after a month, ethan decided to start a super hero team consisting of him, minami, herobot and john, but he wanted an additional member, so he did an audition and after some candidates, some with powers, some useful, the team settled with a girl with ice powers called lily, and then they decided to name the team "THE ELYSIUM SLAYERS", and they decided to get a base so they used an abandoned building in a city to make their base, and instead of making it in the building they made it underground and the only entrance being the building and they named the base "The Slayer's Sanctum".
multiple hero teams began to form, some trying to mimic popular franchises like "the avengers" or "the justice league", others mimicking ethan's team, and others making original names, but the most popular team was "THE ELYSIUM SLAYERS" since they were the first and the most powerful team.
everything was going alright. until another invasion happened, this time it was from another kind of aliens, they had very advanced tech and it looked like they were a type 2 civilization, then a voice on the ship talked and became heard by everyone, the ship blocked the sun, making it visible
???-"we have come for a super weapon that a previous 'alien' civilization has hid here, and we are here to collect it, we will not harm you unless you give us the weapon, it is too complicated for your primal brains, we will start destroying and killing so that you feeble fools give it to us quickly"
as soon as the Elysium slayers heard this, they headed towards the ship and saw mini ships flying down to the ground, and large robots unboarding and killing people so they huddled and formulated a plan, which was for everyone to fight the robots and save people while ethan heads towards the mother ship and destroys it using his second form, and when they executed the plan, everything was going fine, until ethan went into the ship by creating electromagnetic waves that are identical to the mini ships and so they let him in, and ethan kept sneaking left and right, teleporting and taking down guards, until he reached the cockpit where he was about to kill the captain when he over heard him and a pilot talking.
the captain-"we have to find that weapon, i mean the Chrono Wave Cannon is rumored to be a weapon that fires a pulse which controls the flow of time within a specific zone. this weapon will help us conquer our foes and kill them"
the pilot-"but sir, how will it help us? it only controls time, not space, we can freeze them but that wont kill them"
the captain-"if they are frozen, they cant move or attack! think about it"
ethan was listening in and he was getting more and more interested by the second so he turned to pure electricity and went into the controls, learning more about them and the weapon in the process, when he was done he went out of the control panel that was the closest to the captain, and he launched himself at the captain, attacking them, but then the captain grabbed him by the neck, and ethan teleported out of it and tried to kick the captain's leg to make them fall down, but the captain caught ethan's leg and and threw him away
the captain-"so stupid, so naive, you can only save your species by finding the super weapon, so stop this attack, tell your species not to attack"
ethan got up, and the captain caught ethan by the head and threw him out the ship towards the earth, and when he reached the earth, he held back the pain and got up and ran towards the team while limping, while he was running he saw different teams and heroes fighting, even criminals that got powers where fighting and that filled him with determination, and so he ran faster and faster, ignoring his initial pain and when he got to his team, he almost collapsed and the whole team ran to his side.
lily-"hey ethan, are you ok?"
ethan- grunt"i'm ok, just hurt abit"
minami-"clearly NOT! you need some rest"
ethan-"now is not the time, the aliens are after a super weapon and are gonna destroy earth even if we give them what they want, the weapon is called the Chrono Wave Cannon, it controls time"
john-"yeah, that sounds dangerous"
ethan-"duh, ugh shi- my shoulder"
minami-"just sit you idiot!"
ethan-"fine! fine!"
ethan sat on a bunch of rubble to rest, and he kept spewing details on how to track the weapon, then herobot offered help on finding it.
herobot-"I can help with that, i can read emw and emps and changes in weather, and even in time"
ethan-"good that might help, especially changes in time, since this weapon changes time"
