In the endless void of space, massive battle ships drifted silently, marching toward an unknown destination.
Inside one of them…
Hanuro was searching for someone.
She stopped in front of a door, hesitated, then checked the label.
A library.
Exactly where she expected him to be.
She opened the door quietly and entered.
Hanuro:
"Hm… yep, it's the library.
He should be here… just like they said."
She walked deeper through the aisles until she spotted him—
brows furrowed, surrounded by floating books.
Hiko.
Hanuro approached him quietly from behind.
Hanuro:
"Oii, Hiko?"
Hiko:
"Hm? What is it?"
Hanuro:
"Did you get… any info about"
Hiko:
"You mean Hanuri?"
Hanuro:
"Y-YEAH."
Hiko lowered his voice, becoming serious.
Hiko:
"Not much… but when I connected certain points from history and old archives… I found something."
Hanuro blinked.
Confused. Nervous.
Hanuro:
"Huh? What did those 'points' even tell you?"
Hiko closed the book he was holding and spoke sharply.
Hiko:
"The info hints that she_Hanuri_might have a sister.
Not biological… more like a stepsister."
Hanuro's eyes widened.
She tried to act casual. She failed.
Hanuro:
"O-oh!! W-well that's… k-kinda surprising!
A-anything else?! What other info did you get?!"
Hiko looked at her with suspicion dripping from his tone.
Hiko:
"Her father… seems to have been one of the Legends.
Not from the Ten Legends we know today.
Someone different.
Someone not listed among the living ones."
Hanuro's confusion only grew.
Hanuro:
"What are you even saying?
Do you hear yourself?
None of this makes any sense!"
Hiko:
"I KNOW it doesn't.
But that's the exact information I uncovered."
Hanuro:
"Bruh, I'm leaving.
You're just making me more confused."
She turned to walk away_
But Hiko suddenly spoke.
His voice sharp.
Dangerously sharp.
Hiko:
"Hanuro…
are you hiding something from me?"
Hanuro froze.
Her heart skipped a beat.
Hanuro:
"W-W-WHAT?? What do you m-mean?!
I-I'm not hiding ANYTHING!
Are you… accusing me?!"
Hiko watched her reaction closely.
He didn't miss a single detail.
Then he smirked.
Hiko:
"Okay okay relax.
I'm just joking.
Bye for now."
Hanuro didn't wait another second.
She bolted out of the room fast.
Hiko sighed and sat down.
A tired smile formed on his lips.
Hiko:
"Hahh… bruh.
She's way too easy to read."
He leaned back, speaking to himself.
Hiko:
"Whether she hides it or not…
I already know what she's keeping from me."
His eyes narrowed.
A whisper escaped him.
Hiko:
"You're Hanuri's sister, Hanuro…"
But then his expression changed.
Confusion mixed with curiosity.
Hiko:
"But what I STILL can't figure out is…
who the hell is Hanuri's father?"
The mystery lingered in the silent library.
