"In the end, I was nothing but a whisper. A name soon to be forgotten…"
– Izayami Tsukihiro
⸻
Izayami opened his eyes and the room was a mess. The table was flipped over, bookshelf had emptied with the books all over the floor.
Then his eyes caught the girl, floating mid-air. Her silvery-pink hair drifted like starlight water. The glowing orb from before swirled around her.
For a minute it felt like time had frozen as he watched her in awe.
Beautiful, Angelic, like an angel being send from heaven…
Her eyelids fluttered open, hazy divine light gleamed within them. For the first time since he had found her, she was awake.

💫 A New Day
The sun rose brighter than ever, like a veil of light concealing an upcoming disaster…
She tried to take her first step but after centuries of slumber, she lost her balance and fell — Luckily, Izayami managed to catch her in time.
Their eyes met, and time slowed as she blushed faintly. Every breath between them thundered louder than the silence.
"Liya…" He murmured, words barely made it out of his lips a memory he once had.
"Tch…"
Haruto looked at them feeling annoyed. "Alright, that's enough romance for both of you." His tone dripped with annoyance—jealousy hidden behind sarcasm.
Izayami's face turned red as he realises what Haruto meant.
Izayami gently put her down and looked away embarrassed . She smiled softly amused by his reaction.
Haruto smirked. "Are you trying to make a move on her or something?" he said teasingly.
That question caught him off guard. "I- W-what? no! That's not what I intended to do. I'm just helpi-"
Haruto cuts off. "Yeah yeah whatever."
The girl chuckles looking at their childish behaviour.
Izayami tried to explain himself, but Haruto just ignored him each time—secretly enjoying it.
"Care to introduce yourself?" Haruto asked, his gaze fixed on her—Izayami's eyes soon followed, curious and eager to know as well.
"Yurina…" she whispered, her voice fragile yet reaching them clearly.

🐉 Descendants of Dragons
"Yurina von Dravenveil… The... " she looks away. "…crimson calamity…"
"The Crimson Calamity?" Izayami asked interested. "Sounds cool. I'm Izayami Tsukihiro..."
Yurina looked at him with confusion in her eyes. That title… once it had brought terror upon the world. A name she despised—yet to them, it seemed meaningless.
"…and this is Haruto" He pointed his index finger at Haruto.
He smiled and chuckled a little. "I'll get straight to the point." Haruto's words cut through the silence like a blade.
Izayami froze, caught off guard, while Yurina braced herself for what was to come.
Haruto's eyes fixed on her. "We need your power to activate Izayami's innercore for stopping the Architects invasion ."
"I'm sorry but i ca-"She tried to reply but…
Haruto cut her off. "I'm not finished. I know who you are. You carry a fragment of Chaos… and that's why they chained you in the temple."
For a moment silence devoured the room.
"…and they had your brother prisoned in the cracked dimension. You know that." Haruto reminded her with a tragedy she hoped to forget.
Her eyes shimmered as a single tear slipped down her cheek.
Izayami didn't know what to do—he simply stood there, watched in silence. He couldn't help but fell sorry.
Before Haruto could spoke she said. "But it will take time…"
"Better than nothing. Right?" Haruto tried to convince her.
She sigh. "Fine. But you need to help me rescuing my brother from the Apostles."
Apostles? Izayami wondered what they are. Could it be the Architects?
"As you wish." Haruto gave her a pleasant smile.
A thought strikes her thought. "Does that mean…" Yurina looked at Izayami's innocent face. "…he is the reincarnation of Chaos?" She felt the atmosphere thickened.

⚔️ Unexpected Guest
"I guess so… but he is the embodiment of Dream itself." Izayami said softly, his tone calm, careful—anything to keep her from panicking.
Haruto acted like a fool as always—reading a book that fell to the floor as if it's not a big deal.
Yurina smiled with a hint of awkwardness. "You guys really are something don't you?"
SKKRRRIIEEEKKK!!
A piercing cry ripped apart the silence.
KRRSSHHH!!
Glass shattered—A winged abomination made of rotten flesh and exposed bones burst through the window. Wall collapsed. For a moment everyone froze.
Something dangled at its mouth… looks like an arm. Human arm. Its sharp claws clenched a headless corpse tight. Its eyes wondered across the room in search of prey.
Izayami's instincts kicked in. He shielded the girl while Haruto summoned his katana. The creature snarled, claws dripping with black goo.
That thing launched itself at Haruto. Fast and menacing.
Izayami reached his hand towards him. "Watch out!"
Haruto sighed. " just sleep…" With a single swing, the creature was shredded into countless pieces.
It was a quick death. The floating sanctum was barely in ruins due to Haruto's relentless strikes.
"What.. is that?" Izayami's voice sounded terrified of the abomination. "It looked like it wasn't supposed to exist."
Yurina's voice carried a heavy weight. "It's a creature created by the Apostle of Life—stitched from the dead." she continued. "Its DNA rewrote, making them an anomaly beyond recognition."
Haruto wiped his blade. "We called it, Gravemaw." He looked at Izayami dead serious. "This town is under attack."
Izayami felt uneasy. "Attacked? by who?"
"The Apostles…" Yurina voice trembled, the words barely reaching anyone's ears
The system popped into his vision.

This is not the same warning he had received before. It made Izayami doubt his own ability.
Haruto walked toward the cliffside, stepping through the collapsed wall left behind by the Gravemaw's rampage. Followed by others.

🔮 Apostle's Arrival
The town was manifested with Gravemaw. Building on fires. Knights and mages fought desperately to protect the civilians.
[Aether Vision - Activate]
Izayami frantically searched the source of destruction.
Yurina had no time to think—wings burst open from her back, and she launched herself into the battlefield, saving as many lives as she could.
Haruto reached his hand towards her. "Oi! Wait for a moment!" He sighed as he watched she left before chasing after her.
Izayami still at the floating sanctum observed the sky and noticed someone… or something.
A man stood still in the middle of the disaster. Gravemaw weren't even paying attention to him. That made him curious.
"Is he the Apostle of life?" So he had thought.
BOOOMMMMM!!!
Lightning thundered in eastern part of the town draws his attention. Entire blocks of buildings there lay in ruins.
Chief Haruza staggered forward, panting from the battle. Before him stood a man wreathed in flames, fire curled around his body like a crown of destruction.
Izayami ground his teeth. "Whatever he is.. He must be the source."
[Molecule Control - elements]
Wings of pure wind formed, vast and ethereal, trailing energy as they flapped once — and hurled him skyward.
