"And that's the story of how I was pregnant and delivered fourteen Necrofriggian babies." Heatblast said while he walked in front of the four ladies as they made their way through the endless dark void. However his travel companies were all mortified and bewildered at the fact that their main light source and companion was a parent.
"Oh, do you guys want to hear about the time me, and my cousin and best friend nearly delivered a baby to be eaten by a giant alien." Heatblast realized how morbid that sounded only after asking.
"No!" Tres Bestia for what seemed like the first time in a long time all agreed on something, while their leader seemed to be lost in her own little world as she mumbled, too soft for any of them to hear.
"Fourteen...four...teen." The golden haired woman looked dazed by the information.
"Wait, if you do not mind me asking Ben how did you even give birth do you lay eggs or do you have female reproductive organs?" Sung-sun spoke as she kept her face covered as usual, however she seemed to raise her right hand even higher than usual.
"Why would you ask that?!"
"What the hell is wrong is wrong with you?!"
Mila and Apacci screamed at their comrade, who jumped a little out of shock and embarrassment.
"I just want to know!" Sung-sun's elegant visage was shattered as quickly scrambled to defend herself, to which she received a giggle from her leader, all of this together made the young woman's usually pale face become a beat red.
"Alright stop teasing her, it's a fair question, and yes I can lay eggs but that's not for making babies it's for bombs. Don't ask. And no I don't have any female human like reproductive organs, everyone one of transformations are either male or asexual. Also to answer, I gave birth through my mouth, and no it didn't hurt I think." The alien walked and talked while recalling events throughout his life.
"This is going to be a long walk isn't it?" Apacci groaned as she heard more stories from Ben both entertaining and disturbing at times.
"Definitely."
"True."
Her comrades groaned alongside her, as they followed behind their leader and the walking flame hazard alien in the darkness.
...
In the Urahara shop Kevin and the presumed owner Urahara just accused the other of being a conman.
"Kevin, how the heck do you know this man?" Gwendolyn asked the ebony haired man while Rook looked between the two as the cashier as his boss.
"Well, Gwen you how the Null Void is-" The auburn young woman interjected.
"Basically hell? Yes. Carry on."
"Weeell, I was trying to bust out then I ran into this guy who seemed to have gotten there by mistake helped him out and that's how I got back home. While I stole a bunch of his stuff he got there." The tall dark haired young man shrugged sheepishly while he attempted to draw distance from himself and the young woman in the coat.
"Ah, so that explains why mister Urahara called him a conman, however why did you call him a conman mister Kevin?" Tessai asked a steadily retreating Urahara.
"Well, Tessai I might have snatched his loot after leading him into a horde of monsters, before you say anything he looked like a monster back then, and before I left I helped turn back to normal, then he stole from me!" The older blond man said as he and Kevin stared each other down, only to receive punches to the head by their girlfriend in the case of Kevin, and closest friend in the case of Urahara.
"I'm sad Ben is not here. I am sure he would like to hear about this." Rook whispered to Gwen as Kevin and the shop owner got their barring.
"Ok, enough of that, what do you need if I remember correctly you were thirteen last time we met and most importantly you're from another universe entirely." Urahara kept things casual as he usually does. Tessai left the shop to put up the closed sign, as a way to prevent others from entering the shop.
"We need your help in finding my cousin Ben, he vanished a while ago and we just came here today because we think there's something seriously wrong." Gwen spoke to Urahahra who directed them to the back of the shop where they could sit comfortably.
"My apologies children for asking, however why do you now only after such a long time come looking for him?" Tessei was the last to enter before he sat down and gave them some small sweets.
"Thank you, mister Tessai, for your answer. Well, he should have the ability to return home anytime he pleases. Ben is a shapeshifter with the ability to access different powers with each form, so we simply waited to see if he was off on an adventure. However, someone we know by the name of Professor Paradox told us that Ben was in an alternate dimension and we have not received any word from him." Rook explained as Urahara nodded his head.
"I see so there must be something that's keeping him here, do you have any way to track him down?" Urahara asked and Gwen perked up.
"I have a few divination spells, oh I'm a mage, magic is what I do. However, this isn't the first time Ben's been to other worlds like this, I assume you're a scientist of some kind, yes? If so you should have detected a large energy spike recently or rather every energy going off all at once." A light seemed to flash in Urahara's eyes as he heard Gwen's words.
"I have and I think I know where your cousin is, however there are a few people you are going to need to see first."
...
"So wait, you teamed up with a metal man from another world to take down an evil tiny computer bugs?" Mila Rose asked as she and the group began to scale a cliff face they encountered this cliff not too long ago and decided since they could not fly they should climb.
Heatblast offered to use his control over the earth to simply propel them above it, however Harribel shut his plan down in the name of conserving energy.
"Yes, and that metal man's name is Rex by the way I'll take you all to meet him after we're done with everything here." Heatblast had to concentrate to ensure the heat his hand emitted did not reduce the rock to magma. After all, his body beneath his rocky exterior was superheated plasma so it was hazardous to most other life forms.
"Huh, you're talking as if you could just up and leave anytime you want, from what I heard you're sort of stuck here so you're helping Lord Aizen as a way to get back home."Apacci spoke as she attempted to catch up Mila and Sung who were ahead of her.
"Oh, that yeah that was a lie. Remember Portaler from back then yeah I could have just opened a portal and went home. I'm still here right now to participate in and stop the war Aizen has in store." Heatblast talked so casually about the idea of stopping a war, his tone suggested he could do it as if he was swatting away a fly.
"Ben, have you stopped a war before?" Harribel asked the flame alien next to her that thanks to his illumination she could see an end in sight which brought a small joy to her heart.
"Yup, when I was fifteen me and my army sort signal handedly stopped the Highbreed from wrecking havoc to every sentient life form in the universe. There were a bunch of other smaller ones many at the same time, which I had to make a few clones go and solve, which made the cultists that very happy. Oh, yeah, uh...I have a cult." The alien awkwardly said as he turned his face away from the golden haired woman next to him.
"What!!" All the girls screamed.
"Ok, in my defense I never started it and they don't kill people or anything like they're just a bunch of helpful people who just really like me. That's ok right?"
"No." All the women present spoke in unison.
Soon the five person group found themselves overlooking a harrowing site. Large trees that seemed to have the appearance of humans seemed to have been slashed to ruin; large gashes were a sign of what had transpired. The trees were numerous and all bore the same markings, the once pristine soil that nourished these trees turned into rotten carcasses of insects the size of cars littered the ground. The only light in the area came from the now fading luminescence from the leaves, the group stood on the cliff mortified.
"W-what happened here?" Sung-sun asked her leader Harribel, who simply shook her head.
"Nothing good, I didn't have a forest with trees like this even existed. Sadly there's nowhere else to turn to so we go through. Unsheathe your weapons, be ready for anything." Harribel gave the order and everyone followed suit, Mila approached Heatblast and offered him his diamond sword he lent her.
"This is yours, you should have it." She presented the pristine blade to the alien, if Mila could admit something it was that Ben had talent and skill in spades. The sword she held in her hand was one of the best she had ever seen in terms of craftsmanship only rivaled by her own which was an extension of her soul!
The alien waved her away.
"Don't worry about it, you keep it, I can always make another on the fly if I need to plus like it keeps Diamonhead's ability to redirect energy." Mila was shocked to say the least Ben just gave away a sword any smith would marvel at to her without a thought, she felt like just received a new toy from her parents.
"Will do!" Mila then began swinging the sword around to get more comfortable with it while the other two members of Tres Bestia saw this and had pouting faces. Harribel leaned down towards where she thought the aliens' ears were and whispered.
"We're not even together and you're already playing favorites with them, and look at me, how am I going to compete?" This caused the alien to seemingly get brighter for a moment while he looked at her, said woman simply held a finger to her mouth.
'She knew from the get go that I liked her!? Wait, did she also know about the girl's desire to rip me to shreds too?!' Ben's thoughts were a whirlwind before he calmed down and called out to the other two members of Tres Bestia.
"Just so you two I'll make you something too, when we get out of here." Heatblast promised and was met with a shout of conformation.
The group travelled through the large forest of towering humanoid trees and gargantuan insect corpses they simply made their way straight to anywhere that would allow them to use the abilities to manipulate space or fly.
The five of them saw more decaying trees as they ventured deeper and deeper and more surprisingly enough structures made from an alabaster coloured rock or mineral.
"There are houses here, the insides have splatter marks I think there was a massacre here." Ben gave his grim recount of what he had seen in the houses. The woman all seemed disturbed by it, this place they were in it was completely foreign to them they couldn't even access their most basic abilities.
"Ok how about we just relax and rest here for now if anything we know that we're alone-" A cry like that of a demon reverberated through quit and dark space the group inhabited. Everyone turned to Apacci who turned away from them while she apologized.
Above the group, past the canopy made by the leaves a purple light and white flame were conversing.
"What did you drag in here you little fox?" The purple spoke in a distorted voice.
"Oh, nothing. I just wanted that stupid berserker to meet his old master's spawn and see the chaos that would unfold. Why? Are you scared that he might hurt him?" The flame spoke with a sultry tone.
"The knight of betrayal killing Tennyson? Not in a million years, Skaya." The two floated there as they observed the events about to unfold.
