CHAPTER ONE: REUNION
"Lillian, where did you say you are? I didn't hear you that time due to the noise on the road." Natalie Roberts an 18 year old freshman at imperial university said as she got down from her car.
"Oh! I didn't know. I said I was on my way to class. But now I'm currently in class so I can't talk now. Catch you later, bye." Lilian said and ended the call not even waiting for Nat to reply.
"The nerve of this girl." Nat said as she stepped down from her car.
Looking around, she sees unfamiliar people walking around and wonders if she would see someone she'd recognize. Just when she was about to enter her car again,a familiar face walks up to her.
"Natalie??" Chrisler, a tall handsome guy called her as she turned to look at him.
"Chrisler? Wow! I totally forgot you also attend imperial." Natalie said.
"My wife" (a name Chrisler loves to call her). "Won't you give me a hug? Or you've seen another husband and completely forgot about me."
"How could I forget you." Natalie said as she lightly hugged him.
"C'mon Nat. Is that all I get after not seeing you for almost a year?" Chrisler said faking a hurt expression.
"Chrisler, I really don't have your time. As you can see I just arrived Leesburg and I'm supposed to be resting but my cousin that I'm supposed to stay with is currently in class. So if you don't mind, lead the way to where I can sit." Natalie said.
"Alright. Follow me. But I'll be leaving you soon cause I'm having lectures in about thirty minutes." Chrisler said.
Chrisler led her to where he was staying with his friends before he spotted her.
"Guys, this is my middle school and high school classmate and most importantly my wife, Natalie. Natalie, my friends. Raymond, Mackenzie, and Conrad." Chrisler said as he pointed at them.
"Hey, did you forget that I'm also here." Nathan, another of Chrisler's friend who was also there said.
"This is my wife. And I can't risk introducing her to a player." Chrisler said giving him a sheepish smile.
Nathan then walks up to her but before he could get any closer, Chrisler blocked his way.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing??" Chrisler asked.
"Introducing myself since you wouldn't do it. Natalie, my name's Nathan." Nathan said as he struggled to talk to her since Chrisler was blocking his way.
"It's nice meeting you." He said before he finally gave up talking to her.
"Shoot. It's already time for class." Mackenzie suddenly said.
"What! I thought we had about thirty minutes more." Chrisler said.
"We did until the course rep decided to remind the lecturer about our presentation." Conrad said.
"Let's head in then." Mackenzie said and Chrisler turned to face Natalie and said
"Nat, I'm really sorry, but I have to go to class now. Maybe when I'm done we could grab a meal?"
"It's fine Chrisler, I can just look around while ur gone or stay my car." Natalie said.
"Chrisler??" Mackenzie called him.
"Later then." Chrisler said as he hurried away.
Nathan, who was still there as he was looking for his pen saw Natalie suddenly walk up to him.
"I'm really sorry about how Chrisler behaved earlier. It was really childish of him."
"It's fine actually. I mean, Chrisler is always like that. And besides it's not as if you're actually his wife." Nathan said.
Nat was about to reply, when Nathan's phone rang.
"Uhmm, maybe we can talk next time. I have to go. Bye." And he hurried away.
Natalie stood there facing the lane Nathan had followed and muttered to herself
"What a bunch of handsome friends." Then she decided to just head back to her car and wait for either Chrisler or Lily.
Just as she turned around, she collided head on with a strong pillar.
