Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: The Architects

———

⏳ Older Than Primordials

"To know the truth of the world… you must be willing to see how it was born… and how it began to break."

— Haruto Ayashi

———

Haruto's laughter broke the silence, sudden and jarring.

Izayami doesn't understand what is going on.

A confusion?

A mistake?

Did i make a joke?

Words unable to describe..

"You have been walking through this land without knowing what it is truly is.. and i bet that you picked her up in an old church cause she looks like a fyneshit." He says jestingly.

Izayami stood in between him and the sleeping beauty, and rolls his eyes. "She has nothing to do with us. Just tell me what's the situation."

"Yeah. Yeah. Whatever." Haruto's voice lowered, deep and resonant, as if layered with countless echoes.

"This world.. Eternavexus… is a playground. A stage. A masterpiece carved from the void itself.." Haruto frowned "but also a mistake… created by the Architects — beings older than even the Primordials."

Izayami's gaze sharpened.

"Before Eternavexus have been created.. they built infinite galaxies, endless realms, countless dimensions," Haruto continued, "but time… even for them… is a cruel thing. And when eternity stretches too far, even gods begin to get bored."

Before Izayami could speak, Haruto's hand pressed against his forehead.

The world vanished to nothing white.. pure.. and then.. dark.

👑The Birth of Rulers

As he open his eyes, the surrounding was empty...

no light,

no creatures,

no laws,

nothing..

including his own body and he's.. floating? But on what? it doesn't make any sense including for the writer..

He can feel that he's stuck in someone's or something else's consciousness.

From that nothingness.. he saw something moved — releasing a dreadfull surge of mana.

A ripple, a breath — and then [Eryz, the Architect of Chaos], stepped into existence. The source of unpredictability. The first to exists. The first spark of change. His eyes swirled with storms of every color, and in his presence, the void seemed to shift and tremble.

He watched,

He waited,

He knew the rest are coming..

And they did.. One by one.

Endless, infinite and all-encompassing. [Uthulhu, the Architect of Space] — Suns and black holes drifted like motes of dust.

Followed by [Pairoz, the Architect of Time] — his body was a river that flowed in two directions, each current carrying the past and future in equal weight.

Draped in blossoms that bled into flesh. [Ereshkigal, the Architect of Life] — her touch caused worlds to bloom with living color.

[Kiel, the Architect of Death] — a pale silhouette whose presence muted every sound; in his shadow, even stars stopped burning.

His voice sang shapes into beings. [Brahma, the Architect of Creation] — each melody gave shape to the unshaped.

A figure of black stone and molten veins emerge.. [Cipher, the Architect of Gravity] — Whose every step bent the void into orbit.

The reality bender. [Caintzyr, the Architect of Dream] — a weaver of fiction, whose hands shaped what could never exist into reality.

And finally, [Vulture, the Architect of Elemental Force] — clad in storms and fire, he tore the primal forces apart, separating flame from water, wind from stone.

Each on a different level that even gods can't rival, each possessing an Authority — power unimaginable for mortal comprehension.

Izayami soon realize that the power he had gained for a few days were a mere childsplay for them. In front of him are the true rulers who dominates all creation and possibilities.

🌙 Dream

One of them glared at him. The moment their eyes met, his lungs locked as if the void itself had wrapped around his ribs.

More of them turned — silent, merciless — and the pressure increased, crushing his bones. His vision cracked. His mind had already been torn apart. The pain was unbearable.

He started to lose his consciousness... — He fainted.

"... Oi! Wake up, I'm not done yet." Haruto poked his forehead. "Stop lying around and get up!"

A sharp poke to his forehead dragged him back. Izayami gasped for air as soon as the candlelight reached him, his chest heaving, his face was as pale as moonlight.

"Dude, relax..." Haruto tried to calm him down.

Izayami looked at him, annoyed. "Relax?! What the heck was that?"

*Shit, he is overreacting* He thought, and slapped him back to reality… "Hold yourself together," and continued "The vision you just saw was just a fragment of Eryz's memories."

"Eryz? You mean.. the Chaos Architect?" Izayami asked.

"Yes, and it'll appear more often in your dreams." He replied.

"Why are you telling me this?" Izayami asked… again.

"To prepare you."

He reached into his coat and pulled out an orb — pulsing faintly red, like a heartbeat trapped in glass…

"…plus, we are going to beat them."

✨The Awakening

"What's that? The orb caught his attention.

"From now on, you must…accept the fact that you are the reincarnation of Chaos…" Haruto explained.

"Lucky for you... I am the embodiment of Dream" He clenched his fist.

"…we need to end their war for the sake of existence…" He turned his head to the girl.

Izayami followed his gaze. "What are you doing?"

Haruto walked to her with the orb. "She will be the key to our victory..."

Izayami watched him. The information he had recieved in one night was too much.

The orb that was held by Haruto flew to the girl by itself — recognising her as its master.

Then Haruto starts chanting some ancient spells in rune language — magic circle take form.

As the spell took shaped, radiant light bloomed from the magic. Izayami could feel the sanctum beneath him.

The light swelled — too bright, too fast — before erupting with thunderous crack. The floor split, stone and dust blasting into the air, light burst — blinding everyone around leaving silence in his wake.
