Chapter 3 - Lazy Sessions and Declaration (Part 2)

"What?!" Nicholas yelled.

"O-Oh! I didn't think that this boy had conquered your heart, señorita." Gina gulped.

Nicholas continues to stare at her before Nelly pulls him away.

"Hey!" Nicholas yelled, trying to pull back his arm from her grasp.

"We're here," Nelly stops walking right in front of a red door, she blinks at him, "mi casa, su casa."

She holds the doorknob and pushes it. A massive room with red walls; a pattern of roses is painted on it. The floor and ceiling are painted black.

Every piece of furniture is fixed in the right place, and they all match the color of the wall.

Nicholas looks at her. "Trying to speak Spanish, huh? Let's study so that I can go home."

He sits on one of the sofas in the room, and his eyes turn towards Nelly.

She's facing the body mirror attached to the wardrobe. She holds the sleeves of her white dress between her thumb and index finger.

She pulls the sleeve down, revealing her body hiding within her dress, exposing her white bra and panties. She hums and rubs her palms all over her waist down to her legs.

"I'm getting curvy." she smiled and licked her lips.

Nicholas gulps as his heart beats faster, and his eyes can't tear away from the view.

Nelly looks at him while holding her dress, covering her body from his view.

She smiles. "Pervert."

Nicholas shakes his head and turns around quickly. "You're the one who's undressing here!"

She only laughs in response, and she only wears a black dress. "You seem to be enjoying seeing my body. Be careful or I might do something to you tonight."

Nicholas shakes his head. "No! That's ridiculous! I am not a pervert!"

For a while, Nelly is sitting on the sofa across from Nicholas while wearing a red shirt which is extra large. She puts down her book and stares at him while he's too focused on reading a book.

"Enjoying that much?" Nelly said, standing up, and she went behind him, "You're too focused on reading that or you're too focused on using that book to cover your phone."

Nicholas shakes as he lets out a cry before turning around to face her. "I was only watching a video lecture, nothing else."

She rests her forearms on the sofa and smirks at him. "Liars. You're all liars but I guess I can discipline you."

Nicholas feels himself shaking after her words, and he shakes his head. "Stop talking like we're a couple!"

He stands up and tosses the book on the table. He faces Nelly and scratches his chin.

"Is that true?"

"What's true?"

"You only like those who hate you because they will not attempt to use you."

Nelly's eyes widen before she erupts into laughing while Nicholas raises his eyebrow while watching her.

Nelly stops laughing and wipes her tears using her index finger. "Sorry about that but it's not true. I think it's what they see about me but they don't know the depth of who I am."

She walks around the sofa and sits on it. Her eyes remain fixated on him before saying, "How about you, what do you see about me?"

Nicholas becomes quiet but he speaks in his mind. "What do I truly see about her?"

With a thought appearing in his mind, he answers her. "What I saw when I first met you was a rich brat woman. All rich women are spoiled."

"It looks like you've met all the rich women, Nicholas," Nelly smiled, and put her hand below her earlobe, "What I can confirm is, that you are a judgmental being."

She stands up and walks closer to him as he begins to step back while looking down at her, and they both stop when Nicholas hits the door.

She looks at both of his eyes. "Be wise, and don't judge people so easily like you know them already."

"Being rich is very good; you can spend your money on anything that you desire until your money runs out, or you can choose to make it grow."

She walks back to where she was sitting a few minutes ago, and she stares at Nicholas whose eyes remain glued to her.

"What's hard about being wealthy is that we can never find a true friend or someone to spend our lives with because they might see us only as their source of money."

She sighs. "I only wanted to have someone to be with but that person only sees the false things about me."

Nicholas clears his throat. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. Wait! You like me?!"

"Secret but apologize first," Nelly picked a book on the table, "Anyway, this book that you've been reading… continue reading it, and raise your grades."

Nicholas says, "Hey! Answer my–!"

Nelly clicks her tongue and looks at him with a nonchalant gaze.

He looks down immediately and inhales deeply. "You're right about me, I judge you too quickly. I am truly sorry."

Nelly turns her eyes to him. "If you're truly sorry, then, spend your entire semester here in my mansion."

"Wait! I can't!" Nicholas countered her offer.

"I have a spare room here," Nelly smiles, "I just wanted to have you here, to know you, and help you with everything that I can in studying."

He stays silent before raising his head, looking at her. "I accept your offer just to make it up to you, and end our partnership."

"From now on, I'll never let you go. I'll savor every moment," Nelly spoke in her mind while smiling.

She stares at him. Nicholas sits on the sofa across from her and begins reading the book he was reading a few minutes ago.

After the sun has ended ruling over the sky, the moon comes up. In the dark halls of a mansion, a woman is walking while a scarf covers her entire face.

She reaches a stone wall, and she raises her hand. The entire wall shakes as yellow lines form on it.

The wall creates an open entrance, and she walks inward the room. The walls form a blockage on the entrance, and inside, she halts in front of a floating white crystal surrounded by 9 pillars.

She says "I have found the last descendant. I will be preparing to reveal to him the truth about his identity. Soon, the last descendant will have his destined abilities."

One of the pillars which is green begins to glow. She looks at it and her eyes turn green.

"This is bad news, the trees are feeling the presence of one of the seeds. I must reach the coordinates of the last descendant!"

Vines emerge from her shoulder bag, and she quickly tosses the bag away. A woman comes out of it, and she smiles.

"Give me that crystal and the location of the last descendant, guardian!" she demanded.

The guardian removes her scarf, and she pulls out the lance from her back. "So, it is you, Coseria. I must say, you're impressive, putting yourself in my bag without being detected."

Coseria laughs. "Enough with the impressions, just give me what–!"

The guardian launches her away by releasing a green energy beam from the tip of her spear.

Coseria grits her teeth as the beam disappears, and the guardian lands in front of her.

The blade of the spear is being covered in green energy. The guardian swings the spear, and a deep cut occurs on Coseria's chest; the cut glows and explodes.

The guardian aims her other hand at the crystal. "Go forth, and find the last descendant."

A young woman who's lying down on a bed inside a bedroom, pushes herself to sit.

Her eyes are widening, her heart is beating faster while sweat is falling from her forehead.

"My big sister!" She grabs her necklace which is made of green crystal, "I need to connect to her power stone!"

She stands up and runs out of the house while looking forward with a serious gaze.
