Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The Supreme Learning System

Tom carefully examined the long-overdue system.

The Supreme Learning System—as the name suggests—was a system built to assist him in his studies, turning him into a super scholar.

Any action related to learning that produced results would earn him Learning Points, which formed the core mechanism of the system.

These points could be used in several ways. The primary functions were:

1) Hiring Private Instructors: The first hour of each day was free. Every hour afterward cost six Learning Points in tuition.

2) Activating a Transcendent State: This boosted learning efficiency, sped up thought processes, and pushed his mental capabilities beyond their natural limit—akin to a "mild epiphany." Each session of the Transcendent State cost 100 Learning Points and lasted ten minutes. The effect could be extended for 10 points per additional minute.

Aside from Learning Points, the system also used another important currency—Achievement Points.

Whether in academics, daily life, or other fields, achieving something notable or completing system-assigned tasks would be rewarded with Achievement Points.

Currently, Tom could see only one use for these: summoning teachers.

The cost varied depending on the teacher's level:

-> B-Rank (Average adult wizard): 1 Achievement Point

-> A-Rank (Exceptional wizard): 10 Points

-> S-Rank (Generation's Finest): 100 Points

-> SS-Rank (Wizard of the Century): 1000 Points

-> SSS-Rank (Immortal Legend): 5000 Points

The differences between ranks were obvious from the sheer cost.

A generation was thirty years, and someone labeled as "Generation's Finest" meant they were one of the top talents of their era.

A century referred to a hundred years, and only the absolute strongest wizard of that century would earn the title Wizard of the Century.

Dumbledore definitely fit that tier.

As for the "Immortal Legends"—those couldn't even be measured by time. Throughout the entire history of the magical world, such beings were incredibly rare.

Returning to the system interface, a glowing gift box appeared at the center—Tom's Beginner Pack.

Upon opening it, he received 100 Learning Points and one free teacher summon, guaranteed to be at least S-Rank.

But... how exactly did this system summon a private tutor?

Curious, Tom accepted all the rewards with a thought.

A dazzling golden light filled his vision, as if his head had been shaken violently—he blinked, and when his senses returned, he found his consciousness transported into a misty, dreamlike world.

It felt so real that he half-believed he'd been physically teleported—but he could still sense his body lying on the bed.

At the same time, the system relayed the information of this new realm to him.

This was the Learning Space. Time here passed at the same speed as the real world, but studying in this space wouldn't drain his real-world energy.

In other words, Tom could study all night here and still wake up feeling refreshed in the morning.

The space could also materialize teaching aids and books he owned—like a virtual reality world, almost indistinguishable from reality.

However, entering the space consumed Learning Points. It was essentially the activation of the Private Instructor Mode, and the gifted 100 points would run out quickly.

Now familiar with the space, Tom looked around for his first tutor.

Suddenly—

"Hahahahahaha!"

A bold, hearty laugh echoed through the thick fog. The mist ahead of Tom cleared significantly, doubling his visible range.

In the distance, a tall silhouette emerged, striding confidently toward him.

The man stepped out of the fog and into view.

He wore a diagonally draped robe, exposing a broad chest and muscular arms. A laurel crown sat atop his head. His features were striking—chiseled and noble, like a statue from classical Greece. Every inch of him radiated raw masculine energy.

The man curiously scanned the foggy space, finally settling his gaze on Tom. His smile grew even wider.

"You must be the young wizard who summoned me?"

"What an astounding talent—to awaken a soul long dormant and bind it with such a strong contract... Kid, your luck is enough to make anyone jealous."

Though his tone hinted at envy, Tom felt no fear.

The system had clearly stated: within this space, no summoned tutor could harm him. Their knowledge would be shared fully and without deception. Treachery was impossible.

And honestly… even without that rule, Tom doubted this man would ever do anything sinister.

His entire aura screamed righteousness—he practically radiated light. Compared to him, even Dumbledore would seem like a scheming rogue.

"Sir, shouldn't you introduce yourself before asking questions?" Tom replied politely.

The system had remained tight-lipped about the identity of this summoned teacher.

"Hahaha!"

The man laughed even more heartily. "Quite right! It's rude of me, as your private tutor."

"My name is Andros. A humble wizard from Greece, with some expertise in wandless magic and the Patronus Charm. I suppose I'll do well enough as your first teacher."

Tom's mind immediately recalled the name—Andros.

Back in Diagon Alley, Dumbledore had given him two Chocolate Frogs to keep his stomach quiet. Each one came with a collectible card of a famous witch or wizard.

One of them was this man—The Invincible Andros!

And no, "Invincible" wasn't some self-given nickname or a clever pun on his surname.

The title had been bestowed by fellow wizards, because Andros had never once lost in his entire life. Just as he claimed, he was unparalleled in wandless casting and Patronus magic—he could even summon a giant-sized Patronus without a wand!

Even today, no one else had ever matched this feat. He was, without question, a Wizard of the Century.

No wonder Tom had felt such a strong first impression.

The Patronus Charm required intense positive emotion and happy memories. It was often used as a benchmark for detecting dark wizards.

Andros radiated so much positivity he was practically blinding.

He was the embodiment of the word "noble".

"Mr. Andros, I'm Tom Riddle," Tom introduced himself with a bright smile.

"From today on, I'll be your student. If I make any mistakes, feel free to correct me. I'll improve."

Even with the system's guarantees in place, Tom was always respectful and humble toward those who helped him.

His attitude clearly pleased Andros.

The man pounded his chest with pride. "Well said! I'll do everything in my power to help you become an outstanding wizard."

Then, ever the professional, he added, "Using a talent like this surely comes at a cost, doesn't it? No time to waste—let's begin!"

Tom certainly wasn't going to refuse. He thought back to the basics taught at Hogwarts.

"Mr. Andros, I haven't started at magic school yet. Let's begin with the basics—like the Wand-Lighting Charm and the Levitation Charm."

Andros blinked, confused. "Levitation Charm? Wand-Lighting? What's that?"

Tom: "???"
