Thornak's expression changed.
He knew that look. He could feel the change in her scent.
His wolf stirred.
"Lara..." he whispered.
She looked at him, confused. "What is happening to me?"
"You're going into heat," he said quietly.
Her eyes widened.
"What! how can that be? I don't have a wolf."
Thornak growled as her scent filled her completely.
"I don't know but your scent is driving me crazy."
Her body felt hot and and burning, as if the garden around them was on fire.
He kissed her again, deeper this time. Her fingers tangled in his hair, and he let out a low growl, full of need. Her lips parted, and she gasped as his mouth pressed harder against hers, hotter, hungrier.
"So this is heat?"
"Yes," he growled, brushing his lips against her jaw. "You've bonded to a Lycan now Moonguard and now your body is reacting to my presence."
