MHGA Chapter 254 – Kazuma's Filthy Fight!

"Steal! Chain cast!!"

Kazuma was now completely behind Goro Takemura, executing his skill with perfect timing.

When Takemura realized Kazuma's presence, he could only notice the bullet lodged in Kazuma's forehead—embedded in the flesh, but not penetrating. The next moment, his vision went black.

Physically.

From Kazuma's left hand floated two cybernetic eyeballs—Takemura's. They'd been wrenched out through Kazuma's Steal.

In Kazuma's other hand… was another object crucial to Takemura.

"EEYAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"

Kazuma screamed in horror and flung the massive "cannon" out of his hand like it was cursed, holding up his contaminated right hand in panic:

"My hand!! My hand!! My hand is tainted!! AAAAAGGGHHH!!!"

"Why the fuck did you even steal that?!" V yelled, but still took the chance to kick the now-blinded Takemura hard in the neck.

But after countless cyberware augmentations, Takemura didn't go down from a single blow. He staggered, then countered—raising his Mantis Blades to finish V off.

"Quit looting and KNOCK HIM OUT—or kill him already!!" V shouted at the others while grappling Takemura's arm to avoid getting impaled.

Kazuma frantically looked around for anything usable. Then, with a deep breath and grim determination, he picked up the discarded Armstrong Full-Throttle Armstrong Hyper Cannon… and smashed it into the back of Takemura's head.

With the godlike strength of a Hunter behind him, Kazuma's strike was far more effective than V's kick. Takemura, elite bodyguard of Saburo Arasaka, withstood countless trials to earn his position—was knocked out cold…

…by getting smacked with his own stolen Armstrong Rotary Cannon.

Yorinobu Arasaka was stunned.

He genuinely felt a pang of pity for the man who had climbed his way to such a position, only to be defeated like… that.

Frankly, being shot by V would've been more dignified.

"You…"

V had survived, but seeing Kazuma still holding the anti-aircraft cannon, his expression was pure disgust.

"Is this… how you always fight?" V muttered.

"No it's NOT!! Don't slander me!!" Kazuma sobbed. "Why?! Why do things always turn out this way for me?!"

"Start by dropping that thing, then we'll talk," V said, clutching his shoulder wound and turning away.

Kazuma, miserable and full of regret, could only be thankful that this wasn't his own world—otherwise he'd never have the courage to show his face again…

In the end, he opened Takemura's pants and shoved the red spear back inside, then sprinkled some Healing Potion over V's wound—just enough to mend the damage without forcing his cyberware to eject.

"Now… we should be face-to-face with the old man," Yorinobu said, his expression complicated.

He hadn't expected to get this close to ending Saburo Arasaka. Even if he killed his father's physical body, Yorinobu knew Saburo's influence would not vanish so easily.

With such thoughts, the group approached Saburo's room.

"Let's go in," Yorinobu said, opening the door and stepping inside with the other two.

The moment they entered, they saw Saburo Arasaka standing by the floor-to-ceiling window, with Hanako Arasaka standing respectfully at his side.

"Saburo Arasaka! I've come!!" Yorinobu glared at the elder demon before him.

Saburo turned, scanning Yorinobu and the two men at his side.

"So. When exactly did you start conspiring with these people?" Saburo asked coolly. "Still so naive. Do you think standing here means you've achieved anything?"

Saburo's voice was calm as ever:

"Yorinobu… you still fail to understand. Arasaka is not a corporation—it is the continuation of bloodline. A millennium of civilization distilled. Every tower you destroy will rise again from its ruins—just as I have."

"Enough! ENOUGH!"

Yorinobu growled, pulling the pistol he'd taken from Takemura and aiming it at the demon before him.

"You greedy bastard! You care about nothing! You'd even lock human souls in cages! Your insatiable greed rots even death itself!!"

Saburo, even with a gun aimed at him, remained eerily composed—like he was the one in control.

"You think destroying Arasaka will end exploitation?" he said coldly. "Humanity will always need rulers. You and your mother were both weak. Were she still alive, she would weep at your foolishness."

"YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SPEAK OF HER!!!" Yorinobu roared, pulling the trigger.

Bang!

The bullet struck Saburo's left leg. Blood burst from the wound, staining the floor. Hanako stepped forward in alarm—but V immediately blocked her.

"Miss Hanako. Step aside." V's voice trembled slightly. "This isn't your moment."

Saburo did not cry out. Bracing himself on his remaining leg, he stood tall, facing Yorinobu with that same unshaken calm.

But sweat still beaded on his brow—the body's instinctive response couldn't be suppressed.

"I will tear down everything that makes this world inhuman… starting with you, Saburo Arasaka!" Yorinobu declared with iron resolve.

"When will you understand?" Saburo retorted. "Everything you do is delusion. You think mere words can destroy Arasaka? You'll only feed us to the other wolves."

"If you don't do it, someone else will," Saburo said. "That's what this world always does."

"Your crusade is just fantasy! What, do you think you're some hero defying the demon king? There's no such thing in this world!!"
