Although he didn't know what had made Hermione so flustered, Victor closed his book and let her in, and at the same time said to the young Ravenclaw behind her, "It's fine, let her in! You can go do your own thing!"
The young Ravenclaw nodded respectfully, "Yes, my lord!" Then he turned and left.
Victor watched the young Ravenclaw leave with a helpless sigh. Then he took out a new chocolate cake, placed it on the table, and asked, "So, what's the big rush?"
"Harry and Ron are missing! I've searched every carriage and I can't find them!" Hermione said, closing the compartment door behind her, and then sat down opposite Victor. "So I suspect they never even got on the train!"
"So what's so strange about that?" Victor shrugged, not at all surprised. "Aren't they always late? It's their tradition."
"If I hadn't used my power... I mean, my persuasion skills during the summer, Ron would have dared to sleep in until noon."
This was actually a reference to Harry and Ron being late for class so often. Harry was a bit better before and was a well-behaved boy. But for some reason, he was gradually led astray by Ron, who was in turn influenced by his two brothers. It really was a case of bad company corrupting good character.
Seeing Victor's nonchalant expression, Hermione immediately got up and sat next to him, then continued to speak. "You don't understand! That's not the reason!" She was gesticulating with her hands as she spoke.
"Half a month before school started, Harry's aunt wouldn't feed him dinner, so he moved to Ron's house to stay for a while. You knew about this, didn't you?"
"Uh-huh. Of course, I knew about this," Victor nodded. "I even said I would have to pick them up from two different places. But what does this have to do with them being missing?"
"Before, in the Room of Requirement, Harry said that before he moved to Ron's house, he suddenly met a very strange house-elf in his room. The house-elf warned Harry that Hogwarts was in danger and advised him not to return to school! And now, so coincidentally, Harry and Ron have both gone missing right before they were supposed to go back to Hogwarts. Don't you think it's strange that these two things happened together? They might have run into some kind of danger!"
Hermione was chattering away, but Victor was silently sighing, The netizens were right! Hermione was now acting like a mother who had lost her children and was very anxious. When he used to scroll through short videos, some Harry Potter fans would comment that Hermione was like a mother to Harry and Ron, her two silly boys. Now it seemed that this statement had some factual basis.
However, with Hermione's reminder, he seemed to remember that something like this did happen in the original story. In the original story, Chamber of Secrets, he remembered that a house-elf did appear, and its name seemed to be Dobby. It also seemed to be because of him that Harry and Ron weren't able to get on the Hogwarts Express.
Thinking of this, some of the plot points hidden deep in his memory gradually surfaced. Victor consciously looked out the window, and his pupils instantly turned into Eagle Eye.
Sure enough, a small, old Ford Anglia was flying wildly toward the express train in the distance.
"Oh, ho, ho," Victor let out a gleeful sound. These two little lions were in big trouble. At the very least, Ron was definitely going to get a good scolding from Mrs. Weasley.
In reality, these two fools could have stayed at the Burrow and waited for a Hogwarts professor to pick them up, or waited for Mrs. Weasley or Mr. Weasley to take them. But they had surprisingly chosen the stupidest option and had driven out Mr. Weasley's privately modified flying car.
Just then, Hermione, who had been rambling on, noticed that Victor was being silent and thought he wasn't paying attention to her. She immediately said angrily, "Victor! Are you even listening to me?!"
"I am! I am!" Victor replied helplessly, then reached out and pinched the little witch's cheek. "Don't be so anxious. Have a little something sweet first!" Then he took a piece of cake and put it in Hermione's mouth.
As the sweetness hit her tongue, the little witch's face instantly flushed a little, because Victor was feeding her from the plate he had just been eating from.
"Don't worry, those two idiots are fine, but that might not be the case later," Victor said, stroking Hermione's head like he was petting a cat.
"How do you know?" Hermione asked with a confused frown.
"You'll see for yourself." With that, Victor moved aside. Hermione, with a face full of questions, leaned against the window to look outside and immediately saw a deluxe Ford Anglia 105E flying car vying for a spot with the Hogwarts Express. The question marks on her head instantly turned into countless exclamation points!!!!
She recognized the car. When she was a guest at the Weasleys' house during the summer, Ron's father, Mr. Weasley, had introduced her to his proud creation more than once and had also asked her for suggestions for modifications.
"How are they out there?!!!" Hermione exclaimed.
"Because they're little lions," Victor replied as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. At the same time, he happily stood up, opened the compartment door, and suddenly shouted, "Ravenclaw!"
Bang! Bang! Bang!
As soon as Victor's voice faded, a dozen doors opened, and the young Ravenclaws swarmed out into the corridor.
"That car outside, find a way to get the people inside out, and don't damage the car!"
The young Ravenclaws looked out the window in unison. Although they didn't understand what was going on, they all replied in a chorus, "Understood! The Lord of Wisdom has spoken!"
The Lord of Wisdom has said: The truly valuable wisdom at any time comes from the process of how something develops, not from the result.
Closing the compartment door again, Hermione stared at Victor with a dumbfounded expression and asked, "Why would you do that? You could have just waved your hand and solved the problem!"
"No reason, it's just simply interesting," Victor said with a harmless smile. This was the first time Hermione had felt the mischievous side of the person in front of her.
Meanwhile, in the carriage area.
The young Ravenclaws were gathered together, discussing rescue plans. To be honest, getting the people out wasn't difficult; the hard part was ensuring the car's safety. After all, not a single person in all of Ravenclaw, let alone all of Hogwarts, could drive a car, let alone a modified magical flying car. So after a detailed discussion, the young Ravenclaws came up with three plans:
Rescue Plan One: Send a few young Ravenclaws who could use flying magic to pick up Harry and Ron, then find a way to secure the car onto the train and keep it there until they reached the Hogwarts station.
However, just as the young Ravenclaws were about to start discussing this plan, the train suddenly drove into a dark tunnel. This immediately revealed a fatal flaw in the plan: the train had to go through several tunnels before reaching Hogwarts. Using a method that involved securing the flying car on top of the train would definitely destroy the car and keep the people inside alive.
So, this plan was a no-go!
Rescue Plan Two: After rescuing the people, simply use Transfiguration to turn the car into a small toy to be retrieved later. It was a simple and crude method.
But this plan had two problems: no one in Ravenclaw could guarantee that the flying car could be perfectly returned to its original state after being completely Transfigured. In short, the car might not be able to be returned, or only a small part of it could. So, to ensure the integrity of the car (for the sake of the old man), this plan was also a no-go!
Rescue Plan Three, which was the most reliable one: After rescuing Harry and Ron, turn off the car's engine, and then have several people work together to use a Levitation Charm to directly pull it back to Hogwarts.
In the past, this method would have been very difficult to carry out because even a very skilled wizard with the Levitation Charm would have a hard time lifting a car that weighed several tons.
But luckily, because of Victor, every Ravenclaw was now a master of the Levitation Charm. When it came to this charm alone, no one could beat the young Ravenclaws, not even the Aurors!
Although this plan was more reliable, it still had one small problem: it would be dark for about an hour before they reached Hogwarts.
Traveling in the dark, it would be easy to get lost even with the express train as a guide. So after further discussion, the young Ravenclaws decided that before nightfall, they would send a few Quidditch players to follow the train and use magic to illuminate the way, guiding the young Ravenclaws in the sky who were tasked with pulling the small car.
And so, with the final revisions, Plan Three was adopted.
