Johan Joestar, the great-great-great-great-grandson of Johnny Joestar, is a proud torchbearer of the Joestar legacy. Unlike previous JoJos, Johan was born with a deep spiritual connection to his family’s past—he could feel the weight of his lineage in his bones. At age 9, he awakened his Stand, World Over-run—a mysterious entity capable of shifting fate by increasing the luck of any target, object or person. A blessing for a child, but only the beginning.

By 14, Johan awakened a second Stand, the overwhelming Dead Star—a sleek humanoid Stand capable of copying the ability of any Stand that hits it, holding the power for exactly 1 hour.


His father, Yojun Joestar, bearer of the peaceful and artistic Stand Red Velvet—which could create flowers and trees from any living matter—was killed by his own Stand. Red Velvet, overwhelmed by an unknown force, evolved independently, gaining sentience and violently rejecting its master. Johan barely survived.

Johan soon learns of an emerging epidemic known as “Unnatural Cause,” where Stand abilities across the world are going rogue, evolving into self-willed entities—killing their users, and sometimes… continuing their wills. Now, with his two Stands—World Over-run and Dead Star—Johan begins his journey from Morioh to Egypt to discover the origin of this Stand epidemic, avenge his father, and confront the cosmic unraveling of the Stand realm itself.

Along the way, Johan faces enemies, allies, twisted Stand fusions, and a conspiracy tied to the Speedwagon Foundation, the Zeppeli remnants, and a resurrected remnant of DIO's will—not in the flesh, but embedded in evolving Stands.
