Chapter 95 - CHAPTER 95 (S4)

Initially, It had become less eerie and creepy once they set up three flashlights around the lab room. The smell wasn't entirely unbearable, so they decided for the sake of the damn apocalypse they'd stay and figure it out. Considering how dark it still was in the lab room, it'd be pretty hard to find any solutions they had to mix together to even get started on that.

Whatever the case, most of the group was looking around. The only two who weren't— Axelle and Rexine. They were sitting on a dusty old bench that creaked each time they moved, still reading through it. Why? There were still many contents in it that hadn't been read or even glanced at. The file was thick, which unfortunately only made finding the cure a harder process.

"What??? Seriously?.." Rexine groaned, throwing an arm over her eyes. "Another lot number?" She practically sobbed out.

"What's going on?" Christian asked, glancing from the counter where he almost spilled a skin-toxic substance on himself.

"Watch it, Chris! It could very well burn through your skin." Nicole said, slapping Christian's hand away.

"Tch.." he mumbled, moving away from Nicole like he had personally done something to him.

"Well.. A really 'important' solution or whatever is at this specific lot number. There's no hints at what the place could be or where it is." Axelle explained, eyes glued to the file. She and Rexine had been checking around the room, making sure they had all the solutions they needed to make or even start on the cure. Which clearly, they're missing a few. "It says any solutions or stuff that aren't in this lab are in another. And that's where the lot number is written."

"So.. we have to go there?" Waylen asked. Nicole sighed.

"Yes."

"Yeah..— but first, we have to find the building." Darren replied, sighing. "I didn't bring my laptop or my phone." he sighed.

"The organization's at the house. Why don't we call them?" Eli suggested.

Darren sighed, knowing that was probably the only smart choice. "..Yeah."

"Hey, What's up man?" Damian picked up the phone, face call. He deemed to be playing uno instead of actually looking through the files as they said they would. Darren sighed.

"Hey so.. we kinda need a favour." Darren started, placing the phone in better lighting so they could see the room porperly. And their faces too, obviously.

"Sure..?"

"Could you get my laptop? It's probably on the dining table."

". . . Alright, now what?"

"Type in my birthday.." Darren knew he was getting absolutely called out on for having his birthday as his password, but in reality he'd just been too lazy to change it. Damian snickered, but didnt say anything. Instead, Waylen did.

"Dude, you have your birthday as your—" Darren quickly pushed away Waylen's face from the screen and away from him, successfully shutting him up.

"Uh.. alright. Open chrome and go to history." Darren watched over the phone as Damian did as told. "Yeah, press that website link."

Damian did as Darren asked, in the back Nathan and Emily's voice was heard. "Now what?"

"Okay, entrer the number I repeat to you, okay?" Darren told Damian the lot number, and when he finally pressed search what came up was another lab. Damian pointed the camera towards the photo displayed on the screen, and it happened to be a lab that looked almost identical to the lab they were in.

"Huh.." Darren mumbled. "Can you read out the address and message it to me?" Damian nodded at last. He read it out before he hung up. And a minute later, the text arrived into Dave's phone; since Darren forgot his.

Darren groaned into his hands, peeking through to look at the confused teens around him. "It's a lab," he mumbled as a start. They knew that much. "And it's on the other side of Edmonton." he replied, gaining sighs from around him.

"Do we seriously have to drive around again?" Christian asked, arms crossed, leaning on the wall beside Darren's chair.

"...Well, Technically, no." Rexine cut in, looking around. "We could always make them go. I mean, they're at home right now. From what we clearly saw, they weren't exactly busy." Rexine had a point. Perry nodded approvingly.

"She's right, and it'd save us the trouble of having to go back and forth between labs each second." Perry replied.

And so, they ended up texting Nathan from Christian's phone about the situation. They reluctantly agreed, and had to rush over there at once since they didn't exactly have all the time in the world.

"They want us to drive to the other side of Edmonton?" Millie asked, Crossing her arms, already a bit displeased with how things were going. Well, it was true they weren't really doing anything at the moment.

"Alright, enough fussing around. Everyone in the car." Damian spoke up, already rushing everyone out of the house, into the van instead. And of course he was the one driving, even if he wasn't the most trusted with that job.

And eventually, there was no resisting it. He'd push each and every one of them out seperately if he had to. After all, the group wasn't doing it for them or anyone else specifically, but quite frankly for the entirety of humanity. So, obviously Damian was determined to get everyone moving.

"So where is this lab?" Alice asked as Damian had finally started driving out of the garage.

"It's.. on the other end of Edmonton. The exact opposite side of where Perry's group is. So it'll take a while to get them… Wait— what are we getting them?" Damian cut his sentence off short, realizing Darren.. or anyone, for that matter, hadn't told them what they were getting. Well that's amazing. "Wait, wait! Someone call Darren!" Damian said, though he kept driving. Even though he totally didn't ALMOST swerve off of the road, into a lamppost in his initial panic.

"Ugh, seriously..?" Emily groaned, taking out her phone. She only had Nicole's number, so thats who she called.
