Eighteen years ago, the Blood Creek Pack was attacked by a neighboring pack and lost half the lives of its members.

 

Xavier, the current Alpha of Blood Creek Pack, was six years old when this attack took place. He lost his family and close friends along with his best friend, Daphne, who he thinks died in the attack.

 

What happened when he goes back for revenge and finds out that Daphne is still very much alive? Also, she happens to be his mate and he just killed her adoptive father.

I hated the fact that this man standing before Xavier and myself kept staring at me even when he had his date beside him.

My gaze fell on the lady who was beside him and I knew she wasn't finding it quite amusing that her man's eyes were all over me.


He became embarrassed the moment I called him out for staring at me and his woman couldn't help but feel jealous that her man fancied someone else apart from her.


"We'll…. we'll take our leave now Alpha Xavier." The man known as Declan mumbled to Xavier before walking away with the lady tagging along and making a fuss over his incessant stare at another woman who clearly wasn't her.


He thinks Xavier had a great taste for picking me to go with him to this event with him? What insolence of that man to think we ladies are just some objects to be displayed up to their taste?!
