Chapter 70 - The Bronze Tree Palace

Rowena Ravenclaw's mission was complete. She turned to look at Victor, who was still absorbing her legacy, then scanned the room and the little eagles who were looking at her with admiration. She began to speak.

"My mission is complete. I hope you will all inherit the Ravenclaw qualities of being clever, sharp, ambitious, calm, composed, gentle, firm, patient, knowledgeable, precise, superb, and elegant. I shall turn into a gentle breeze and soar with the ravens in the blue sky to bless you all."

"We will follow your teachings!" all the Ravenclaws said in unison. At this moment, they seemed to display a unique sense of unity and honor, just like Slytherin.

After giving her final blessing, Rowena turned and looked at her daughter with a gentle expression. "Helena, my time is running out."

The Gray Lady quickly got up and flew over, taking her mother's hand, and then passed through the bookshelves in the room, disappearing to an unknown place. However, everyone felt that the mother and daughter probably had a lot to say to each other.

Victor continued to lie unconscious on Penelope's lap. He could feel what was happening around him, but he couldn't afford to be distracted at all!

The legacy of Rowena Ravenclaw's wisdom and knowledge was composed of two parts: the wisdom from the diadem's ability and the knowledge she had stored in the diadem before she died. But seriously, wasn't this amount of knowledge a bit too much? How many books did this Hogwarts founder read during her lifetime?!

Victor's mind was now filled with various knowledge and experiences regarding charms, alchemy, jinxes, runes, and souls. He took a quick look and found that after all these years, the magic mastered by wizards in Rowena Ravenclaw's era was slightly outdated and more complicated compared to the magic of the present. But that was fine, as there was still a lot of useful knowledge.

In addition to the lost magic and a large number of spells, possibly due to the unique historical context of that time, a lot of the magic that Rowena Ravenclaw had mastered was war magic.

What was war magic?

It was large-scale, destructive magic used for battles!

For example, among Rowena Ravenclaw's knowledge, there was a spell that could release a large cloud of highly corrosive mist to kill enemies.

This type of magic was a treasure among treasures for Victor! With Origin, as long as he could analyze and reconstruct these spells, his power could definitely reach a new level…

He continued to absorb the Ravenclaw legacy until nightfall.

Victor slowly opened his eyes, and the first thing that came into view was a bronze color, and there was a faint fragrance in his nostrils. Feeling the softness that was pressed against his face, Victor's head unconsciously nudged forward, which caused Penelope, who was holding him in her lap, to blush.

Penelope's face flushed a bit. She had never noticed that the person on her lap was such a little pervert! She then reached out and gently pulled Victor's ear, saying with a mix of shyness and anger, "Get up, you're awake!"

Seeing that he couldn't pretend anymore, Victor shot up like a fish leaping out of water. He wasn't a pervert, he just had a low resistance to beauty!

After letting out a deep breath, Victor saw that Professor Flitwick and the little eagles around him were all looking at him with hopeful eyes.

"Thank you, everyone, for your hard work!" Victor stood up and thanked them. He could tell that Professor Flitwick and the little eagles had been staying up for him for most of the day and probably hadn't even had dinner yet.

"You're finally awake, my boy!" Professor Flitwick excitedly ran over to Victor. He was still wearing the flying shoes that Victor had given him for Christmas. "My boy, did you receive the Ravenclaw legacy?" Flitwick looked impatient, and so did the little eagles. They had been waiting for most of the day, so they hoped it wasn't all for nothing! But it clearly wasn't.

Victor smiled and nodded. "Yes, I have received the Ravenclaw legacy!"

This simple answer instantly made everyone in the room burst into joy.

"Yes! Yes!!"

"Long live Ravenclaw!!!"

"Long live!!!"

In their excitement, the little eagles swarmed around Victor, cheering loudly and tossing him up into the air.

Over the years, Hogwarts, as the oldest magic school in Europe, had been in gradual decline. Beauxbatons, Durmstrang, Ilvermorny, and Uagadou, and other emerging magic schools had risen all over the world, putting Hogwarts, which once held the title of "the best magic school in the world," in a very awkward position.

But now, everything was completely different!

After a thousand years, the Ravenclaw legacy had reappeared in the world. This meant that the ravens of Hogwarts had completely reawakened, and their dark wings of wisdom would fall from the sky to lead Hogwarts to the top of the wizarding world once again.

After the extreme excitement, the little eagles put Victor down. Professor Flitwick stepped forward again and asked, "My boy, can you tell us what exactly Lady Rowena Ravenclaw's legacy was?"

"Professor, please don't get too excited." Victor reached out to soothe Professor Flitwick, then scanned the little eagles around him. "The truth is, Lady Rowena passed on all of her knowledge to me. As a member of Ravenclaw, I should share this knowledge with everyone. But no matter who it is, especially for Ravenclaws, we should never gain knowledge without working for it! The process of pursuing and climbing is also a very precious treasure to us."

With that, Victor took out his wand, took a deep breath, and his entire demeanor started to exude an indescribable aura as he officially began his speech:

"Hello everyone, I'm Victor Dreyar, and I'm very happy to welcome you to Ravenclaw House. Our House crest is an eagle, and our colors are sky blue and bronze, which means soaring high on an unreachable peak."

"We have eyes that can see everything and minds as agile as an eagle, and we are extraordinary."

"We are calm and reserved, but also bold and passionate!"

"People say we are eccentric, but genius and madness are like a person's left and right hands. Mundane conflicts can never sway those who seek wisdom. Ravenclaws often soar through storms to listen to the cries in their hearts as they fight against ignorance. Our wise minds never get lost."

"Here, on behalf of Ravenclaw, I present the wisdom from the ancient times to every seeker of truth!"

With that, Victor pointed his wand at the mural on the ceiling, and a giant blue magical array soared into the sky, activating the permanent Great Magic, Hiraeth.

Under the power of the magic, the bronze tree in the mural began to grow downwards at a visible speed, and it rooted itself in the carpet that was printed with the sun, moon, and stars. Countless ravens perched on the branches that extended from the trunk, giving a feeling of a mirror image or a state of chaos.

As the mural changed, Victor continued, "Ravens, under the guidance of our ancestor, you will stand on the sun, moon, and stars, and climb the endless mountain of wisdom."

"With this! I bless every Ravenclaw to be able to reach that supreme hall of wisdom and become a supreme sage!"

The power of Hiraeth was completely unleashed.

With the help of this permanent Great Magic, all the knowledge from the Ravenclaw legacy that was stored in Victor's mind was now injected into the bronze tree.

In the future, if anyone wanted to acquire this knowledge, they just needed to ask the ravens a question. If they answered correctly, they would get the knowledge they wanted. Of course, the more difficult the knowledge, the more ravens they would have to face. Only by answering all of them correctly would the ravens transform into a book that contained the knowledge.

And Victor had already told the little eagles about these methods in his speech just now. Others might not have understood, but the clever Ravenclaws certainly did.

However, just as the little eagles were excitedly staring at the tall bronze tree in front of them, Ivanna, the prefect, suddenly thought of a question. "Victor, what about our common room?"

"…" The moment this question was asked, all the little eagles immediately realized the problem. That's right! The door to the room they were in was the same door as their common room!

"Oh, that question!" Victor casually took out a piece of chocolate to replenish his energy. With his cheeks puffed out, he said, "You just have to tell the knocker which room you want to enter, and if you answer the question correctly, it will open that door for you. Also, you can read the books on the bookshelves around here, but you can't take them outside!"

"What's the name of this room?" a little eagle asked.

"This used to be Rowena Ravenclaw's office, so let's call it the Bronze Tree Palace!" Victor thought for a moment and settled on a name for the room. He then shouted towards the door, "Knocker, the Bronze Tree Palace, did you hear that?"

The knocker then shook twice.

"It said it heard me!" Victor said with a mischievous smile.

"…" The little eagles were all speechless at once. Was it that casual?! It wasn't about the name, but shouldn't the process have been a bit more grand? At the very least, he should have used his wand to chant a few spells. It felt like it was losing its prestige if it was this simple!

However, Victor didn't pay attention to the little eagles' muttering. After all the commotion from the morning until now, all he wanted was to have a good supper and a good night's sleep. So, after leaving a few instructions, with Penelope escorting him, the little eagles watched Victor leave the Bronze Tree Palace…
