Chapter 80 - A Natural Ravenclaw

Just as the young Ravenclaws were preparing to rescue the people, Ron, who was flying the car outside, suddenly noticed that the car under him seemed to be starting to get a little out of control. The car began to inexplicably shake and would occasionally steer itself, as if it had a mind of its own and wanted to do some thrilling flips.

At this moment, Ron, who was in the driver's seat, was afraid to hold the steering wheel because his hand had just been twisted, and now his wrist was aching. However, Harry, who was sitting next to him, didn't seem to notice Ron's strange behavior. He just thought that the car's movements were all Ron's doing, and he reminded him fearfully, "Ron, drive steadily!"

"I want to drive steadily, but…" Ron slowly turned his head, his face a grimace. "I think my dad might have had a tiny bit of a technical problem when he was modifying this car."

"What?!" Harry asked, confused. Before he could understand what Ron meant, the car suddenly started to tumble in mid-air, instantly tossing the two people inside around.

"Ahhh!" Harry yelled in terror from the passenger seat, protecting his head. "Ron! Think of something!!!"

"I'm trying! But I can't do it!!!" Ron tried frantically to control the steering wheel, but his small arms were no match for the mechanical force.

And just then, Harry's door was suddenly flung open. Since he wasn't wearing a seatbelt, he was caught off guard and was thrown out of the car.

"Harry!!!" Ron shrieked, feeling a chill run down his spine. He thought Harry had fallen out of the car and died…

But just as he was about to despair, a broomstick suddenly flew out from under the car. The young Ravenclaw on it was pulling hard on Harry's clothes, then made a tumbling motion, tossing Harry up and then landing him firmly on the broom.

Ron breathed a huge sigh of relief when he saw that his friend was safe. At the same time, a loud knocking sound suddenly came from the car window next to him, and he immediately turned to look. Outside the window, a young Ravenclaw was riding a broomstick, tapping on the window. Ron quickly lowered the window.

"Turn off the engine!!!" the young Ravenclaw shouted over the strong winds.

"I can't!" Ron shook his head in fear. "If I turn it off, the car will fall… Whoa!!!" Before he could finish his sentence, the car once again lost control and did a horizontal spin, almost hitting the young Ravenclaw next to the car.

After the car stabilized again, the young Ravenclaw carefully flew back up and shouted, "If you keep losing control like this, we can't save you! Trust us! Stop the car!!!" With that, he pointed in the distance.

Ron looked in the direction he was pointing and saw several other Ravenclaw Quidditch players on broomsticks, wands at the ready, around the car in the distance. Ron was instantly moved by the sight. He looked at the small car in front of him, which was starting to shake violently again, and with a determined heart, he turned off the car's engine. But then he felt a strong sense of weightlessness and yelled in fear, "Help me!!!"

And just as Ron thought his life was hanging by a thread, the young Ravenclaws flying around the car suddenly pointed their wands at the car and shouted the incantation: "Wingardium Leviosa!"

The car was abruptly stopped in mid-air, and Ron was also hit hard by the impact. But just then, a young Ravenclaw who wasn't on a broomstick flew to the side of the car, pulled a dizzy Ron out, and flew him toward the train.

The young wizards on the train, who had been watching the events unfold, all cheered when they saw that the people had been successfully rescued. At the same time, the Ravenclaw Quidditch players flying outside the train also began to pull the car toward Hogwarts as planned.

Two young Ravenclaws successfully brought Harry and Ron to the window. After Fred and George pulled them in, they immediately said in unison, "Welcome back, brave champions!!!"

But Percy, the prefect, was not so good-tempered. He rushed over and started a tirade, which was mainly directed at Ron. "Ron Weasley, you idiot! How dare you take the car from home…"

Then began a tirade of who-knows-how-long. The young wizards gathered in the train corridor to watch the show, and Hermione breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that the two were safe. However, just as she was about to go find Victor, she turned and saw a strange girl had already taken her original seat and was sitting very close to Victor, laughing and talking with him.

CRACK…

A strange sound, like something breaking, suddenly rang out. Neville looked up in confusion, looking around, and then asked Seamus Finnigan, "Seamus, did you just hear a strange sound? Like something broke."

"No," Seamus shook his head and replied. "You must have heard wrong."

"Maybe…" Neville scratched his head, then continued to stand on his tiptoes to watch the show in the carriage.

The young wizards were all gathered around to watch the commotion, but on the other side, Luna had somehow made her way through the crowd in the corridor and was now standing in front of Victor.

"Hello, Victor Dreyar!"

"Hello, Luna!"

The two of them greeted each other just like they had the first time they met. Luna walked forward, holding a stack of magazines, and tilted her head, staring intently into Victor's eyes. "Your eyes are still very clear, just like mine."

"A Ravenclaw's eyes must always be clear, mustn't they?" Victor replied with a smile. "Are you here to give me the new issue of The Quibbler?"

"Yes…" Luna said softly, then took out a brand-new copy of The Quibbler from her arms and handed it over. "All of Tom's interesting stories are in it."

"Thank you." Victor reached out and took the magazine, but didn't immediately flip through it.

Luna slowly turned her head and looked out the carriage window at the ever-changing scenery. She suddenly said, "I hope the train can go a little faster."

"Why?" Victor asked, puzzled.

"I'm hungry. I hope there's pudding tonight," Luna replied, somewhat irrelevantly, then turned her gaze back to Victor's eyes. "My dad hopes to know which house I'm in as soon as possible."

"Then I think you can send an owl right now. You're definitely going to be in Ravenclaw!"

"Why?" There was a hint of confusion in Luna's eyes. "Why are you so sure?"

"Because of this!" Victor answered confidently, then took out Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem from his space and placed it between the two of them. "Want to try it on?"

"I feel like something is attracting me." Luna looked at the mysterious diadem in front of her with curiosity, and her hand started to reach out involuntarily. The moment Luna's finger touched the diadem, the gem in the middle of it suddenly started to emit a dark-blue light. This phenomenon immediately attracted the attention of the young wizards on the train.

"Is that Ravenclaw's diadem?!"

"How is that possible? That girl seems to be a first-year!"

"It has nothing to do with whether she's a first-year. Did you forget what the Lord of Wisdom said? A person with a clear mind can be accepted by the diadem!"

"I'm so jealous. A natural Ravenclaw?! She's the first person to be accepted by the diadem besides the Lord of Wisdom!"

"…"

The young Ravenclaws were discussing in shock.

But at this moment, Luna felt her mind was clearer than ever before. She felt her vision was much clearer, her perception of her surroundings was more acute, and many problems that she couldn't figure out before were now gradually making sense.

"Why do I feel like there's something inside the diadem…" Luna slowly pulled back her finger. "It seems to be welcoming me."

"The secret of the diadem's ability to enhance wisdom is actually just a way to constantly use the lessons and experiences of previous people to prevent one from making the same mistakes repeatedly," Victor explained. "But a person with a muddled mind can easily be disturbed and influenced by the memories stored in the diadem, and thus go down an unpredictable path."

"So when Rowena Ravenclaw first created the diadem, she specifically added an ancient spell to it. If the person holding the diadem does not have a clear mind, the diadem will refuse to display its abilities."

"But conversely, this ancient spell will also protect the owner of the diadem, keeping their mind clear so they will not be influenced by the memories of their predecessors."

"That's very interesting," Luna said in admiration, staring at the diadem in front of her. "I did feel a lot of things just now, but I didn't immediately accept them."

"Those were the memories and lessons of our predecessors," Victor continued to explain with a smile, then placed the diadem on Luna's head. "Congratulations. From now on, you are the new owner of the Ravenclaw diadem."

That's right, he had decided to give the Ravenclaw diadem to the girl in front of him.

Luna was a little stunned by the sudden gift. After a while, she tilted her head and asked, "Why?"

"Mostly because it's a woman's accessory, and I'm a man, so I can't wear it," Victor said with a scratch of his head, a hint of resentment in his voice.

Was that really the reason?!!!

When the young wizards around them heard Victor's reason, they all felt a wave of frustration in their hearts.

This was Ravenclaw's diadem! It was a relic of one of the four founders of Hogwarts, Rowena Ravenclaw! It was a sacred artifact of the Ravenclaw house!!! Even if you were going to give it to someone else, you should at least come up with a more grandiose reason. You're making the diadem seem so cheap!

But then again, why did this scene look so familiar?! The young Ravenclaws then silently recalled the scene from a few months ago when the Bronze Tree Palace was named.
