Chapter 51 - Chapter 51 – Village Intelligence Bureau

"Is this...?"

Bishop Zhen naturally noticed Bibidong following Gu Han. The girl was beautiful and lively—without a doubt the most beautiful he had ever seen.

"Grandpa Zhen, this is my senior sister, Bibidong."

"Hello, Grandpa Zhen."

Bibidong greeted politely, showing no arrogance even though her status was far higher.

"Haha, hello, if you don't mind, I can just call you Miss Xiaodong," Zhen smiled warmly.

Bibidong returned the smile softly. "Grandpa Zhen, you're too polite."

"Haha, Xiaohan, Xiaodong, don't stand there—come, sit down and let's chat."

Zhen looked genuinely happy.

Lu Rentao was quietly ignored but didn't complain. He poured tea for everyone and took a seat at the side.

"Xiaohan, I heard you were taken to Martial Soul City by a powerful figure from the Martial Soul Hall, and now you have a senior sister. Which big figure did you become an apprentice to?"

"Well, Grandpa Zhen, I'm lucky to be accepted by a very powerful master."

"Good, then follow your master and study hard."

"That's natural. But Grandpa Zhen, this time I brought something for you and Brother Rentao."

"Oh? What is it?"

Markle raised an eyebrow, intrigued. He set down his teacup.

Gu Han didn't hesitate and took out the improved advanced meditation method he had gotten in Martial Soul City.

Compared to the original, this version was easier to start, simpler to practice, and more effective.

"Grandpa Zhen, this is the advanced meditation method I obtained in Martial Soul City. It's much better than the ones commonly used."

"You and Brother Rentao helped me a lot. This is a gift I specially prepared for you both. I hope you'll accept it."

Looking at the thin book on the table, Zhen and Lu Rentao exchanged hesitant glances.

Finally, Markle spoke, "Xiaohan, advanced meditation methods are for big names. If you give this to us, won't your master be unhappy?"

To be honest, they were moved. Advanced meditation methods were precious, and Zhen's own practice was almost complete—but with this, he might still push further, maybe become a soul king or even a bishop.

Lu Rentao was just a great soul master now, but his cultivation speed was slow compared to geniuses. With this method, he could break past his limits.

If Yu Xiaogang, who wasted resources, could reach such a level, others could only dream of it.

They both wanted to advance but worried about offending Gu Han's master.

Gu Han saw their hesitation and quickly waved his hand.

"Don't worry, Grandpa Zhen, Brother Rentao. This meditation method isn't a secret in the Martial Soul Hall. You can use it for yourself but don't pass it to others."

Bibidong spoke clearly and pleasantly, "Our master also said it's not special. Every big sect has it, and it's not confidential."

"Plus, if we meet someone interested, we can pass it on."

"Exactly. That's my brother's intention. Don't delay it."

With their words, Zhen and Lu Rentao's worries faded, and smiles returned.

"Haha, if it's Xiaohan's goodwill, we won't refuse."

Zhen reached out and took the book.

Gu Han then gave them some high-level medicinal herbs—not fairy herbs, but still helpful for cultivation.

After the formalities, Gu Han said goodbye to Bibidong and left with the chrysanthemum ghosts toward Qinghe Village outside the city.

Qinghe Village's quality of life had improved greatly. Gu Han now only kept enough money for himself each month; the rest he sent home.

At first, Lao Gu wanted to keep all the money, but Gu Han persuaded him to use some for the village—to build roads, water wheels, repair canals, and buy better seeds and tools.

Life in the village gradually grew better. Not as extravagant as aristocrats, but food and clothes were no longer a worry. Compared to nearby villages, Qinghe was better off.

The village was united and developing—an emblem of prosperity.

Other villages envied Qinghe Village for having a soul master leading the way to wealth.

Walking back into the village, Gu Han felt a bit dazed. Bibidong looked around curiously, wondering where her younger brother lived.

Villagers recognized Gu Han instantly. They greeted him enthusiastically, and he waved back.

The old men and women whispered among themselves, especially about the beautiful girl Gu Han had brought with him.

The two chrysanthemum ghosts, skilled and sharp, overheard everything. The ghost chuckled quietly but said nothing. Yueguan, however, teased with a sly smile.

"Did you hear that, Dong'er? You're now Xiaohan's daughter-in-law~"

Gu Han's mouth twitched. Though he liked Bibidong, the two were still too young. He wanted to take things slow.

He didn't respond to Yueguan's words, but the villagers had already made their conclusions.

Indeed, the village intelligence bureau was powerful in any world.

Bibidong blushed and glanced at Gu Han. Seeing his innocent look, she curled her lips.

"Hmph, Uncle Ju, if you say that again, I won't forgive you!"

"Okay, okay! Uncle Ju won't tease you anymore. Don't be angry, alright?"

Yueguan acted humble, secretly enjoying the moment.

Bibidong's eyes sparkled as if she wanted to say more. After a pause, she nodded reluctantly.

"Fine, I forgive you. But if you say it again, I'll really be angry."

She sneaked another glance at Gu Han. When she caught him looking back, she quickly looked away—but then frowned.

"What are you looking at?"

"Cough, cough..." Gu Han coughed awkwardly, looking away quickly. "Nothing, senior sister. Let me take you to see my grandfather."
