Kael, who was leaning over the map with a smug grin, looked up.
"Back so soon?" he teased. "I was certain Lady Lara would keep you longer."
Thornak shot him a glare and walked straight to the map.
"Where is The Vale of Thorns?" he asked.
Dain and Ruvan exchanged puzzled looks.
Both of them bent over the map, scanning it carefully.
"There isn't a town with that name," Dain said after a moment.
"Could it be one of the werewolf cities?" Ruvan suggested.
Thornak shook his head. "I'm not exactly sure."
The room fell silent as everyone searched the map.
Then Kael's finger stopped on a narrow trail winding through the mountains.
"Wait..." He looked up. "It isn't a town." He tapped the map. "It's a forest."
Thornak frowned. He studied the map for a long moment.
"We alter our movement," he said. "The main force rides to the Vale of Thorns."
Dain blinked. "What?"
