They arrive late in the afternoon to find their friends sitting at the front porch.
Aldrin parks his bike and helps Theressa with the bags.
"What took you so long? I already had the idea to conduct a search party for you both".
Ariel says.
"Stop panicking Ari, we're fine" Aldrin says.
"And why are you suddenly quiet" Ariel ask Theressa.
Theressa clamps her lips together and sighs.
"I'll be inside if you need me, I'm starving" Aldrin says carrying the bags inside.
"Huh. He's suddenly acting gentlemanly" Max says as he watch Aldrin enters the house.
They all turn towards Theressa but the later shrugs going inside the house with all of them following behind.
They all had lunch at the dinning table and dispersed to their rooms after clearing the table.
Inside Leen and Ariel room, Leen is sitting on the mirror table working on some of his projects. However, Ariel phone at the side of the table keeps on receiving message making it ding in a loud sound. It was so hard to ignore. Leen picks up the phone to turn it off when a message caught his eyes. He frowns tapping on the message.
"She doesn't have a password" he mumbles as he scrolls through the chat his gaze darkening.
"Liam Johnson" he grits his teeth standing up from the chair going to find Ariel but the door opens and Ariel comes In smiling but seeing Leen's gloomy expression makes her smile vanish.
Leen toss her phone on the bed and jammed his hands into his pocket. She walks over picking her phone.
"Do you mind explaining Ari?"
Reading the messages Ariel gave pales. She takes quick strides towards him, but Leen moves away from her.
"I'm sorry you had to find out this way but it's not what you think it is" she says shaking her head.
"And what do you think I think it is Ari? Li has been courting you, you rejected, fine! I'm not annoyed because of that. You're really beautiful Ari and other guys will want to court you. I'm annoyed because he has been threatning you because of your rejection and you didn't see it fit to tell me? I'm your boyfriend Ari, we see everyday, stay in the same house, sleep on the same bed you couldn't tell me?, we talk everyday Ari". He walks closer to Ariel clutching her shoulders in a tight grip.
"Do you know who Liam Johnson is? Jes not supposed to be in college anymore. The only reason you see him around is because he misses out on a year and didn't pass some course and he came back to re write them....."
