In Good's mind, the system's voice rang out once more, announcing attribute increases—then came the decisive notice:
"Conqueror's Haki progress: 100%. Side-leak level achieved."
It meant that Good's Conqueror's Haki had reached the very peak, the same realm as Shanks, capable of inflicting physical damage.
With that terrifying Haki combined with his Devil Fruit powers, even under the combined assault of three legends, Good had managed to blast Whitebeard away.
The battlefield erupted in shock.
Across the world, in every live broadcast, spectators gasped.
"The strongest man alive—Whitebeard—was sent flying!"
"And it wasn't just one opponent, but while he was being attacked by two Emperors and that old man!"
Some who had lived through the old era stomped their feet angrily. "What do you mean 'that old man'? That's the Dark King, Rayleigh! Roger's right hand—his strength is on par with Whitebeard!"
"Then doesn't that mean the Reckless Admiral is holding off three monsters at once?"
"And he's even gaining the upper hand!?"
"This is insane! The Navy really had an eye for talent, promoting such a powerhouse to admiral!"
"With him around, will pirates still dare to run rampant?"
"Maybe this age of terror is finally coming to an end…"
The world cheered. Since Roger's death, the Great Pirate Era had plunged countless lives into suffering. But now, with a single strike, Good had given them hope—a light tearing through the darkness.
...
Totto Land, Cake Island.
Big Mom's face twisted in disbelief. Her lips trembled before she forced out words:
"Even Rocks, back in his day, couldn't do this."
Her children swallowed hard.
"Whitebeard's really… old. He can't keep up anymore."
Big Mom forced a grin. "That's right! If it were me, this would never have happened."
No one answered. Deep down, they knew Good's power had surpassed imagination.
...
Inside the broadcast, Whitebeard rose from the rubble. His towering body was hunched, blood dripping from his lips. Yet he straightened his back, wiped his mouth, and stood tall again.
Without words, his eyes alone spoke volumes as he glared at Good.
Rayleigh and Shanks moved to stand beside him.
Shanks roared: "Quick! Think of a way to rescue them first!"
But the truth gnawed at all three: against Good, they were being forced back.
Such a thought, surfacing in battle, was fatal. It meant their momentum was already being crushed.
Elsewhere, the commanders tried to move, but were blocked by Akainu, Aokiji, Kizaru, and the reserve admirals—Momousagi and Chaton.
Akainu growled, watching Momousagi throw herself into battle with reckless abandon. "Does she want to die? Fighting like that?"
Momousagi, bloodied but grinning, answered proudly: "Of course! Every day, I've been forged under Admiral Good's training!"
Akainu twitched, unable to respond.
...
Above, Marco shouted, "Beckman! Yasopp! Cover me!"
He transformed into a blazing phoenix, bullets bouncing off harmlessly as he soared toward the execution platform.
Kizaru raised a hand. "Yooo… trying to save him? Yata no—"
But Ben Beckman's rifle thundered, forcing Kizaru to halt. As the man known as the strongest first mate, even an admiral had to take him seriously.
Marco streaked toward the scaffold. "Ace!! I'm coming!!"
Sengoku's eyes narrowed, preparing to strike—when another figure leapt skyward.
Marco's wings froze mid-beat. "Hero Garp!?"
Without a word, Garp's fist smashed him from the sky, sending him crashing back down.
On the platform, Luffy shouted, "Gramps! That's Ace's comrade! He's here to save us—why'd you hit him!?"
Garp stayed silent.
Behind Sengoku, a monkey from the Red Hair Pirates scrambled upward. Though it looked harmless, it possessed strength rivaling a vice admiral.
But before it could strike, Sengoku's voice rumbled: "You think I'd be fooled so easily? Sending a monkey to deal with me?"
His arm gleamed with golden light.
"Golden Buddha Shock!"
The wave of power forced the monkey to leap away in a somersault. Against the Fleet Admiral, it had no chance.
Two rescue attempts, both crushed. The pirates' faces darkened, while the Navy's morale surged higher.
In the crowd, Boa Hancock muttered, "Unbelievable. The Navy is actually gaining the advantage."
At first, when Rayleigh and Shanks had appeared, she thought the battle was lost. Yet now the fight was even.
"All thanks to Admiral Good…" she whispered, eyes lingering on him as he pressed down three living legends.
"Strange… the more I look at him, the more charming he seems. Among all these men, he's the only one who's never even glanced at me…"
Elsewhere, Mihawk's black blade remained sheathed. He tangled idly with Whitebeard's division commanders, but his eyes stayed on Good.
There was no need for him to act. Against Whitebeard, Shanks, and Rayleigh… Good alone was enough.
But just as the Marines felt victory was within reach, the earth beneath the plaza began to ripple like waves.
Navy soldiers were flung from their feet.
Something was rising.
