The scene open up in a living room where an elderly woman is seen seated on the coach, watching the local news when there's a sudden knock on the door.
"I guess it's that time." She said, motioning to the framed family portrait on the wall. On the portrait we see her, Dr Stella, A slightly younger version Aunt Amma (somewhere around her twenties), young Damian and Cleona and other family members. But the notable thing about this family were their distinctive white hair.
Interrupted by the knock once again, she stood to her feet briefly, before walking to attend to the door. The door slide open to reveal Professor Basil and Doctor Stella waiting at the door.
"It's always a pleasure to see you ma'am." Professor Basil said with a warm smile.
"Come in." The old lady replied, stepping side ways and motioning for them to enter.
"I see my grandson isn't here with you." She added as she walked ahead of the couple, walking back to her coach. The couple would follow behind helping themselves to the other settle at the other coach.
"You're looking well mom, so how have you been?" Professor Basil asked, breaking the awkward silent between Stella and her mom.
"Well… What can this old lady say. If you've gotten to live as long as I have, you'd learn there's no true answer to that question but all in all, I've been good. Got Amma and her kid visit once in a while." She replied.
"However, you didn't come here to sympathize with an old lady now, did you? So let's cut to the chase. You're here for the cursed heritage of the Eryndor Family." The old lady reminded her facial expression and tone going all serious.
The Present:
The scene shifted back to the federal agents, who had called in Professor Rachel Jenkins, a leading archeologist researching the artifact since its first appearance.
"Professor Rachel Jenkins, I don't recall requesting an archaeologist's assistance. What brings you here?" Agent Reynolds questioned.
"I permitted her visit." Agent Carter interjected.
"She was one of the archeologist on deciphering team during the discovering of the temple linked to the box artifact's origin." She added.
"I see…" Agent Reynolds replied. "Given your presence, I assume you've been briefed on the situation?"
"Yes," Professor Rachel began.
"MBA042, the code name for the relic, is more than you think it is. Honestly, I expected this sooner or later, but not this early."
"How do you mean?" Agent Reynolds asked, pausing his activities to focus on Professor Rachel.
"After my team and I were sent to the temple on, we worked on deciphering the ancient runes on the wall," Professor Rachel explained. "Thanks to Professor Basil we made huge progress. It turns out the runes was trying to tell us a story." She informs.
"The story of a great light that descended from the heavens…" She began.
The past –10 years ago
"What do you mean by cursed heritage, mom?" Dr. Stella question, her eyes filled with anticipation as she leans forward.
The old lady let's out a sigh before beginning.
"It's started with our ancestors." She began…
Just as She began, Professor Rachel also began as both are about to narrate the same story.
The scene flashed back to the aftermath of a death of a mysterious humanoid figure.
With the passing of this mysterious figure, a box now hovers in the air, scanning the area, searching for any form of life.
Just then, some natives arrived at the scenes, some of them badly wounded, likely from being caught within the range of the explosion.
With no knowledge of what the box was, the natives began to back away the further the box approach. However, the chief stood still, showing no sign of fear as he gaze upon the box with nothing but amusement. The box senses and acknowledge this as it further approaching him. The chief could only help but reach out to the box, touching it. But upon doing so he formed a mind link with the box where the box showed him series of events, each filled with terror and pain. The knowledge from the box begins to overwhelm him causing him to scream out in pain, begging the box to stop as his brain couldn't take it.
Sensing that it was harming him, the box ceased its actions, causing the chief dropped to his knees, tears streaming down from his eyes as he slowly began to catch his breath.
There was a moment of silence where the chief showed no response afterwards but then his eyes began to glow, emitting a bright golden light as he began to rise to air, levitating. He spread out his hands as the light from his body extend to the surrounding area enveloping it. And in a brief second, the light began to fade, as we noticed some of the injured natives from earlier were all healed and looking somehow evolved than before. The crash site had also been transformed back into a forest, restored to its previous state. With that done, the chief landed on both feet, and the light emitted from his body began to disperse into the atmosphere. Witnessing the astonishing powers of the box, they all fell to their knees, worshiping it.
We're then taken to a scene where the chief addresses his subjects, telling them that their master has requested they all come before him. It requires a subject who can inherit its will to bring forth a greater and more superior being. He requests that this be done immediately.
Within an hour time interval, the natives could be seen queuing up, taking turns approaching the box as it scans them, searching for a suitable host.
Seeing this, the people being to mumbled among themselves wondering what had just happened. Seeing as this had never happened before, they developed the mindset that the child was cursed and decided to eliminate the child in order to restore their god.
However, the couple would not agree to this and attempted to escape, which they managed to pull off and decided to start life afresh.
But without the box guidance, the civilization soon fell apart and nothing was recorded after that.
Ending the story of the God-seed. Or so we thought.
The past–10 years ago
"The box tends to revive its long dead world and master, but in order to achieve that, it requires a vessel and a new world. Immediately it deems either of them worthy, it'll instantly activate a world trigger which would allow him to rewrite the life code of our world transforming it to his dead one which would instantly be revived as our world would fade out of existence. This it calls the Second evolution." The old lady explains.
"And our family bears the curse of birthing this vessel. And seeing as how much time had past it safe to assume either Damian or his cousin Cleona is the vessel. I personally believe it's Cleona, seeing as how she's the only pure birthed Eryndor." The old lady informed.
And as such neither Damian or Cleona should be allowed to get close to that box. If they do and they turn out to be this God-seed, then it's safe to assume our world as we know it is over." With that, the old lady concludes.
The present.
"However, a warning was placed. One that tells of what would happen when the box merges with the god seed…, it simply stats that the box intends to revive it's long dead master as well as it dead world. And to do so a vessel for both is needed. If I'm guessing correctly…" Professor Rachel added in speculation.
"Our world might the vessel for its dead world. It plans to rewrite the existence of our world." Agent Reynolds completed.
"Yes, in short, the box contains a codex which can rewrite existence as we know it if we let it fuse with the god seed." Professor Rachel explained.
"And seeing how old the temple is, I'm willing to bet the twentieth generation the box told of is born and ready, otherwise it wouldn't have activated on his own. So to ask, any lead on the kid the box seeks?" She added in question.
