ken, starts by finding essential which are important for livening, Going by every house one by one he gets little bit of stuffs but they were not that much useful and most of them were destroyed but he didn't give up he is still trying if get something but at the end he get nothing and most of all he drained his all energy.
Now, slowly, it was getting dark, and Ken was wandering around in search of water to regain some energy. The entire city was deserted there was no light, no people, and no sign of water anywhere. As he moved through the empty streets, Ken suddenly heard a faint sound, something that resembled flowing water. Without hesitation, he followed the sound, hoping it would lead him to a source. After a few minutes of walking, he finally spotted a river in the distance.
Wasting no time, Ken ran toward it. The river water was murky and dark, which wasn't surprising since this was a world he came from a long-abandoned city filled with shadows and silence. Despite the water's appearance, Ken didn't even pause to think. He was extremely thirsty and completely drained. Without another thought, he bent down and drank from the river, hoping it would give him the strength to keep moving.
Once he had enough to drink, Ken heard a sound coming from behind, like some kind of conversation was happening nearby. He felt a rush of happiness finally, he was going to meet someone. But his joy didn't last long. When Ken reached the place, he saw a child, around 12 years old, being kidnapped. Seeing this, Ken immediately thought of saving the child, believing it could be his chance to change his chance to finally do something meaningful for someone else.
"Hey you, stop there leave that child.."
Ken shouted at them and ran to save the girl. For two to three minutes, he put up a good fight, giving it everything he had. But slowly, his vision began to fade it was a side effect of the unhygienic water he had drunk without thinking. His body grew weaker by the second, and eventually, he was mercilessly beaten by them. In the end, they took him along with the girl.
After sometime when side effect of that water was almost gone he opened his eyes and notice that somehow his body is not able to move like someone has tied him up and he was also not able to see anything because there was pitch darkness everywhere around him. suddenly she broke the silence with hesitant words
"Um... M-Mister... are you there?"
At first, Ken was shocked by the voice, but then he realized it was the girl who had been kidnapped. Slowly, it sank in and he tried to speak to her.
" yes, i'm here with you, are you ok did you get hurt somewhere"
"No, i'm fine. thanks to you mister for trying to save me and also sorry because you also got caught while trying to help me."
ken started thinking without saying a single word.
"Why is this happening? Didn't he say this world was peaceful? If it's supposed to be a place where everything is good, then why is someone getting kidnapped here? I mean, ever since I came to this world, nothing good has happened to me. Did he lie to me? Is everything really going to end like this...?"
" Mister, are you there ...?"
Ken began to lose himself again, but after hearing those words, he came back to his senses and decided not to give up hope so easily. Then, he looked at the girl and started a conversation by asking her name.
" what's your name ? and how did you got caught by them?"
"I'm Mei… and I don't know much about what's going on. I was just at the park when those guys came up to me and said my dad had told them to take me home. They told me to get into the car… and after that, they brought me here."
"mei, you don't have to get scared i'm here i will definitely get you out of here safely."
ken, decided that no matter what happens to him but he will definitely save mei. later than with some courage ken started shouting very loudly...
" please...,is there someone please help us, somebody"
His voice was so loud that even the kidnappers got frustrated. Within a minute, they stormed into the room, switched on the lights, and began pummeling him."You scum bastard! If staying alive means anything to you, then shut your mouth, you useless piece of dead weight!"
"Ohh... you understood that fast, huh?"
But rather then getting shut he started shouting for help even more loudly which made them more angry and they began hitting him even more brutally. Now ken filled with blood all over his body , after getting beaten up by them ken is in his own thought...
" How did it come to this? isn't it supposed to be a peaceful world where everyone care about each other, then why? what i did wrong -hun..h? I believed in you i did what you told me but at the end i was lied to again. There's no such a thing as peace or good people they don't even exist in this whole universe . only people with greater in power have good life and for people like me there's nothing in this world..."
" Just believe in me "
"Wha–?!"
Then he dropped unconscious because of that brutal beating.
"Huh...? Where am I...?"
Docter .... doctor he regained consciousness attendant tell to doctor that the patient ken has regained full cognitive function. later then doctor came, "how are you feeling boy" doctor asked ken.
"You're in the hospital. You've been unconscious for a while.Now it looks like fine but before we get to other tests you need to rest for sometime and one more thing there's some who want to meet you!"
ken is in complete shock after hearing that someone wants to meet him because in this new world he still don't know anyone and most of all he don't know how he get into this hospital. ken have lots of questions to ask.
shff... shff...someone who looked to be in his forties enters the room," Now, how are you feeling mister? I didn't wanted to disturb you but I'd like to thank you".
"thank you!? but for what?"
"...? I think you don't remember clearly, but you tried to save my daughter and ended up getting this badly injured. I'm really sorry about that."
"No... no, you don't have to. But sir, if you don't mind, can you tell me what exactly happened and how I ended up here?"
"I don't know much about it, but when we got there after receiving information that my daughter might be at that place we rescued her. Then she told me that you tried to save her, and because of that, you got hurt. That's why I brought you here… so that I could at least repay you in some way."
ken is in complete shock that after all of this he is still alive and completely fine then he remembers those words ,"just believe in me ", .
" thank you for saving me , i think you was not wrong about that when you said "good people still exist and you don't have to give up on your life just because of some Wrongdoers.""
"If you don't mind, my daughter would like to see you as well."
Mei entered the room, walked over to Ken, and said, "Thank you for saving me." Then she looked at him with concern and asked, "Are you okay?"
" As you can see i'm completely fine mei ,but are you okh?"
"Hmm... yeah, I'm totally fine."
Ken felt genuinely happy that he was able to help someone. After that, he and Mei talked for a while. Then, the doctor entered the room and told Ken he needed to rest. Mei and her father quietly left the room to let him recover.
" I didn't know that helping someone can be this good, in my past i never had any chance. Because everyone in the kingdom thought getting help for me would be heardel for them but in this world did help someone. I'm not useless anymore i will definitely change myself...
