Chapter 149 - Chapter 149: Alliance Contract

Chapter 149: Alliance Contract

At the Golden Castle, Rindel, who had just created the Erasure Potion, presented it to the Jedi.

"What do you think? This is what Master Zero recommended, so I successfully created this. The Erasure Potion, and upgraded it to Erasure?"

Seraph thought hard. [I don't remember ever ordering that. You always ask for the recipe for the potion. Don't say anything, or they'll ask, "Where's the recipe I asked for?"]

The Jedi looked at him suspiciously. "Should I take it?" He looked extremely suspicious. [Can't help it. Just take this."

"Then, I'll borrow it. I owe you a great debt. If I find anything on the list, I'll give it to you as compensation. This potion."

The Jedi accepted the potion. They chatted for a while, exchanging magical items, and then left.

Seraph remained seated quietly. They didn't say much. [No need for me.]

The five children bowed their heads to bid farewell.

Seraph warped back to his original spot.

Seraph sat in a chair, followed by Nata, who had walked away from his conversation with Alice.

Nata sat next to Seraph.

"Why are you so wounded? What did you do?"

Nata expressed doubt at Seraph's face, which was bleeding from banging his face against a plate.

"Just a small wound. Are you done with your business?"

"It's done. You can work tomorrow morning at this restaurant. The fruit needs to rest for now. I have urgent business to attend to."

"Understood."

Nata walked over to the waitress and gave her some instructions.

After giving her instructions, Nata began to walk out of the restaurant, accompanied by Alice, who was standing in front of the shop.

The two disappeared from Seraph's sight.

The waitress approached Seraph and handed him a single key, numbered 149. It was the room number. "This is my younger brother's room, so you can stay in that room. My sister will bring the food to you."

Seraph received the key with a puzzled expression, wondering why things were moving so quickly.

Seraph grabbed Kisen's staff and walked up to the room.

Kissen asked with concern, "Little brother, are you okay? Why did you suddenly faint!?"

Seraph shook his head, acting like someone who wasn't seriously ill. "It's nothing. It's just my personal illness. It's a minor matter. I'm going to go rest in my room for a while."

In another location, Jedai, who had teleported back to the original location, was sitting on the grass, a vortex-shaped mask on his face.

Jedai looked around. It was a cave. The surroundings were pitch black. Rain was falling violently, raining from the sky, falling onto the ground.

The air was cold It appeared.

Jade looked at the bottle of deodorizing solution in his hand.

The Vortex Mask asked Jade. "How was it when you met that person? Did you find a cure?"

Jade held up the bottle of medicine for the mask in front of him to see.

"Even though I don't know how effective it is, at least for now, it's a relief."

"What? Suddenly, a white light appeared in your hand, and there's this medicine??"

"I received it from Mr. One. Forget about it for now. I'll use this magic potion to erase my existence. That way, those clans won't be able to hunt me down."

"It was already unbelievable. At this age, you're already dreaming of ruling an entire family. Where did you get your confidence? Are you out of your mind, kid?"

"Huh? Interesting. I don't like boring stories. I want a challenge to see how far I can go, to see my abilities blossom. That's why I made a contract with you. I want power. Give me your power, I'll show you. These organizations are useful. They'll use anything they can to achieve their own goals.

"Heh heh, this is so out of this world. Their ambition is to control the entire world. It's crazy, but I love it so much. Our goals may be different. I want to reach level nine.

So I'll use you as my identity to help me. As for you, I want to rule the world. I'll lend you my power. We'll rely on each other until the day I die. Who will succeed first, you or me?"

Jade took the potion and finished it.

Footsteps entered Jade's cave. It was a large man in a black robe.

Jade stood up, wearing a mask. "So late. If the others haven't arrived yet, you've come at the wrong time."

The large man spoke angrily. "A traitor to the family. Can't be allowed to live. A child with a bright future, yet he did something like that. How sad."

Jade smiled slyly. "I received the potion." He's recovered. Can you handle it, Masked One?

"Easy, little one. Who do you think I am?"

The mask emitted a yellow glow. "Ommm, I'm your master. Believe me, I'm your master."

After the mask finished speaking, the large man fell to his knees.

"I can command anything, my master."

Jade smiled. "Evil. Isn't this a cheating ability?"

"Look at me. My words are evil. Those with weak souls will be commanded by me. I command heaven to descend. I command hell to ascend. I can kill the gods.

People cannot disobey me. I am my deadly words. Kill yourself. It's disturbing to my vision."

The large man in front of him raised his sword and plunged it into his own stomach. Smack!

The man's body died, and the sword in his hand was severed. Boom!

The man's head was severed, and red blood was continuously flowing out.

Jedai walked over the man's corpse. The sound of the rain drowned out his footsteps.

In a certain place, in the morning, Seraph woke up from his sleep.

Seraph sat up on his bed, his expression still lazily.

"Good morning, my dear. Welcome to the dark night."

Seraph got up and went downstairs to eat.

Seraph walked downstairs and sat at the counter.

An old woman stood behind Seraph.

"Are you awake? Little Nata told me that the boy wouldn't be going home today, so you should work here today. When you're done with breakfast, go help the people in the kitchen."

Seraph nodded at the old woman. [You're so hard at using others. Whatever. You can work here. At least tomorrow morning I can go. If I pass ten, I hope they'll give me a reward. Or maybe I should sell my magical items. No, no, I have to get rid of the Kisen staff. This is an unchangeable goal.]

Seraph finished eating, followed the Kisen staff with him, and went to wash dishes in the kitchen.

At a certain location, Nata and Alice were walking, heading somewhere. "So, what do you say? Why did you send us, the elite, to hunt down Beethoven?"

Alice led the way. "The sect reported that they killed Beethoven without Elder Fengwen knowing."

"Beethoven? The tenth of the Firenine Sect. They even let us two go out of the coffin. What an humiliation!"

"This mission is even more dangerous than it looks. Be careful. The others are busy. There's only you, me, and the unemployed."

Alice walked over to two horses.

Nata looked at the two horses. "Don't tell me you're riding to the Silent Forest?"

"Is there a problem? It's good to save some energy. You tend to be careless, so this won't be an easy mission. If we don't handle it properly, the damage could be severe enough to destroy the village and the sect. That's why they sent us two to investigate.

Nata jumped onto her horse. "Come on, for me, number one, to come with you, number two, like this. This isn't normal."

Alice and Nata rode their horses, heading toward the silent forest.
