The anti-mana shield shattered, and everyone's eyes turned to the broken barrier, staring in shock. Who did this? That question filled everyone's heads, but no one knew the answer.
Now monsters started entering the stadium and began attacking everyone. They didn't care about the puppet people around them—they started killing anyone in their path, and a bloodbath began across the stage.
Renn turned his head to Arin, grabbed his shoulder, and shook him. "Snap out of it!"
Arin's body wasn't moving, his eyes still fixed on Adelind. Arin remembered all his past memories of Adelind—how she had protected him many times, helped him with everything, and had survived this incident with him before. But now she was dead on the ground.
Arin looked at Renn with dead eyes. Renn kept shaking him and telling him something, but Arin wasn't hearing him.
"Snap out of it!"
Arin finally heard Renn's voice and looked at him, then punched him in the face. "Don't speak to me, you commoner!"
Arin finally lost it. He looked around and saw everyone killing each other, thinking, If I die, will it change anything? Or will it become much harder? Let's try.
Renn looked at Arin and saw him trying to kill himself with the knife in his hand. Renn thought this might be for the best, though he doubted he would be able to return to this world on Arin next regression.
Arin's knife was about to reach his mana core when Aeren appeared beside him, stopped his hand, and said, "Do you really think you'll be able to regress?"
Arin's eyes widened at Aeren's question. Arin didn't know how, but somehow Aeren knew about his regression. He had forgotten that Aeren had been dead just moments ago.
Renn looked at Aeren with the same shocked reaction as Arin. Aeren stood opposite to both of them and placed his hand on Arin's head.
"How did you know?" Arin asked with trembling lips.
Renn also watched Aeren, shocked by his revelation about Arin, not knowing how he could know. Renn thought, Does he also have a system? But my system said it knew all the systems and they were all under it. Is that system not aware of his system, or does Aeren have some unique skill that can see other skills? Yeah, that's the only way to see others' abilities.
Renn trusted his theory and saw Aeren's hand on Arin's head. Arin's eyes opened wide as he watched Aeren, doing nothing, but Renn's gut feeling told him to stop Aeren. He shouted, "Stop! Don't—"
"The moment I saw you, I knew you were a regressor."
Aeren ripped Arin's head from his shoulders. Silence fell over the stage, and everything stopped. The world felt empty with pin-drop silence all around as everyone froze in place.
Aeren saw this, and slowly and steadily, time started reversing. Aeren watched briefly, then drew his sword and cut the time reversal instantly. Time was severed, and everything went back to normal, though a few milliseconds had gone back—but this didn't change much.
"Stop! Don't kill him!" Renn said, but it was too late as he saw Arin's head in Aeren's hand. Renn couldn't do anything—he hadn't been able to protect Arin. After that, Renn looked around with down face and saw that everyone had stopped.
They were all staring at the sky. So Renn also looked up and saw a massive void that had emerged in the sky. The void started sending all types of species from all over the worlds.
Everyone was shocked by what they saw, stopping their fights with each other to watch the sky. Many types of species were raining down, coming to this world without permission. There were species like humans, beasts, demi-humans, and some that couldn't be understood by people's logic. So they gave up trying to understand them.
The world balance shattered, and all worlds were now linked with each other. Now they could sense others' presence and even enter each other's continents, and war could be seen everywhere.
Aeren saw this and ignored his small mistake, leaving the place and abandoning Renn behind.
Everyone was shocked by what was happening, not even knowing who had done something like this. Queen Hazel looked at the scene with her divine golden eyes, then her gaze went to her children. She saw Arin's severed head and Jacob's body shattered all over the place. She wanted to cry loudly but didn't show her weakness on the battlefield and ignored them.
Renn stood watching the rain of species. Some died instantly upon arrival, while others stood tall, looking left and right.
Lira and Roan stopped their fight and started watching.
All the kings' fights also stopped as they watched the raining species, but they were just observing, not doing anything about them. They didn't want to act recklessly like mindless monsters—they were just watching.
All their minds were asking the same question: Who are they, and are they friends or foes?
And no one knew the real answer to these questions.
King Hamilton looked at King Kendrick and asked telepathically, What should we do?
King Kendrick also wanted to know the answer but didn't know anything. He looked at everyone around and saw the mindless monsters around them, guessing that they would attack anyway.
After that, he said, Let's wait.
The man stood in the sky with others, also watching the rain of species on this world. He saw the red water on the stage where all the new species were landing and saw millions of dead bodies.
Monsters had killed and were eating the humans, still consuming them. The Queen had barely saved 10,000 or more people, but this made him look delighted, though he didn't show it on his face.
Then he was interrupted by Balient. "What is happening here? Is this the work of your main body?"
Balient felt excitement inside his chest as he asked the man. The man could sense his excitement but didn't give him an answer, silently watching the rain.
King Arthur looked at the ground and felt disgust. All the blood had become a waterfall, and monsters were eating the corpses without much reaction. All the students who had come to the stadium were now watching the rain of species.
All students and Roan's members joined together, all of them watching the raining species.
