"Food?!"
Klee's eyes instantly lit up.
Han Feng wasn't surprised in the least.
Sure, little Klee's combat power was terrifying,
But at the end of the day, she was still a child—
And children had no resistance to good food.
"Mhm. And there are dishes that glow—smell great and taste amazing."
Han Feng smiled.
"Brother Han Feng, Klee wants to read Cooking Master Boy!"
"It's on that bookshelf over there. Just head over and you'll find it."
"Okay! Thanks, Brother Han Feng!"
Klee thanked him sweetly before darting over to the shelf.
She quickly found Cooking Master Boy and plopped down on the nearby sofa to read.
"Wow! This fried rice really glows!"
"Mapo tofu? That's a weird name—who's Mapo?"
"If only Klee could eat food like this!"
Klee didn't pay much attention to the plot—
Her focus was entirely on the food.
The dishes in the manga were drawn large and vivid,
Making her practically drool as she turned the pages.
Seeing her so happy, Barbara felt her own mood lift.
Aside from researching bombs and fishing with explosives,
It was rare to see Klee smile like this.
She made a mental note: I'll have to bring Klee here more often.
"Oh right, Boss—what reward did Captain Jean get last time she was here?"
Barbara still remembered her agreement with Lisa—
Find out why her dear sister had been acting strangely.
"Miss Jean's reward? A pair of four-leaf-clover couple pendants."
It hadn't been that long, so Han Feng remembered clearly.
"Couple pendants?!"
Barbara's face was full of disbelief.
No wonder Jean had seemed flustered when she'd asked before.
"But wait, that doesn't add up…"
Barbara frowned slightly.
With her sister's usual personality,
Even if she really had gotten couple pendants,
She would have just laughed it off—
Not cared whether anyone knew.
Why would she suddenly be so nervous?
Could it be… she likes someone, and that's why she got this reward?
A bold idea began to form in Barbara's mind.
But who could it be?
Barbara knew her sister's excellence—and how many people in Mondstadt admired her.
But she also knew none of them were truly suitable.
Most were just greedy for her beauty and her position as Acting Grand Master.
The one Jean liked would surely have to be equally exceptional.
Her gaze shifted, almost on instinct, toward the man sipping tea—Han Feng.
Could it be… Boss Han?
Once the thought took root, it refused to leave.
The more she thought about it, the more plausible it seemed.
Boss Han was handsome, gentle in manner,
Powerful and mysterious—someone Barbara deeply admired herself.
Jean had even resolved the Stormterror crisis thanks to the powerful reward she'd gotten here.
So… having feelings for Han Feng wasn't impossible at all.
"…If that's the case, am I going to have to start calling him Brother-in-law?"
Barbara's expression twisted slightly at the thought.
Han Feng had no idea what was going through Barbara's mind.
At that moment, Bennett finished his manga, and the system message popped up:
[Customer Bennett has finished reading Digimon Adventure and received a reward—Random Skill Card]
[Random Skill Card: When used, it will trigger a random Digimon's skill.]
"Another special card?"
Han Feng was a little surprised.
Earlier, Diluc had gotten a time-limited trial card,
And now there was a random skill card.
Did that mean there might be other types of rewards in the future?
Like role-play cards?
The thought made him a little excited.
Buzz—
A dazzling beam of light descended from above, landing in Bennett's hand.
"My reward's finally here?"
Bennett was practically trembling with anticipation.
He'd been looking forward to this from the moment he started reading.
Now, it was finally happening.
Moments later, the light faded,
Revealing… a blank card.
"Eh? What's this?"
He turned it over in his hands, baffled.
"A random skill card," Han Feng explained.
"Use it, and it'll unleash a random Digimon skill."
"Any Digimon?" Bennett asked, his excitement rising again.
He knew just how many powerful skills existed in the Digimon world.
Like the Giga Destroyer of WarGreymon—
An absolutely devastating attack.
Not to mention the sheer might of Ultimate-level Digimon.
"Exactly. From Fresh level all the way up to Ultimate level. But it's all up to luck."
Han Feng couldn't help feeling a bit sympathetic toward the unlucky kid.
Honestly, the reward wasn't bad.
As long as his luck wasn't too terrible,
He'd at least pull off a decent move—
More than enough for a trump card.
The problem was… this was Bennett.
Who knew what he might end up rolling?
Even Han Feng couldn't begin to guess.
It was pure RNG at this point.
