The witch's hut stood alone at the far edge of Eldiora, its simple wooden structure looked old and weathered from years of rain and sun. The thatched roof was neatly trimmed, with wisps of dry grass poking out here and there.
A thin curl of smoke drifted lazily from the chimney, carrying the scent of burning herbs into the air. A small garden surrounded it, filled with rows of strange plants.
Ninzu lifted her hand and knocked on the door, the sound seemed to echo louder than it should have. When the door opened, a young woman peeped out, her eyes widening at the sight of her.
"Well, well, well, see who the cat dragged in," she muttered.
"Who is it?" another voice called from inside.
The girl kept staring at Ninzu. "A sorceress," she responded.
There was a beat of silence. Then the second voice scoffed, "A sorceress? In Eldiora? You must be seeing things again. Did you eat those blue mushrooms again?"
