A Fwooper is a large-headed bird with thin legs and extremely colorful feathers, usually orange, pink, lime green, or yellow, but other colors are rare. It is a native African bird. The Fwooper's high-pitched, chattering cry can drive people insane, so every Fwooper must have a Silencing Charm cast on it before it can be sold. Its feathers can be used to make quills, and its eggs are brightly patterned.
To prevent the Fwooper from escaping, Victor, as soon as he saw it, used magic to instantly Apparate onto the fir tree. Before the Fwooper could react, he grabbed it with both hands and cast a Silencing Charm at the same time.
After landing on the ground, Victor saw that the feathers of the Fwooper in his hands were a rare orange-red color. He had been thinking about what to give Hermione for Christmas, and now a gift had appeared right in front of him!
Looking at the struggling Fwooper in his hands, Victor gently stroked its brilliant feathers, then a wicked smile suddenly appeared on his face. He said gently, "Don't worry, little guy, I'm not going to eat you…"
After speaking, his hand that was stroking the feathers began to move… A moment later, Victor happily walked away, and at the same time, a completely bald Fwooper with swirly eyes appeared in the Forbidden Forest.
....
The night sky of Christmas Eve was exceptionally bright, with countless stars hanging in the galaxy. The thin starlight passed through the dense trees, providing a glimmer of light to the dark Forbidden Forest, making everything seem mysterious and unknown.
Walking over the thin layer of snow, various nocturnal animals rustled and scurried through the thick ferns. They were all attracted by the light surrounding Victor.
But Victor didn't pay any attention to the animals around him. Most of them weren't magical creatures, and even if some were mixed in, their bodies didn't contain any valuable materials.
However, as Victor ventured deeper into the Forbidden Forest, the magical creatures he was looking for finally appeared.
Suddenly, Victor saw a ghostly, blue-green glow flying back and forth in the bushes in the distance, faintly visible.
"Hmm?! What is that?" Victor frowned, and a question mark appeared over his head. He didn't remember any magical creature in the book that gave off a blue-green glow!
In the wizarding world, everyone uses Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander to classify magical creatures, and they are divided by the letter X.
First-class (X): Harmless, domesticated, and can't cause any real damage to wizards. For example: Nifflers, Puffskeins, Boggarts, etc.
Second-class (XX): Harmless, but can cause more serious damage to wizards. For example: Bowtruckles, Billywigs, etc.
Third-class (XXX): Extremely aggressive, dangerous, and can cause serious harm or even death to wizards. For example: Trolls, Werewolves, Acromantulas, etc.
Fourth-class (XXXX): Extremely aggressive, possessing special magical abilities, and can cause fatal harm to wizards. For example: Chimaeras, Swooping Evils, Basilisks, etc.
Fifth-class (XXXXX): Highly intelligent, possessing powerful magical abilities, and can pose a fatal threat or cause large-scale disasters to wizards. For example: Dragons, Thunderbirds, Phoenixes, etc.
Victor searched his mind repeatedly but couldn't find any magical creature with the characteristic blue-green glow. So, he decided to go and observe it. But after just a few steps, an alarm suddenly went off in his mind. His combat instincts, honed from years of fighting, made him instinctively dodge.
As Victor leapt to the side, a shadow full of bone-like spikes flew past his nose at an extremely fast speed, followed by a strong scent of blood.
Victor quickly regained his footing and said in shock as he looked in the direction the shadow had disappeared, "What was that?!"
Swoosh!!!
A tearing sound came.
The black shadow from before suddenly shot out of the darkness at the same speed, aiming straight for Victor's face.
Victor instantly tilted his head to dodge, but he didn't expect a small cut to be left on his face.
"Is that a Swooping Evil?" Victor raised an eyebrow and wiped the blood from his face. He had already seen what the black shadow looked like.
A pair of sharp, blue-green wings, shaped like a reptile or a giant butterfly. This was clearly the appearance of a Swooping Evil!
In addition, during the first attack, he smelled a familiar bloody odor that was identical to the scent of the magical beasts he had crushed the heads of in the past: the smell of brain matter.
Doxies love to eat human brain matter, which is why it kept trying to pounce on his face!
However, Victor was also very puzzled, because the Swooping Evil in front of him was completely different from what was described in the book.
A normal Swooping Evil doesn't have a glowing organ like a firefly, and the book didn't mention its speed being as fast as the one in front of him. The speed just now was almost at the speed of sound!
And as Victor was thinking, after failing to get a bite of Victor's brain twice, the Swooping Evil started to come back. Its sharp wings cut through the air, and the Swooping Evil suddenly broke the sound barrier and flew toward Victor at an even faster speed.
Victor heard a huge sonic boom next to his ear, and a green light instantly shone under his feet. A massive, lifelike tree slowly rotated within the magic circle.
"Nature (Green) Magic, Genesis of the World Tree…" Just as the Swooping Evil's sharp teeth were about to bite into Victor's eye socket, hundreds of thick, strong vines grew out of the ground and wrapped around the Swooping Evil, trapping it.
The Swooping Evil was so tightly bound by the vines that only its head was sticking out. It let out a series of piercing shrieks, furiously twisting its body and staring at Victor's head.
"It really is a Swooping Evil!" Victor got closer and examined it carefully, confirming that he hadn't been mistaken. At the same time, he reached out and poked the Swooping Evil's white, bony head. "Little guy, can you tell me why you can glow?"
But the only response he got was a beast-like shriek.
"You have good potential. Be my pet!" After thinking about it, Victor decided to take this special Swooping Evil under his wing.
When he was in Earth Land, he had wanted to find a powerful magical beast that was both handsome and cool to be his pet.
Given its performance just now, Victor felt that this Swooping Evil still had a lot of potential that hadn't been realized, so it fit his criteria perfectly.
So, Victor was about to use a magical contract to take the Swooping Evil as a pet. But the Swooping Evil in front of him didn't seem willing to surrender just yet. Its mouth suddenly started to emit the same blue-green glow as its body, and then a blast of breath shot out…
"Holy crap!" Victor quickly dodged. He looked at the stone behind him that had been hit by the blast and broke out in a cold sweat. The blue-green fluorescent venom was corroding the hard stone into a shapeless mess while giving off thick white smoke.
This thing is highly poisonous, and it has physical attacks too!!!
And that wasn't all!
After using a blast of venom to force Victor back, the Swooping Evil suddenly let out a sharp, mournful shriek. The piercing shriek instantly echoed throughout the Forbidden Forest and traveled to a very far distance.
Many of the ordinary animals and magical creatures in the Forbidden Forest were immediately scared and scattered, their survival instincts telling them to run as far away as possible…
Victor covered his ears and took a few steps back; he wanted to see what else this Swooping Evil could do.
As the shriek ended, the Swooping Evil suddenly started to glow with a dazzling blue-green light. Its sharp bone-like spikes and skin began to secrete venom, and the vines that were trapping it were completely corroded in a short time.
After that, the Swooping Evil's entire body began to expand until it was more than ten times its original size. The Swooping Evil hovered in mid-air, its two wings spread out, measuring at least twenty meters long. Through its sharp teeth, one could faintly see the blue-green light accumulating in its throat. Its bone-like spiked tail hung down to the ground, and the scythe-like tip, dripping with fluorescent venom, was constantly brushing against the fallen leaves under the snow, making a rustling sound.
At this moment, this Swooping Evil was like a dark angel who had fallen to Earth, a perfect combination of darkness and grace.
"What the hell is this Swooping Evil?! Isn't changing the size of a body the ability of an Occamy?" Victor was stunned.
Without waiting for Victor to snap out of his shock, the Swooping Evil, which had finished transforming, let out another shriek. It swung its tail, which was at least ten meters long, and attacked Victor at a high speed.
"Hey, hey, hey! You can't do that, little guy! These trees took hundreds of years to grow this big!" Victor easily dodged the Swooping Evil's tail attack, but the thick fir trees behind him were cleanly cut, with a smooth cross-section.
Seeing that its attack was ineffective, the Swooping Evil let out a long shriek again, and the blue-green light emanating from its mouth became even more dazzling. As the shriek ended, a huge blast of venom shot toward Victor.
"Rho Aias!" Victor raised his right hand, and a pink magic circle flashed by. A huge, seven-layered shield shaped like a flower petal appeared in front of him.
