Bullet's punch was a gamble with his life. If the explosives inside detonated, all of Marineford would be obliterated.
"Good!?"
Even Akainu, always stone-faced, couldn't stay calm.
"Let Aokiji handle it!!" Sengoku roared, ordering Good to stand down.
Aokiji moved, preparing to freeze the incoming armament, but Good bellowed, "No need!!"
His right fist clenched, veins bulging, black lightning crackling across it. Every power he had copied—magma, quake, float—fused together.
Armament coated his hand, Conqueror's Haki surged and wrapped around it.
The energy storm tore the battlefield apart. The ice beneath his feet shattered into powder as seawater churned and waves rose, but Good stood firm, unmoving.
Bullet's massive strike descended. All eyes widened.
Whitebeard, Shanks, Rayleigh, Garp, Sengoku, the Admirals—every powerhouse stared without blinking.
"Good…"
Tears welled in Momousagi's eyes. She didn't know why she was crying. As a Marine, she had always faced danger, but never felt this way before.
Aokiji froze, hesitating. It was already too late. Reluctantly, he raised a wall of ice hundreds of meters tall, hoping to absorb the explosion.
Hearts pounded.
The fists collided.
In an instant, black lightning surged skyward, the clash sending out torrents of destructive energy.
The thick ice wall cracked with a deafening "crrrrack," fractures racing across its surface. Aokiji frantically patched it with more ice.
Inside the giant, Bullet cackled. "Reckless Maniac! Dare you strike me down? If I fall, every ounce of powder I fused will detonate—everyone dies!"
To him, no sane man would risk igniting so much firepower.
But Good wasn't sane. He had sacrificed his intelligence long ago.
"Too bad, Bullet! My creed is simple—if I don't like it, I'll fight!!"
Roaring, Good ignored everything else. Explosion? Then he'd scatter it with sheer force.
His power erupted at full force.
Bullet's smug grin froze.
Was this lunatic truly willing to blow everyone up?
Even Bullet felt genuine fear. Compared to him, Good was the real madman.
The clash of their dual Haki reached its peak. Good's strength overwhelmed Bullet's giant fist, tearing it apart. Magma, quake, flames—all of Good's powers cascaded outward.
The explosives inside ignited under the strain. The void twisted, the earth quaked, the world turned dark.
It was destruction itself.
Observation Haki screamed warnings into the minds of every fighter: Danger! Danger! Death!!
There was nowhere to run. The entire island would be consumed.
Everyone braced for annihilation.
And then—Good roared.
A second surge erupted, scattering the explosion's might.
A torrent of energy blasted skyward, tearing through the clouds, painting the heavens red with flame. The ground trembled violently, ice walls shattered into fragments.
And through the storm, Good's figure stood.
His fist pointed at the heavens, his arm shredded to the bone from the backlash—yet already knitting back together, torn, then healed, again and again.
The explosion was gone. Scattered.
Bullet stood frozen, stunned into silence. His ultimate strike had been erased.
The battlefield fell silent. No one could comprehend it.
Then the cheers erupted.
"Reckless Maniac Admiral!!"
"He scattered tons of explosives with a single punch!!"
"He punched a hole in the sky!!"
Marines howled, blood boiling, their reverence for Good reaching new heights.
He had saved them all. Without him, the blast would have obliterated every ordinary soldier present.
That punch shook the entire world.
Even as Good panted heavily, in the eyes of all, he stood tall and unbreakable.
Again and again, he shattered their understanding of what a man could do.
Whitebeard muttered under his breath, "From now on… it isn't Roger I respect. It's this Marine before me…"
But his eyes remained sharp. He knew—Good's might now threatened to overshadow everything.
Their goal was clear: rescue Ace and Luffy.
