Chapter 23 - chapter 23 : I Also Possess the Bloodline of a Soul Beast ( Re write)

Ah Wu's tension eased slightly. Knowing Ah Yin was safe eased her mind, though she couldn't ignore the nighttime mischief Ah Yin sometimes caused.

"I see…" Ah Wu thought. Hearing that Ah Yin had reached maturity and traveled to the human world made her heart stir, though she dismissed the idea of her own daughter following in her steps for now.

"But who are you? Why do you possess so many ten-thousand-year soul rings? And why are you here in our territory?" Ah Wu asked, the caution in her voice evident.

"Miss, before questioning someone else's name, one must first introduce themselves. It is basic courtesy for a guest," Yuan Longxuan replied calmly. His presence, though terrifying, was tempered by his composed manners.

Ah Wu took a deep breath, acknowledging her prior rudeness.

"I am Ah Wu—'Wu' as in dancing. I am a ten-thousand-year Soft-Bone Rabbit in transformed form," she said, her tone formal yet natural.

"Ah Wu," Yuan Longxuan mused, "quite fitting." Her resemblance to the future Xiao Wu was uncanny, though more mature and composed. Her light brown hair and grounded aura differentiated her from her playful daughter.

"I am Yuan Longxuan—'Yuan' as in the master, Longxuan as my given name—a human soul master of some strength."

Ah Wu's eyes widened in disbelief. Some strength? She had just witnessed him subdue three ten-thousand-year beasts with barely any effort. This isn't "some strength." This is terrifying.

Yuan Longxuan added with a slight smile, "I also carry the bloodline of soul beasts within me. You could say I am a hybrid of sorts."

Ah Wu's shock deepened, realizing the full gravity of the being in her home.

Soul beast bloodline? A hybrid?" Ah Wu's voice trembled, a mixture of awe and disbelief.

Yuan Longxuan, of course, wasn't lying. Ever since he fused with the Dragon God Martial Soul and its complete bloodline, he could no longer be considered purely human.

His current state mirrored the likes of Tang San from the original story....a half-human, half-soul-beast hybrid. Just as Tang San's children possessed at least three-quarters soul beast blood,

Yuan Longxuan's own fusion allowed him powers far beyond ordinary humans.

He had come to understand why Tang Wutong in Dou Er could merge with the Rui Beast King Qiu'er, and why Tang Wulin in Dou San could harness the Golden Dragon King's energy.

The Dragon God bloodline had fundamentally transformed his previously fragile body.

Now, a casual swing could lift or throw hundreds of thousands of kilograms effortlessly.

With such physical prowess, even the gods of the Divine Realm would struggle to match him in strength.

A single punch approaching two to three hundred tons...just imagine that. (For comparison, Tang Wulin in Dou San's later stages could only muster about 150 tons per punch.)

"Of course," Yuan Longxuan added casually, "belief is a personal matter.

You can choose to believe me or not. No need to argue over it."

As he spoke, a dazzling, nine-colored aura began to swirl around him.

Ah Wu, sensing the sudden shift in energy, immediately felt the hairs on her body stand on end.

Fear flickered in her wide eyes as she instinctively recoiled.

"This… this is my bloodline power," Yuan Longxuan said lightly, letting the aura ripple across the room. "Not the strongest, but quite useful."

He walked over to the window, the light catching on the Dragon God scales briefly manifesting across his aura.

Ah Wu remained frozen, unable to move under the sheer pressure emanating from him.

"You're an interesting girl," Yuan Longxuan teased, his tone light but tinged with dominance. "But don't worry....I have no interest in your soul rings or soul bones.

I came here purely to relax. That stupid tiger of yours? Taking it as a mount was just a side effect."

Ah Wu, still only eighteen or nineteen, had a youthful beauty and delicate skin.

Yuan Longxuan couldn't help but chuckle, playfully pinching her cheek in a teasing manner.

"Today was fun. Next time, I'll bring that silly Ah Yin along as well," he added, brushing his fingers through her hair.

A strange warmth stirred in his chest, much like what he felt around Tang Yuehua...a feeling that required time and patience to nurture.

Indeed, his sudden visit had disrupted their lives. It was natural for them to be wary. There's truth in the saying: the first encounter is awkward, the second more familiar, and by the third....or fourth, fifth, or sixth.....things eventually settle.

Yuan Longxuan was confident he could win their trust in time.

He wasn't a ruthless villain, after all. Just a rogue with some basic decency and personal standards.

Turning to leave, he paused at the door, glancing back at Ah Wu.

"Rabbit," he said with a grin. "You like carrots, don't you?"

With a flick of his hand, a mountain of century-old, premium-grade carrots appeared beside him, forming a miniature hill almost as tall as a person.

Ah Wu, still sitting on the bed, didn't see it. Outside, Xiao Wu and the Titan Giant Ape froze in amazement.

"A… a mountain of carrots?" Xiao Wu gasped. "It smells amazing!"

Titan Giant Ape frowned. "Why carrots? Why not bananas?"

Sky-Blue Bull Python muttered, "I still prefer meat."

By the time their eyes had shifted away from the carrot mountain, Yuan Longxuan had already disappeared, leaving only the heap of orange treasures behind. Even the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger....dozing lazily nearby....was promptly scooped up by Yuan Longxuan, who held the creature by its scruff like a small dog.

Ah Wu, after a moment of recovery, stepped outside and froze. She could hardly believe the sight before her.

"Mom, what did you say to that kid? These are hundred-year-grade carrots, almost sentient with intelligence!" Xiao Wu muttered, her tiny paws trembling at the sheer value of the carrots. They had been extinct in Star Dou Forest for generations.

"Ah, be gentle, Mom!" Xiao Wu whimpered, eyes wide in greed. Ah Wu scowled at her daughter, equal parts exasperated and amused.

"Daming, Erming, you two make sure today's events are fully explained to her, or you'll go hungry for the next few days," Ah Wu commanded.

"Yes, Mother Wu," they replied obediently.

Meanwhile, Yuan Longxuan had arrived near the human town, glancing down at the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger with a mixture of disdain and amusement.

"You think you can stay that size? It's hard to carry you like this."

The tiger instantly understood. Within moments, it shrank into a small black dog, its back adorned with faint golden wing marks....a surprisingly fitting transformation.

"Good dog," Yuan Longxuan said casually.

"Woof!" The tiger-now-dog seemed resigned but cooperative.

Once home, around two or three in the afternoon, Ah Yin was just waking up. Seeing the small black dog in Yuan Longxuan's hands, she instinctively reached out to pet it.

"Yueyue," she teased, "how about this restraint method?"

"Not bad, but it can be improved," Yuan Longxuan replied, clearly amused.

He never expected to find himself teaching his wife techniques for restraining a dog.....especially one that had once been a terrifying Dark Demon Evil God Tiger.
