Alessia
At the hospital
I left Ethan outside and went inside, I headed to Aunty Gini's room. She was sleeping so peacefully, Mandy was sitting next to her,,,
"Is everything ok? Did you tell Ethan about the pregnancy?" Mandy asked. I shook my head
"I didn't but he is suspicious"
"Pregnant??? Are you pregnant?" I was shocked to be asked by Aunty Gini and I looked at Mandy
"Is she awake? Oh my goodness....I didn't know I thought she was sleeping"
"Alessia are you carrying his c-c-h" I cut her off and lied
"No I'm not, I thought I was pregnant so we did a test and I found out I'm not pregnant" I said that then quickly left the room. If I had mentioned about the pregnancy, she would have fainted again, as I was rushing outside I bumped into David at the door, he looked not angry. I looked at him and asked
"Is everything ok?"
"Alessia, I think I am the one who should ask you the same question! Is everything ok?"
"Well y-yeah everything is ok. What's up with your long face?" I asked him, he held my hand and took me to his car,
"What's wrong David?"
I said but he remained quiet. He looked at me straight into my eyes and whispered
"Alessia, I want to ask you something and you should answer it honestly. Do not lie to me?"
"I already know your question, yes I am pregnant. Can I ask my question too?" I whispered, he nodded
"Yes"
"Well now you know I'm pregnant, do you still love me the same. Do you still feel for me? Will you stay? Will you be there for me through highs and lows?" I asked
"Who is the father of this pregnancy?" He asked. I remained silent
"Alessia I am asking you something who is the father?"
"If I tell you, you won't get mad right?"
"I love you Alessia, I have never loved a woman as much as I love you. So of course yes, I'll get mad but I won't get mad my entire life. So tell me who is the baby's father? Is it for my brother?" He asked
"Yes, the child belongs to Ethan. I don't know what happened and how it happened but it is what it is and I don't know what to do?"
I said feeling so bad
"Close your eyes?" he whispered
"What?" I asked "I said close your eyes"
I closed my eyes slowly, within time I felt the coolness of his lips on mine, he started kissing me, he carried me and placed me ontop of his front car while pressing his lips against mine,
"David you should stop, I think everyone is watching us?"
"Who is everyone? The doctors? The gatemans?... Well in that case, let them watch. Let the world know that you're the woman I'm worshipping"
"What are you thinking about Ethan's pregnancy?" Before he could answer, Ethan came out, it seems like he was sitting or standing somewhere listening to our talks.....
Ethan: Hello dear brother... It's been ages"
Alessia: Ethan what are you doing here again? I told you many times that you should leave me alone?
David: Hello Ethan? What do you want?
David asked with a cold voice, Ethan smiled a bit and said
Ethan: You know what I want brother? I want my baby, and the mother of my child"
David: No, that's where you are wrong. You left her at the wedding, you left her. She's no longer yours"
Ethan: David you have everything in life, father's love, shares, support and now, you're about to snatch the girl I love, we have been together for 5 years now you want her?
Alessia: Look, you don't have to fight guys, I think we should all go back to our homes"
David: By the way, Ethan, weren't you out of the country? When did you come back here in South Africa? What are you really doing back in the country?
Ethan: I was following my wife Alessia, what about you?
David: STOP CALLING HER YOUR WIFE, she is mine now. Do you understand?" David shouted
Ethan: David, I think it is better for you to stay away from her or else I will cut your head off with a knife, You took everything, now you're after the girl I want as well. As long as I'm alive I won't let that happen... And you Alessia" he said while pointing me" I'm leaving but just know this, if anything happens to my baby I'll kill you, I love you so much but please don't hurt my baby. I understand I did mess up but I'm ready to correct my mistakes and you're still mine. You should stay away from David too"
David: And you think it's easy to scare us? Take your threats and go somewhere else" David whispered, Ethan punched David in the stomach, David was about to return it so I went between them and said
"Stop! Please stop this. I don't want you to fight"
David: Ethan what's wrong with you?"
Ethan: You're going to pay for this David, you and your whole family. As long as you still have the girl, just know that peace will be so far away, I'll come back for what's mine. And all three of us know what mine is, The girl and the baby.... And you little pretty girl, if you terminate my child, you'll pay. All I wanted here was peace, you give me my Alessia back, you go to your place and we'll be cool, but you showed me that you don't want peace" said Ethan as he walked to his car. I was left crying. David picked me up
"Are you okay? I'm going to make things right ok. I promise"
(Crying) Now I'm stuck between two billionaires, it seems like, my life is just an endless night, I'll never wake up."
"Shhhh don't cry, I'm right here with you"
"No, I think we should forget each other"
"No Alessia I love you, we can find another way"
"There's no other way. David if you really love me, you should allow me to live in peace. And the only way we can make peace is that I'll give Ethan what's his... He wants me and his baby right? Yeah" I whispered.
"No, Alessia listen to me. Don't be scared by Ethan, I'm here for you. You can't go back to the one who left you on your wedding day babe. Look into my eyes and tell me what you see? You see the truth right? Yeah! I love you so much and I won't abandon you just like he did?"
"Even if you can't abandon me, Ethan will keep on coming back for what's his, and peace will be far away as he said. Why both of you are not understanding, I never wanted this kind of a life, all I ever wanted was peace, happiness and a happily ever after, so as long as you and Ethan are still in my life I'll never be happy, I'll never be able to escape this endless night"
"Can I be your light? So that we'll chase that darkness away together?" He whispered, his words sounded so true even though I was already fed up.
"I need to go" l said while heading back in ghe hospital.. As I walked in I saw the doctors running, Mandy was crying, I got so terrified,
"What happened again?"
"Alessia, my mom was recovering until you talked about your pregnancy. She fainted because she thinks you're pregnant, now she is in a coma again! If my mother dies then you'll be the reason behind her death"
"Mandy I-I,, doctor hi, hello doctor how is she. Please try your best to treat her. This is my fault! I shouldn't have mentioned about the pregnancy"
"Excuse me, I need to go home and pray" Mandy said as she walked outside, I followed her wanted to find her a car that can take her back home but she was about to reach the gate walking by foot
"Ale what's going on?" David asked,
"Mandy is mad at me, Aunty Gini is in a coma David, I-I... I talked about the pregnancy thinking that she was sleeping. Gini has heart attack problems. Can you please drive Mandy home, she must rest and I'll stay here with Aunty Gini"
"Sure, I'll do that but stop crying ok. It shall be well"
