Chapter 2 - Motion God-seed

A hand could be seen from the shadows, reaching out to a certain box artifact seated on what seems to be an altar.

The box sensed this and responds with a glow and in no time it begins to levitate. Hovering in the air as it slowly approached the hand which was briefly withdrawn as the box drew closer.

"Help me live!" The box cried out.

"Please, help me live!" It added.

The hand is once again seen reaching for the box, only this time it makes contact. The box sensed this and responds with a ping! And then another.

Ping!

Ping!

Ping!

Ping!

The pinging sound persist until the box began to glow more brilliantly, overwhelming the place with an outburst of light.

"Stop!" I yell, waking up from what could only be considered a nightmare, feeling my body, searching for any sign of injury but found none. At that moment, I realized it had only been a dream. I let out a sigh of relief before sweeping my hand through my hair.

"It's just one of those weird dreams I keep having, and every time it felt so god-damn real." I muttered to myself.

"Got me wondering though, could it be some sort of message? Like someone is trying to tell me something through my dreams?" I sat still for a while questioning reality before breaking out from my thoughts.

"Nah, those things only happen in movies." I assured myself, getting down from bed, stretching as I let out a yawn.

I walked over to the clue board on my wall containing several images of my parents and a red thread running across them.

"You just wait, I'll find you, Mom, Dad," I said before walking towards the bathroom to freshen up.

A cargo ship sliced through the choppy waters of the North Aegean Seas, its destination loomed closer on the horizon. Within the vessel, a secure room housed the mysterious box from earlier, tightly sealed and guarded by vigilant military personnel patrolling the area. Suddenly, a faint glow emanates from the box, accompanied by a subtle vibration as electric currents visibly surged through its structure. The mysterious phenomenon persisted until the box unleashed a surge of energy, enveloping itself in a cloak before gradually expanding, spreading its influence throughout the ship.

We are then taken to the ship's control room where we see the ship's captain conferring with a female scientist clad in a standard lab coat. Both are seen scrutinizing a map laid out on a nearby table as they plot out the best possible route to take.

"We need to chart our course carefully Doctor. Any specific considerations for navigating?" The captain inquires.

"Absolutely, the artifact is still being studied. However, we should avoid areas with strong electromagnetic interference." The female scientist tells.

"Understood. What about potential disturbances in the ocean, like storms or tide?" The captain queries.

"Good point. I'll have the cyber team analyze weather patterns and ocean currents to find the safest route. We want to minimize any risk to the artifact." She replies.

"Excellent. With those done the only thing we need to worry about is maritime." He tells her.

"Don't worry about that, I'll coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure our route avoid busy shipping lanes as much as possible." She assures.

"Alright then it's safe to assume we'll have a smooth sailing." The captain informs, but just as he finishes his statement, the ship shuddered violently, halting its progress abruptly.

Several electronic beeps could be heard coming from the control panel, causing the captain to rush over to investigate the case. However, upon arriving at the control board he is left bewildered as all the controls seemed to be fluctuating. In a desperate attempt to resolve the issue he reaches for a lever and without hesitation pulls it to which there was no respond.

"What's going on captain?" The female scientist questions?

"The controls are not responding." He tells her.

Just as they were trying to figure things out, a breathless male scientist burst into the room, urgency etched upon his features as he stops to catch his breath.

"Ma'am There's something you've got to see." He says, staggering in his words, still trying to catch his breath.

"What is it?" She asked, urgency in her voice.

"The artifact." He struggles to say.

"It's better if you come see for yourself." He adds, leading her to the cyber department, where the crew stood transfixed by a live feed.

The screen reveals the source of the ships plight: the box, emitting a potent electromagnetic field draining the vessel's energy.

"Oh my God!" The female scientist manages to utter upon seeing the live feed.

"The artifact seems to be interfering with the ships power supply, draining it. And should it continue at this rate…"

"It's going to blow us up before it can drown us." She replies, finishing his statement.

"Sound the emergency alarm, we need to get everyone off of this ship ASAP. Meanwhile, I'll send in the armed forces to check if they can disable it or something." She commands, walking away from the scene.

A shrill alarm pierced the air. Scientists and soldiers alike scrambled into action, panic flashing across their faces.

the armed force and some scientists hastily made their way towards the vase where the box artifact was held. They struggle but manages to force the door open, but before they could enter, the box releases a power surge of energy that knock back the armed forces and scientist.

"SUITABLE VESSEL LOCATED." The box chants. With a burst of energy, it rockets out of the ship, rupturing through the ship's hull.

Those who had manage to retain consciousness, struggles to stand back on their feet as they rush into the safe room. However, by the time they arrived, the box was far gone. It however left a message behind. Scorched boldly written on the wall of the safe room we see a message written: "Rejoice, for a god is about to be born."
