I FINALLY RESUMED
The week went on with not much expect going to places with both parent, my father introduce me to some of his friends same with my Mom.
It was already Monday I got up quiet earlier than usual prepare myself as I walked downstairs and also grace has been a great companion for me since we both resumed today she was probably at school by now, as I walked downstairs I was greeted with a familiar aroma Aunt Mercy special treat
"Wow! It been a while since I last tasted your special treat" I said [ Aunt Mercy is one of the best chef from mom's restaurant before she started working at our house, it was even said that the dish won countless awards due to it unique taste] so I sat down waiting for breakfast to be served after I was done I grabbed my motorbike while my dad insisted on having the driver take me to school but I rejected his offer and drove off soon I arrived at the school gate, I drove in and quickly found a free parking space immediately I got off I stared at the school building with enormous student hanging around in the building I took a deep breath and walked in, as soon as I entered a few student approached me
"Hey, must be new" a girl said
"Yeah, I am" I replied
"I'm Ella, and these are Daniella, Sam, and Mike" she said as she pointed to them respectively
"Hi, I'm John Davis but just call me Andrew" I said with a smile
They walked me in and luckily we were batch mate (same class) and we started talking we walked to an empty abandoned classroom which they claim to be their lair (that took me by shock) we settled they gave full detail about themselves
"What about you aren't you gonna talk about yourself" mike said casually as all eyes were on me
"Okay, um…." I said as my phone rang cutting my speech
"Hey dad" I said as I picked the call
"Hey are you at school already" my dad asked
"Yeah, I am" I said
"Where are you" he asked as I told him the class and were it was located
"Why are you asking though" I asked him
"Nothing the principal was looking for you that why" he replied as I soon realized that I haven't gone to see her/ inform her of my arrival
"Oh, I didn't remember but I'll go now" I said
"Oh, okay I'll get going now" I said as I hung up
"You are here Mr Davis" a voice said as I turned to look
"Good morning ma" I greeted as I realized it was the principal who just entered
"I see you are getting along well with the student" she said addressing Mike, Sam, Ella, and Daniella (whose face were as stiff as anything you could describe)
"Shall I show you to your new class" she said
"No need to bother the principal with such petty things" I said
"it would be my honor Mr Davis" she said
"Thank you ma" I said hoping to end the conversation
"Okay Mr Davis, please you can call me if you need anything" she said as she walked out of the room, I turned my face back to them (mike and the rest) looking like they had seen a walking ghost
"Ehm, ehm..." Ella cleared her throat
