Chapter 150 - Chapter 150 Dishwashing is a Beautiful Thing

Chapter 150 Dishwashing is a Beautiful Thing

In a restaurant, Seraph stares at the overflowing plates, unable to move.

The sound of dishes being lifted increases. "Please, take these plates..."

A waiter brings the plates to Seraph's table.

Seraph looks everywhere, and there are only plates everywhere. [What the hell is this day? Why are there so many plates? Did all those customers come to this restaurant?]

Seraph stands amidst the overflowing plates. [I've made up my mind. I'm not going to do this anymore. I originally said I didn't want to work, so that's the end of it. I shouldn't have said I wanted to work.

I'm full from breakfast, and I've been working for a day and a half. I'm resigning. In the meantime, I'm taking advantage of that Nata's absence.]

Seraph takes off his apron and walks out of the back of the restaurant, leaving behind a large number of plates. He hangs the apron and finds a note to write, "I resign from Seraph." It's placed on a chair.

Seraph leaves the restaurant, leaving behind a large number of plates.

Seraph walked out of the restaurant and towards the back.

Kisen asked, "What's next, junior? Where should we go?"

"Let's get away from this place first."

Seraph hadn't walked long before

Kisen quickly addressed Seraph, "Seraph, there's a thief up there at the window!"

Seraph looked out the window and saw a thief dressed in all black, carrying a wallet. It was a purse containing apples.

Seraph had used that wallet to help Nata sell fruit.

"I have a premonition. It's not good."

Seraph spoke quickly as he ran away from the thief who had climbed up the door and window.

"Senior, please boost my speed."

Kisen, though he didn't quite understand the situation, obeyed.

The roots gave Seraph strength. Whoosh!

Seraph ran away from the thief. [I should have been willing to wash dishes again. What a stroke of luck! I hadn't even gotten out to soak up the sun yet, and I was already sweating. Someone else was coming at me at a faster pace.]

Seraph felt sorry. If he'd known he'd seen this, he'd have done the dishes like usual.

Kisen asked Seraph, "Why are you running away, little bro? This guy looks so weak?"

"I don't want to make a big deal out of it, so let's not make a big deal out of it."

Kisen looked at the black-robed bandit chasing Seraph. "Even though you said that, that guy followed without leaving a trace. He's very skilled."

Seraph heard the bandit running and turned to look. [Why are you following? Why the hell are you following? Run away, you thief! Why are you following me!?]

Time passed. Seraph ran at a fast pace until he reached a secluded spot.

He received instructions from Kisen about what this man wanted.

The location was in a narrow alley.

Seraph stood in the middle of The smell of a man was unpleasant, the smell of garbage.

A man in black stood in front of Seraph.

Seraph asked why he was following me. "May I ask why you followed me? What made you follow me?"

The man in black lifted his cloak, revealing the face of a twenty-one-year-old woman with shoulder-length black hair named Cora.

"No, I just became interested in you. That's all."

"Then can I go? My beautiful sister has been following me for so long, and she's even showing her face. She can't possibly be trying to harm me, can she?"

[Following me for just this much, don't cause me more trouble, okay!?]

"You just came out of a restaurant, and when you saw a thief stealing money, you decided to run instead of reporting a thief stealing something. What kind of person are you?"

"I'm a person who prioritizes my own affairs, so I don't really interfere in other people's affairs. Can I go now? Or do you have something else to do?" "

Cora jumped and sat on the trash can, her feet shaking. "Interesting. You didn't even ask who I was. Well then, I'll be going, young man. Have a nice day."

Cora walked over, tossing her wallet around.

Seraph sighed. "It's safe. Who exactly is that guy?" [Is this guy crazy? I ran so hard, and it ended so easily!?]

Kisen spoke up. "Hmm Does it look like someone's face?

Seraph walked out of the narrow alley. Seraph walked out of the alley.

The air ahead was filthy, with people, their bodies dirty and their clothes torn, walking around everywhere.

The red light shone down, revealing their faces. Everyone wasn't perfect, they were low-class, in terms of looks.

Everyone had a scary expression. The people around here were extremely emaciated.

The houses were covered in rust.

The eyes of the people here stared at Seraph.

Some of them stopped to look at Seraph.

An old woman smiled at Seraph, her body emaciated, her eyes expressing something terrifying.

When the people saw Seraph, they stopped to look at him.

The old woman walked with a cane. Heading towards Seraph. "What is it? Little girl, are you lost? Come, come. This old woman will help you."

Another man's voice walked towards Seraph. "Don't go with this old woman. Come with me. Come, I'll help you."

A young woman's voice from afar ran towards Seraph. "Little girl, watch out for these people!"

A large crowd of people began to approach Seraph, eager to greet him. Their eyes were friendly. If Seraph tried to resist the urge to look at them that way,

But the reflection in Seraph's eyes was more like a murderer approaching him. If he were a child, he would have cried for a long time.

The sound of footsteps approaching was loud.

Seraph looked left and right, his face showing sadness. Seraph quickly turned and walked away. [This place is so suspicious. Get away quickly!]

Seraph hurried away, preparing to walk back the way he came.

Seraph didn't walk long. A large man, shirtless, bare-chested, revealing his massive muscles, was walking along.

A number of people followed him.

Seraph walked over and stopped.

The large man stopped, moving away from Seraph, and his gaze scanned the people blocking Seraph's path. The man was twenty-five years old, named Olin, with short black hair.

Olin looked at Seraph, who was standing still, holding a Kisen staff. "Lost, little one? Come, I'll take you home."

Olin smiled at Seraph.

The man behind Olin smiled eerily.

Seraph shook his head at Olin. "No need. My sister is waiting outside, so don't be shy."

Kisen warned Seraph. "Be careful, Seraph. That guy over there looks strong. Find something to talk to him about. If I give you the signal, jump up onto the roof. We're at a disadvantage."

Seraph nodded. [Life is so beautiful.] This is the guesswork of what life will bring. Is this really how it is? There's no guarantee that the path you've chosen is the right one. If I'd known, I'd have gone back to washing dishes. It would have been easier.]

"That guy over there, I know who you are."

Seraph spoke calmly, not showing any fear, just a hint of reluctance to get involved.

If he had a choice, Seraph would probably want to go back to washing dishes.
