"What cost?" Thornak asked.
Aurion glanced around, then looked back at Lara.
"It involves the Original Five."
Thornak frowned. "The Original Five?"
"It includes you, Thornak," Lara said quietly. "The first Lycan. The Demon Prince. The Siren Princess. And the Starborn Warrior."
Nerida stiffened. "Are you saying what I think you're saying?"
"Yes," Lara said. "You were all there in my past life. You were reborn, just as I was. None of this was by chance."
Kalith stepped towards her. "So you remember, Moonguard."
Lara smiled and nodded.
Rhylen shrugged. "When I was first told, I didn't believe it. Not until the Moonguard appeared at my doorstep asking for my help. Then everything started to make sense."
Silence fell over the group.
"So we were being drawn together all along," Wanda said. "That explains why I was brought to the mortal realm"
