Chapter 108 - Chapter 108

Smoke curled through the air as two middle-aged men scowled hard enough to knit their eyebrows together. They'd clearly raised their daughters to be proper young ladies, so why had their sweet little girls ended up like this? Using baseball bats to beat people wasn't bad enough—their whole demeanor had turned into that of street punks. At this rate, their beloved daughters would soon become walking Explosive Tags—a total nightmare!

The Third Hokage watched Naruto and Sasuke throw themselves gleefully into the fight, his worries even heavier than those of the two middle-aged men. One was the grandson of his own apprentice, while the other was the younger brother of Itachi Uchiha. He had sworn to protect them, yet now look at things—The Fourth would probably burst out of his grave in rage if he ever found out.

Sigh...

The three men exchanged glances before all letting out heavy sighs in unison—so much unbearable anxiety!

Surrounded by her friends, a curled-up and cowering Mizuki drew a quiet shake of Sakura's head; this guy must really be unable to take any more beating.

"Anyway, forget him. Let's get Teacher Iruka to the hospital. We can leave this one to Anbu for imprisonment!"

Sakura passed the baseball bat back to Tenten and said thoughtfully, "I think you should engrave some patterns or symbols on the surface of these bats. Ideally, they should leave clear imprints when used—like slap marks from a palm strike. You could try that!"

"That's true," Hinata chimed in seriously—she actually found the bat pretty comfortable to swing around. "We could carve the Konoha emblem into them. And better yet, carve several so no matter where you hit someone, it'll always leave the mark of Konoha. That way, everyone will know we're from Konoha—our reputation will spread much faster!"

"And we could specially make ones with each of our family crests too!" Ino joined the discussion enthusiastically.

"I'll start working on modifications once I get back!" Tenten carefully noted down every idea, ready to begin adjusting the design.

"What a shame!" Shikamaru quietly sighed, shedding a tear for future enemies—this wasn't just physical pain they'd suffer anymore, but emotional embarrassment from having Konoha's mark stamped all over their faces.

As Iruka listened, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of pity for Mizuki. Who in their right mind would cross a gang like this? He practically signed his own death wish!

After finalizing their plans, none of them paid attention to Mizuki still lying on the ground playing dead. Instead, they gathered excitedly around Iruka, preparing to drag him to the hospital for a checkup.

"Heheheh! You brats really are dumb as bricks—don't you understand the principle of pulling out weeds by the root?!"

Suddenly, Mizuki staggered back to his feet, letting out chilling laughter. After speaking, he tilted his head back and gulped down the liquid inside the bottle in his hand.

"It seems there's an unexpected bonus here!" Sakura narrowed her eyes watching Mizuki's movements. Could it be that what he drank was something capable of instantly boosting power?!

"Hehehehaha!" Mizuki let out a series of strange laughter, trembling all over, while odd patterns surfaced on his face.

"His chakra has changed—it now carries a more feral and wild feel!" Hinata said after observing with her Byakugan. "However, although this chakra rapidly boosts his strength, it's also causing him considerable damage."

"His chakra reserves have increased slightly too, though not by much. What's more, this chakra feels chaotic, like it was forcibly infused from an external source!" Neji withdrew his Byakugan, shook his head, and the seriousness on his face vanished. "I thought there was something impressive here. Turns out it's merely a technique that temporarily exchanges one's own life force for power—completely unworthy!"

"Feral and chaotic chakra, huh? That must mean it's the Cursed Seal." Sakura murmured softly. "Never expected there to exist an oral version of the Cursed Seal potion!"

"Hahaha! You punks, this time you'll obediently accept your fate like good little kids!" Mizuki's facial expression twisted grotesquely. "I've obtained a power beyond anything! With just the likes of you around, there's no way you can defeat me. Soon, I will finally clear my shame!"

"Who even gave him this confidence? He's not even close to Jonin-level strength!" Sakura and others wore expressions filled with confusion. The aura emitted from Mizuki wasn't even as strong as the Anbu behind them—who gave him such confidence thinking himself invincible?!

"Just kneel before my power!" Mizuki laughed maniacally, as if he truly believed himself the strongest in the world.

Chapter 98: Tigger Mizuki [Lower Part] [Fifth Update]

"Tsk tsk tsk… looks like someone still hasn't learned their lesson yet!" Sakura clenched her fists until they cracked. "If so, we'll just leave him barely alive this time—so long as he doesn't die instantly afterward!"

"Grrraaaah!"

Mizuki let out a savage growl, his facial expression becoming hideous; muscles across his body started bulging outward bit by bit, while his exterior gradually transformed.

"This is... entering the second state of the cursed seal?" Sakura narrowed her eyes and watched for a moment before smirking lightly. While Mizuki's form could technically be called Cursed Seal Stage Two, compared to Sasuke's or Kimimaro's, it was clearly inferior. Mizuki's curse mark was barely a prototype—more like a rejected failed experiment.

After Mizuki stopped roaring, his entire form had completely shifted into another image entirely—yellow fur, black stripes, and a king-character marking upon his forehead. From afar, he looked exactly like a tiger standing upright.

For some unknown reason, seeing Mizuki in this condition suddenly made the words "Tigger" pop into Sakura's mind.

"Pfft!"

Sakura couldn't help it—she burst out laughing immediately. Mizuki's current look really did resemble a certain main character from an animation she'd seen during a previous life. Instantly, Winnie the Pooh's Tigger kept flashing through Sakura's mind, refusing to go away.

"What are you laughing at? Are you mocking me?" Filled with rage, Mizuki couldn't stand Sakura's laughter any longer. He already possessed such an imposing appearance—so why was there still someone who looked down on him?
