Outwardly, Fugaku Uchiha faced his eldest son's sharp, accusing stare and Shisui Uchiha's sidelong glances filled with disdain toward what he assumed was a scumbag. Fugaku's face darkened. When had he *ever* had an affair? And during Mikoto's labor, hadn't he stood right outside the delivery room the whole time without budging an inch?
"Heh heh! This is just an illusion—an illusion I specially made up for Auntie Mikoto to keep her mind stimulated. So don't take it too seriously!"
Sakura stepped in to explain on behalf of Fugaku Uchiha. Once Fugaku's expression eased a bit, she softly added, almost under her breath, "Though of course, art generally originates from real life!"

Fugaku looked like a furious iron-faced judge from ancient tales—his face darker than a storm cloud. How was he supposed to convince his own sons he really hadn't done all those scumbag things?

Finally having given birth successfully, Mikoto Uchiha felt everything go black before she fainted. When she slowly regained consciousness, she sensed two people moving around beside her.
"Must've just been my imagination again. Fugaku and Itachi would totally be excited about the baby, right?"
Thinking thus, Mikoto opened her eyes. Yet the faces that greeted her were not the expected Fugaku Uchiha or Itachi Uchiha—but rather two young nurses tidying things up nearby, their backs turned to her.
"Aww, poor thing—the clan chief's wife from the Uchiha clan. She actually ended up stuck with such a scumbag," whispered the nurse on the left. "She's been unconscious for two whole days and still hasn't seen the head of the Uchiha household show any concern. Left all alone here like this!"
"Not only is he not coming to check on his own wife, he doesn't seem to care one bit about his newly born little son either—it's like the kid isn't even his!" the nurse on the right muttered quietly. "Within these past two days, the only person from the entire Uchiha clan who came to see her has been her eldest son. And it's also him who's taking care of the newborn baby! To think the matriarch of the prestigious Uchiha family could fall into such dire straits—such are the twists and turns of fate!"
"Well, in aristocratic families like this, these things are just normal," the nurse on the left said mockingly. "Compared to a pregnant woman, the Uchiha clan head probably prefers cute young girls instead."
"You're right!" nodded the other nurse enthusiastically, wearing an expression full of gossipful curiosity.
