Just as the hand of the burly man was about to touch her, she quickly slammed the phone in her hand into his face hard.. "Ugh.." he fell back two steps behind, as he was unprepared and the attack came suddenly, he got no time to dodge..
The other guy saw this and lunged towards her with force, but she dodged his hand and hit him with a hard kick to his private parts.. The heels she wore with so much hope, ended up sinking inside his skin..
Forsythia threw her heels and ran away.. The two guys saw that she was getting away, The burly guy had now recovered from the impact he got from the phone, and got up to help his partner "Get up quickly.. we have to catch that b*tch.."
Forsythia heard their voices and ran faster.. She knew that she couldn't stop.. if she stopped, those guys would catch her and send her to their boss, and she knew for sure that, she could not get out of that place anytime soon, and her life shall turn into a hell..
End of flashback
She laughed mockingly at herself.. "Hehe.. how stupid can I be? I should've known the moment he smiled at me.. huh.. I should've been doubted his intentions.. I should've known there could be a reason for the sudden turn of his behavior.. hehe.. Stupid Forsythia, not learning until you see the grave.. huh"
She mumbled to herself and gathered herself together.. a stinging pain rose from het feet, looking down she saw her usually pedicured feet, covered in mud, they might have gotten some cuts and stabs, to make them sting in pain..
She took a deep breath and wiped the rain water from her face, and started to walk in a pace as fast as she could go in the rain and the muddy pathway..
Just as she moved forward, she heard footsteps behind her, she didn't need to turn around to know that those man had almost caught up to her.. she ran frantically again.. trying to find a place to hide.. But she knew that she can't hide from them.. they'll catch her if she stopped, so she just ran forward without thinking where the path was taking her to..
After running for what felt like and eternity she reached up to a sharp cliff of the mountain where there was no way ahead, only dark ravine ahead.. not knowing how deep it was, she picked up a rock the size of her head and threw it down the cliff...
The rain had already lessened before she reached the stop, so she could hear the rock when it finally made contact with the ground after falling for a good few seconds.. As she heard the noise, she knew it was a deep ravine and it impossible for her go down that path..
"I have to find another way to get out of here.." She mumbled as she turned around to look for another way, just as She walked a few steps and was about to enter the forest again, she caught the eyes of a man as he shouted "There she is, in front of you... get her.."
She was not expecting them to catch up to her so quickly.. But she knew that she was barefoot, and they were not.. As she saw them coming closer to her, she started to back away with a horrified expression..
She knew that it was over.. she could never escape from them if she got caught.. her feet came to a halt as she felt that, there was nothing behind and except for the deep ravine..
She looked at the guys as they stopped at a few meters away from her.. They were talking and bickering amongst themselves, but no voice was getting inside her ears.. her brain was thinking and trying to find every possible way to get out of their hands, but all for naught..
She took a deep breath as she saw two of the four man walking towards her, and she finally accepted her fate.. She knew she had no other option..
Forsythia smiled to herself and said suddenly "Tell Lucas that If I don't die today, then I'll come back for revenge.. And if i die.. huh.. I'll not let him live even if i turn into a vengeful evil ghost.."
With that she closed her eyes and jumped down the ravine.. A lone tear sliding down her eyes.. "Dad I'm sorry.."

"Wake up.. Forsythia.. you're still sleeping.. didn't I tell you last night to get ready early in the morning.. thump thump.. open this damn door now, or I'll ask someone to break it down.." Forsythia opened her eyes abruptly and sat up on her bed..
"What was that just now? I thought I heard my mother's voice yelling at me to get ready.." She mumbled to herself, as she heard some footsteps outside her door..
At this moment, all the events, that felt like it just happened came to her mind.. she knew that she had jumped down that cliff.. but then what was she doing in her room while she lived with her mother?
Just as she was thinking about some possibilities of it all being a dream, an absurd thought came to her mind, and she shook her hear.. "No.. No.. no.. it's not possible.. how can someone, travel back in time? I'm not in some kind of a fantasy novel, for something like that happening to me.. nah.."
As she doubted her own thoughts, a tiny voice caught her attention "Squeak"
"Squeak.. Squeak.." She heard a bird chirping, but when she looked around she couldn't find anything.. she shook her hear and said " first, I have to find a way to get out of here.. whether I traveled back in time or not, i have to Run away, as soon as possible.."
