Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 – The Third Day in Goblin’s Grove

Morning arrived in Goblin's Grove—though without sunlight, birdsong, or a clear sky. Just the soft, ever-present gray mist that cloaked the dungeon like a quiet shroud.

I opened my eyes inside the small wooden hut I had built from leftover logs. As I stepped outside, I paused in surprise.

The goblins were already working.

Godon stood in the middle of the field, giving simple gestures and commands. Two goblins were watering the crops with river water from plastic jugs, while three were pulling out weeds. The rest were clearing debris and fallen branches around the field.

"They started without me…?"

I stood there for a moment, silently watching them.

As I walked closer to the field, I noticed something strange. I crouched down to inspect the crops we planted two days ago. My eyes widened.

Small sprouts were already pushing out of the soil—healthy, green, and visibly larger than they should be after just two days.

"They've grown this fast…?"

There was no doubt now—this dungeon was special. Whether it was the mana-rich soil, the isolated environment, or the fact that this was a personal dungeon tied to my awakening... this land was different.

I jotted the observation down in my notebook.

Day 3

Seedlings sprouting faster than normal

Soil warm and moist

No fertilizer used yet

After the morning work, I handed out cheap bread to the goblins. It was nothing fancy—just budget loaves from a corner store, the kind that cost less than a thousand won each.

Still, the goblins devoured them like it was a feast.

"Goblins really don't care about flavor, huh…"

Godon chewed slowly while staring at the misty sky. From time to time, he glanced at me and gave a firm nod.

A quiet thank-you, in his own way.

Later in the afternoon, I sat on a large rock near the fields and began drafting a proper schedule.

Goblin Work Schedule – Version 1.0

07:00–10:00: Watering & weeding

10:00–12:00: Clearing the surrounding area

12:00–13:00: Lunch break

14:00–16:00: Water fetching & light training

Night: Full rest

Yes, I know—writing schedules for goblins sounded ridiculous. But with ten of them under my command now, I needed structure. They weren't mindless, after all. With guidance, they were surprisingly cooperative.

That evening, I sat beside Godon near a small campfire, made from the dry branches we'd gathered during the day.

"I never thought I'd get this far, Godon."

He said nothing, just stared into the flames.

"I used to be a nobody. Just a low-rank porter... always getting scolded and ignored. But now… I have land. A field. A purpose. And I have you guys."

Godon finally looked at me. He didn't speak, but his faint smile said enough.

Before going to bed, I wrote a single sentence at the bottom of the page:

"This is only the beginning… but for the first time, it feels like my life is changing."

And that night, for the first time since becoming a Rank F Hunter…I slept peacefully.
