.
"He... he said he would be back," I said.
I wonder what the boys are up to…
I must have startled them so much that they wanted to stay away from me…
"I yelled at them," I said, feeling terrible for what I did..
