As Jin and Sylph climb the mountains, an unnerving silence falls on the area.
Suddenly, a piercing cold wind strikes, too precise to be natural.
A dragon-shaped cloud forms overhead. Suddenly, the cloud slams towards the mountain, making a blizzard consume the area.
Jin can't see past a few inches in front of him.
Sylph is grasping onto Jin's back, holding on with all her strength.
Jin screams out, barely able to even hear himself in the storm.
"Sylph! This storm doesn't seem to want to end any time soon!"
Sylph yells back, but Jin can't hear her. The storm is drowning out all sound.
"Jin," comes a whisper in Jin's ear.
Jin swats his hand over his ears. He makes contact with nothing.
"Come on, Jin," comes another whisper.
Jin spins around, breaking the contact between him and Sylph. Jin watches Sylph's shadowy figure drift into the background of the storm.
"SYLPH! Wait, don't move!"
Jin attempts to step forward, tripping over the snow and slamming into the ground.
What feels like a thousand hands grabs all of Jin, clawing at him and his soul.
Jin screams in pain. His entire body was being clawed at by thousands of hands.
MAKE IT STOP! PLEASE MAKE THIS END!
"We will not let you forget what you've done, Kuroryu Jin!" comes what sounds like millions of people whispering to Jin all at once.
"NO! NO! NO! I won't fall to my past! I won't let the people I killed take me!"
Jin slowly stands up; every snowflake touching him feels like a thousand attacks.
"I won't let a bunch of ghosts tear me down!"
Jin takes a step forward. Blood, the color blue, falls onto the ground.
That's not my blood! I've seen my blood.
A sudden flash of Green light crosses the air.
Jin takes another step towards the flash, more blue blood splattering everywhere.
Jin takes another step. Suddenly, he's knocked over by something running into him.
Jin looks down, his vision being restricted slowly, and sees Sylph grasping onto him, yelling something he can't hear.
"Sylph, I found you again."
Jin wraps his arms around Sylph, sheltering her from the oncoming storm.
In an instant, the storm ceases. Jin gets up sea of snow covering the area.
Jin offers a hand to Sylph, helping her stand up.
"That was quite the sporadic storm, wouldn't you say, Jin?"
"Something like that."
Jin climbs up onto a small boulder, the entire area being a plane of nothing but white.
"Hey, Jin, do you think maybe that was some kind of warning?"
"No, I think it was just a random storm."
Jin looks at her, the lie he told leaving a distaste in his mouth.
