Chapter 5 - 4. Heaven was Typing...

We weren't best friends yet.

We weren't lovers either.

We were something in-between…

A spark that hadn't asked for a name.

There were no confessions.

No labels.

No promises.

But there was something.

Her: "You look like trouble."

Me: "Only for you."

Her: "Cutie."

Me: "Say that again, I might fall."

We flirted like we were trying to hide it — even from ourselves.

But we also laughed like we were afraid of what silence might reveal.

And still… we stayed.

Longer than we planned.

Deeper than we expected.

I remember the way she'd randomly say "shut up" with the tiniest smile tucked in her text.

Or how I'd call her cutie five times in one message, just to make her say it back once.

There was no plot. No plan.

Just this pull — soft, magnetic, majestic.

Too innocent to be love.

But too intense to be anything else.

She wasn't mine.

But every conversation made it harder to remember that.

Because sometimes, falling in love doesn't feel like heaven.

It feels… unreal.

Like you're slipping out of your own skin.

Questioning reality.

Wondering if you won her heart — or just lost yours.

I didn't know how she looked.

But I imagined her smile anyway.

Not because I'd seen it —

But because I felt it.

In the way she texted "Cutiee" with two e's.

In the way she scolded me like she had the right to worry.

Like she already did.

I hadn't heard her voice either.

But I knew it wasn't loud — it was warm.

The kind of voice that wraps around your sadness and tells it to hush.

And somehow… I could hear her laugh

Between her lmao and 💀.

We were nothing more than usernames.

But she felt more real

than anyone who'd ever sat beside me.

No eyes to look into.

No hands to hold.

But somehow…

She saw me clearer than anyone ever had.

And I?

I was already reaching for her.

Across screens.

Across silence.

Across fear.

Sometimes I questioned if she really loved me

Or if it was just something fun for her.

Actually, not sometimes — every time.

And that's when my heart began to ache.

Not for her attention…

But for recognition.

It wanted to be owned.

It wanted to be held.

It wanted to be hers.

And that's when we stopped guessing…

And started belonging.

11th June 2024, 10:40:31 PM.

It wasn't a proposal.

It wasn't "Will you be mine?"

It was just :-

A silent arrow.

Two clicks.

Two hearts, finally brave enough

to stop pretending.

That night may have been just any night for the rest of the world.

But for me?

It was like watching Aurora Lights...

Through my phone.

As a username.

And somehow ..

That was enough to light up my whole sky.
