Chapter 50 - Chapter-50: I have three questions

Chapter-50: I have three questions

"I have three questions." Without waiting for the other party to ask back, she continued.

"First, what's the point of my elder brother stealing an old purse? No matter how poor my family is, we can still afford a purse. I have bought several pieces of cloth, so we can make as many purses as we want."

The officer who lost the silver glared at her angrily and said, "There are more than ten coins of silver in the purse." Wendy Lark looked puzzled.

"I see. But this amount of money is not much. My family has several hundred coins. Why would my eldest brother take such a huge risk to steal? The consequences of being discovered are not worth the actual benefits."

The officer who lost the silver was full of contempt, and he knew that she was a delicate lady who had never suffered hardship. "Who would complain about having too much money?" Wendy Lark did not discuss this with him, but changed the subject,

"Second, you said that you only came into contact with your companions and the Lark family today. This is wrong. Have you forgotten about the fight today?" The officer who lost the silver was distracted by her.

Yes, when several people started fighting over steamed buns, they went over to stop them. The scene was chaotic and they were very close, so there was a high possibility that the purse was stolen.

Before he could figure it out, Wendy Lark pointed her finger at the crowd and said, "If I remember correctly, it's these people." There are members of the Lark family and also members of the Foster family, and they look quite destitute.

One of the men couldn't help but get angry and said, "Wendy Lark, you are slandering me." Wendy Lark narrowed her eyes slightly. This was a member of the Lark family, seemingly a very distant branch.

His family was quite poor, and his name was Hugh lark. "You were irrationally emotional, your head was slightly tilted, and you didn't dare look me in the face. This is a sign of a guilty conscience. The next thing will be pointing the finger at me."

"You're talking nonsense..." At the same time, Hugh lark's voice rang out, and everyone at the scene looked at his outstretched finger in astonishment.

(So magical…) everyone thought looking at the accurate deduction and the live example of things happening in front of them.

Hugh lark's mind went blank. He was stunned for a few seconds and then hurriedly withdrew his fingers. The atmosphere on the scene was very subtle. Lord Jeff had a strange expression on his face and waved his hand, "Go and search him."

At his command, his men rushed over and held Hugh lark down. Hugh lark struggled desperately, "Master Jeff, it really wasn't me. You must not believe her lies. Wendy Lark is cunning and treacherous. You'd be a fool to believe her..."

The officer turned a deaf ear to him and searched him thoroughly, finding five coins of silver. Hugh lark blushed, "This is my own money, officer you got it wrong..."

The official who lost the silver snatched it and looked at it carefully over and over again. Suddenly he shouted, "I found it. My silver has a mark. There is a word Wade here. Do you see it? My last name is Wade."

The evidence is irrefutable. Hugh lark collapsed to the ground at once. Wendy Lark walked over slowly, very slowly, but she exuded the dominance of a big boss who overwhelmed the whole audience.

She gently kicked Hugh lark, her tone as cold as ice, "You deliberately threw the empty purse here just to frame us. Tell me, why?"

Hugh lark closed his eyes, his body was shaking, but he clenched his teeth and remained silent. Wendy Lark looked down at him and said aggressively, "Let me guess, you are jealous that we have a mule cart and you don't."

""The shackles of my father and brother have been removed, but not from you."

"You are jealous that we have hot meals to eat, but you still fight for a steamed bun, scrambling for food like pigs and dogs." The hurtful words made Hugh lark completely lose his defense.

He roared angrily, "Why can you live a good life while I have to live like a dog?" Once these words were spoken, it was tantamount to admitting it. The officer who lost the silver was so angry that he kicked the man to the ground.

Wendy Lark couldn't help but laugh angrily, "I can only blame you for being stupid, foolish, and incompetent." This is not a reason for him to frame others. Hugh lark was angry, furious, and scared, and all his rage was directed at Wendy Lark.

"Wendy Lark, you are so vicious. You are not worried about scarcity but inequality. You are not worried about poverty but insecurity. You are also at fault..." Mary, no matter how good-tempered she is, could not tolerate this.

"The mule cart was exchanged for Wendy Lark's marriage certificate, and the hot dishes were exchanged for Wendy Lark's cooking skills. She is capable, but you are incompetent and don't work hard.

You only know how to be jealous and frame others. You deserve to be poor for the rest of your life." Mary said angrily to Hugh lark while holding the shoulders of her daughter Wendy.

"You..." Lark Hugh was so angry that he was shaking all over.

"How can you brag about selling out your daughter to make money?" This was too harsh to hear. Everyone in the second room changed their expressions. Only Wendy Lark was the most indifferent.

"People with dirty minds see everything as dirty. If a person's heart is bad, there is no cure." Wilson Lark held his head high, extremely proud. "Look, my daughter is so outstanding. Our whole family is blessed by her. I can give birth to a good daughter, but you don't!"
