Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 Shu Yuewu

Xia Xin arrived dazed and dazed, dark circles under his eyes. Just as he was about to lie down, he heard his deskmate, Fatty Mao, discussing League of Legends with a few other students.

Fatty Mao wasn't actually much hairier than the others; at most, he was a bit heavier and a bit chubby. Because he played support and idolized Curly, he dubbed himself Fatty Mao. He vowed that there would only be two support players in League of Legends: Curly and Fatty Mao.

...There were only two Maos left in the support world.

Fatty Mao angrily said, "You bastards! We were clearly going to win yesterday, so why did we lose to Class 2 again? Chen Cong, why do you keep dying in mid lane? Every time I turn around, I see your screen is black and white. Every time I turn around, I see your screen is black and white."

Chen Cong said, "That jungler is crazy. He's always stalking me. Every time I go out, he's here within two minutes. Why is the jungler always running to mid lane when he's not farming?"

"They're using you as a jungler."

"..."

Fat Mao said, "Didn't I tell you? There are only two strong players on the other side, a Platinum IV jungler and a Diamond V AD carry. Be careful."

"And Zhang Qian, with me supporting you, how did you get killed like this? You're a Miss Fortune, being chased by a Graves."

Zhang Qian said, "Boss, the other side is a Diamond V powerhouse. You're asking for trouble, asking me, a Gold III player, to go up against them." Are you going to die?"

"Then you can't be so overwhelmed you can't even leave the tower."

"There's no way. The opponent's suppression is too strong. If you leave the tower, you'll die."

"Damn, we lost so badly yesterday."

At this moment, a girl came over with a graceful voice. "Mao Pang, can you do it? You guys keep talking about League of Legends. How could you get beaten so badly by Class 2? I'm so embarrassed."

"Okay, of course I can't. We were just out of form yesterday. I promise we'll be fine today."

Xia Xin glanced at the girl. Her name was Shu Yuewu, the class beauty. She had rosy lips and white teeth, a pair of sparkling eyes, and a slender and sexy figure. Her T-shirt was a little short, but it stretched out her well-developed 18-year-old body into a towering curve. Her long, plump legs, clad only in a denim miniskirt, were a dazzling white.

Xia Xin subconsciously glanced at her beautiful legs, his heart fluttering. Truly beautiful! He inadvertently met Shu Yuewu's eyes, but quickly looked away. Her eyes were so alluring and watery that Xia Xin dared not look any longer.

He noticed that several of the boys nearby were staring at Shu Yuewu with a lustful, even more unbearable expression than himself, and he felt reassured. He knew he wasn't the only one.

Shu Yuewu was not only beautiful, but also sexy, with a great figure. She was practically every boy's dream girl in the class. She was also cheerful, generous, and had a knack for fun.

But she was incredibly playful, playing everything: football, basketball, tennis, League of Legends, even boyfriends.

Her nickname was "Little Slut."

This time, she'd stolen the boyfriend of Class 2's beauty, Chen Yao, Lu Ming. No... to be more precise, she'd asked Lu Ming to teach her how to play League of Legends. Chen Yao was definitely not happy about that. Why would her boyfriend teach another girl, especially one called "Little Slut," how could he play League of Legends?

Then the two women started a fight, and even recruited the boys in the class to play a game. Loser, get lost.

Shu Yuewu put her hands on her hips and said angrily, "I'm so pissed off. Yesterday, I saw so many of you, but you couldn't hold down that AD carry. In the end, he killed us in three hits. Aren't there a lot of people in our class who play League of Legends? You know everyone well, so find a few good ones."

"No problem, we'll definitely win today. Just watch me," Mao Pang practically drooled over Shu Yuewu, patting his chest and promising, "I'll ask."

Mao Pang looked around, asking a few people about their rank, and finally asked Xia Xin, "Xia Xin, I remember you play occasionally, right? What position do you play?"

"AD carry."

Mao Pang beamed, "What's your rank?"

"I'm Bronze 4 or 5, I forgot."

Xia Xin spoke truthfully.

He rarely played his account; his sister played it all the time. Last time, he heard he'd reached Bronze 4, which made her happy for a day, but then it seemed like he'd dropped back down, leaving her feeling sad all day.

"Damn, it's useless."

Shu Yuewu said, "Don't lose this time. If we lose again, our Class 1 of Senior 3 won't be able to hold our heads up against Class 2 anymore."

"Don't worry, Yuewu. If you lose again today, I'll eat my keyboard on livestream."

Mao Pang was just trying to show off, trying to impress Shu Yuewu.

After that, Xia Xin stopped listening to what they said.

It wasn't that he was hiding his skills, but his classmates were all quite aggressive. He occasionally played matches with Mao Pang and the others, fearing they'd know his rank and force him to play every day. He needed to earn money by playing for his family, not just playing.

Most of the class was Silver or Gold, with Mao Pang being the highest rank, Platinum 5. They called those in Diamond 5 "Gods," and yesterday, Xia Xin's Transcendent Master was even looked down upon during the match.

As you can imagine, these were two completely different worlds. If there had been a Diamond 5 student in yesterday's situation, he wouldn't even have deserved to be looked down upon; no one would have even glanced at him.

He drowsily listened to the teacher on the podium discussing various matters related to the college entrance exam. He watched as one teacher after another took the podium, and finally, the sweet bell rang.

Just as Xia Xin was about to leave, he saw Chen Yao and a few other boys blocking the classroom door. "Come on, Shu Yuewu! I'll shave your heads today."

Chen Yao was pretty, but she was a bit less attractive than the voluptuous Shu Yuewu.

Shu Yuewu wasn't afraid either. "Come on, come on. Who's afraid of who?"

Fatty Mao roared, "Having more people isn't a big deal. Class 1, Senior 3, follow me if you have the guts to do this. Don't let others look down on us."

The group left, clamoring. This wasn't just a fight between Shu Yuewu and Chen Yao over who to choose; it had expanded to a battle for honor between Class 1 and Class 2.

Seeing them leave, Xia Xin was about to leave when someone grabbed him. "Xia Xin, you're on duty."

Xia Xin glanced at the blackboard and saw it was indeed.

Another half hour passed, and it was already getting dark.

Xia Xin hurried out. Just as he passed the basketball court, he heard a voice, "Be careful, students."

A red figure appeared out of the corner of his eye. Without even thinking, Xia Xin tilted his head and reached out to catch the basketball that was headed straight for his head.

A boy ran over. "Wow, classmate, you're really quick! You even caught that! That's impressive! You're really good at basketball, right?"

Xia Xin smiled. "Just luck. I've only played basketball once before."

"Huh?"

Handing the basketball to the boy, Xia Xin walked out of the school and made his way to the Zero Point Internet Cafe.

As soon as I entered the internet cafe, I heard Fatty Mao yelling from the corner, "Zhang Qian, come on, come on! Damn it, kill him!"

The internet cafe was filled with people sitting in the 5th company, surrounded by a crowd, and of course, Shu Yuewu's cheers of encouragement.

It sounded bad.

In the other corner, the team from Class 2, also 5th company, was much more relaxed, laughing wildly. "Haha, another double kill, these losers!"

"Isn't this just a free meal? Cool! My male gun is invincible."

No one noticed Xia Xin's arrival. He was an inconspicuous, dispensable type in the class, a very ordinary type. He didn't have any particular close friends, nor did he have any particular enemies. He only met classmates.

Xia Xin walked down the far right aisle and noticed that the person sitting at the rightmost computer was Zhang Qian, playing a cute little policewoman. The person who had pulled up an extra chair to his right to watch him play was Shu Yuewu.

Shu Yuewu puffed up her cheeks, waving her fists, and angrily exclaimed, "Hateful, hateful, hateful! If only that big thing hadn't been blocked by the Japanese girl."

Xia Xin thought Shu Yuewu was a versatile witch. When she was cute, she was especially adorable. With her pouty face and waving fists, she looked a bit like a younger sister. When she was sexy, she was incredibly sexy, with her slender legs and voluptuous waist, it was hard not to stare twice.

It wasn't that Xia Xin had any obscene thoughts, but rather a normal boy's thoughts on beautiful women. Everyone loves beauty.

After glancing at Zhang Qian's policewoman, Xia Xin understood.

He was haphazard at minioning, only able to take down two or three of the six or seven soldiers. His Q barely hit Graves, and he'd run away when Graves attacked him, not daring to even turn back to attack. He was clearly frightened, even though the policewoman had a 125-yard longer range than Graves.

He was so frightened that he couldn't minion under the tower.

As for the ADC's primary move, he could only manage a basic grasp of it. He wasn't proficient, let alone fluent. Sometimes he'd miss targets and even run up to them, only to be hit in vain by an A2 and forced to run back.

Even without looking at the other lanes, the contrast between Graves and Caitlyn in the bot lane was stark.

Xia Xin walked down the hallway. Ahead was the emergency exit, to the left were the stairs leading to the second floor, and to the right was the management office, home to the head network administrator, Wang Xue.

"Ahhhhhhhh, this is infuriating!"

Shu Yuewu stamped her feet in anger, waving her fists wildly, wishing she could beat Zhang Qian to death. He was so useless.

She turned her head casually and spotted a figure from behind.

"Xia Xin? He's here too? Hey, what's he doing there? The restroom is on the other side, and there... I think it's the network administrator's room."

Shu Yuewu didn't have a deep impression of Xia Xin, but she did know one thing: over the past three years, every boy in the class had taken the opportunity to talk to her, chatting, exchanging QQ numbers, WeChat accounts, and the like. Only Xia Xin hadn't.

She had the QQ numbers of every boy in the class, except Xia Xin's. Xia Xin's QQ number was only visible in the class group.

As a girl, she knew which boys were peeking at her. She also knew Xia Xin occasionally looked at her. At first, she thought Xia Xin was being reserved and would eventually talk to her.

She didn't care. She actually enjoyed the naked, or even greedy, gazes from boys.

Humph, maybe he'll masturbate with my photo when he gets home. I told you to pretend, pretending to be deep with me, but sooner or later, your true colors will show.

But after three years of waiting, Xia Xin still hadn't spoken to her.

The only time they'd done that was during a general cleaning, when they were on duty together.

Then Xia Xin came over.

She'd expected him to say, "You go ahead, I'll do the sweeping."

She was used to boys showing attention.

But Xia Xin came over and said calmly, "Groups one and two, you sweep. I'll do the rest."

What? You're asking me to sweep the floor with a broom! Do you know how dirty it is? What if I get sweaty? What if I get my hands dirty...?

From then on, she'd been keeping an eye on Xia Xin. He was ordinary, yet extraordinary.

Several times when he'd glanced at her, she'd glanced back, startling him so much that he'd quickly avert his gaze. She'd secretly chuckled, realizing that Xia Xin was quite innocent and rarely spoke to girls in class.

After a few times, she noticed that this boy's eyes were different from the other boys'. She couldn't pinpoint the difference, but it was just different. A different feeling, a pure feeling.

Shu Yuewu rolled her eyes and said, "I need to go to the restroom."

She walked along the hallway until she reached the door of the network administration office, carefully tilting her head toward it...

What on earth was he doing here? Did he know the network administrator?
