"This won't be a problem at all!" Hinata answered without hesitation. "I'll ask my father to help keep an eye on things. If anyone tries to target this place, he'll handle it!"
"Then starting today, the Celestial Society is officially established. We twelve will be the founding members of this group. Our goal will be to reach for the stars."
Sakura raised her hand playfully toward the sky, saying with a laugh. It was just a joke from Sakura, but no one could have known then that those words would one day become true. Back then, they didn't just become the strongest in the shinobi world—they ended up running the world's economy too.
Laughter echoed from the courtyard of Sasuke's house. The gloom that had hung over the Uchiha district for so long finally began to lift.
The next day, surprisingly, this group—known for skipping class frequently—actually showed up at the Ninja Academy. Teacher Iruka's first thought was whether these kids had pulled off some kind of prank again and were hiding at school. However, looking up, he saw nothing unusual happening around Hokage Rock, so he felt slightly relieved.
In class, seeing these few sitting upright like well-behaved students brought tears to Teacher Iruka's eyes. His hard work hadn't gone to waste after all—these troublemakers had actually started paying attention in class! Who'd have thought?
"I've got a question for everyone: if one day the apocalypse came, who would you want to spend your last moments with?"
After finishing his lecture, Teacher Iruka noticed there were still a few minutes left, so he casually asked this small question.
"There won't be any apocalypse! Because I, Naruto Uzumaki, will save this world!"
Naruto Uzumaki crossed his arms and raised his head high, radiating confidence.
"Naruto, don't disrupt the class!" A vein popped out on Teacher Iruka's forehead as he gave Naruto a little rap on the head. "Everyone can write down their thoughts on paper!"
"Teacher Iruka-sensei, can you explain what kind of apocalypse you mean?!" Naruto rubbed his forehead and complained unhappily. "Also, Teacher Iruka-sensei, could you please stop tapping my forehead next time? I might end up losing some brain cells or something!"
"You're not smart to begin with—you still can't even master the simplest [Clone Jutsu]!" Though Teacher Iruka's words carried mockery, concern filled his heart. "If you keep skipping class every day, you'll probably struggle to graduate in the future!"
"Teacher Iruka-sensei, I—" Naruto wanted desperately to loudly proclaim to both Teacher Iruka and the entire class that he wasn't stupid and that he could indeed use the [Clone Jutsu]. But thinking back to Sakura's reminder, he could only reluctantly close his mouth.
"Well, work harder from now on. You'll surely master it someday!" Teacher Iruka comforted Naruto before adding, "As for your earlier question about the apocalypse, let's say something like the moon suddenly falling down or similar scenarios."
"The moon can't possibly fall down, Teacher Iruka-sensei, you're just making things up!" Naruto burst into laughter while clutching his stomach.
"Actually, maybe Teacher Iruka's real job is being a psychic?"
Sakura stared at Iruka in disbelief. What could she even say? His words were practically toxic. If she remembered correctly, after the Fourth Great Ninja War, when Kakashi became the Sixth Hokage, the moon nearly fell from the sky. If it hadn't been for Naruto risking his life, the entire planet would've been destroyed.
Unaware that Sakura had already mentally labeled him as a rambling fool, Iruka continued chattering away to Naruto. Thinking for a moment, Sakura picked up her pen and jotted down a long list of names. She hadn't even realized it, but her connections had really grown over time.
Chapter 81: A Surprise Behind the Door – Face-to-Face with the Tailed Beast Ball [Part 1] [Fourth Update]
Time truly flies. Since experiencing the devastation of the Uchiha massacre, Sasuke's personality had become much quieter. He showed small smiles only when facing Sakura and others; otherwise, he remained expressionless most of the time. His pursuit of power also intensified—he trained almost daily until he collapsed from exhaustion.
The organization named "Celestial Society" by Sakura had officially been established. After briefly discussing with the Third Hokage, they renovated the Uchiha district, redesigning it with clearly defined commercial and residential areas. The commercial zone was now fully leased out to eager merchants, while the residential section remained blocked off to outsiders.
Sakura explained it this way: the commercial area housed shops rented out to merchants selling goods, while the residential zone was preserved as a tourist attraction, maintaining the original style of the Uchiha clan. Visitors could now get a firsthand look at how the Uchiha used to live. With these two areas complementing each other, business boomed. Many were extremely curious about where the Uchiha clan once lived—it had previously been forbidden territory no outsider could enter. Now that the opportunity arose, most people wanted to take a look, especially all those young fangirls who were enthusiastic about visiting their idols' former homes.
Even Sakura and the others were shocked by how well the business street turned out. Initially, everyone had just thought about earning a bit of extra spending money, yet the business had expanded far beyond expectations. Especially the shops they decided to keep for themselves started raking in the cash daily.
Over these past two years, not only had Sasuke avoided depleting much of the Uchiha inheritance, but he'd actually earned quite a fortune. Even the Third thought it was borderline absurd.
When the plan for renovating the Uchiha district was first proposed, a group led by Danzo had strongly opposed it. They had long coveted the land occupied by the Uchiha clan—the vast area was simply too valuable to let go.
However, once these elders raised objections, they were immediately silenced by Hiashi Hyuga and others. Their own children owned shares in this business; though they didn't necessarily care how much profit their kids made, at least the children enjoyed doing it, so they absolutely wouldn't let others ruin it.
The Hyuga clan, Nara clan, Yamanaka clan, Akimichi clan, Inuzuka clan, Aburame clan, the Tenchi Weapons Store, plus Jonin Kakashi and Might Guy—if all those forces were already on board, the Elder Council wouldn't have been able to do anything but swallow their pride, no matter how much they objected.
