Above, the battlefield raged in chaos. Below, hidden in the shadows, the Revolutionary Army quietly waited.
Sabo, along with four commanders and other cadres, remained calm.
Belo Betty asked curiously, "Where's the Commander?"
The others shook their heads. They didn't know either.
Crow looked at Sabo. "Sabo, you're the Chief of Staff. You should know."
Sabo gave a wry smile. "The Commander moves like a ghost. He only told us: watch for the signal. Once it appears, we strike, rescue Ace and Luffy, and withdraw."
For now, they waited, letting Whitebeard's and Red Hair's crews clash with the Marines first.
If Admiral Good were defeated—or even just exhausted after the brutal battle—the Revolutionary Army would then seize the chance.
Their goal was simple: save Ace and Luffy with the smallest cost possible.
"Morley," Sabo said, glancing at the short man in a JK skirt.
Morley quickly covered the hem of the skirt, looking sheepish.
"Are the tunnels stable?"
Morley nodded. "No problem. We're right beneath the plaza, while other comrades' tunnels are farther back. Once chaos peaks, we'll strike from below and catch the Marines off guard."
Sabo nodded, and silence returned as they waited.

Meanwhile, far from Marineford, Blackbeard had already reached Impel Down.
While the Marines clashed with Whitebeard and Red Hair, Blackbeard moved swiftly, breaking in without hesitation.
The alarms in the prison howled.
But the Blackbeard Pirates pressed on without fear. Their destination was clear—the sixth level.
For Blackbeard, Impel Down's lowest level was the greatest "talent market" in the world. Only the strongest and most dangerous monsters were sealed there, and with them, he could realize his ambition.
They broke through the first and second levels with ease.
On the second floor, however, Magellan blocked their path.
"Blackbeard! You dare storm Impel Down!? As a Shichibukai, you betray the World Government—do you mean to oppose us!?"
Blackbeard grinned darkly. "Zehahaha…!"
Magellan's face twisted. He understood now—Blackbeard had never intended to serve the Government. His Shichibukai title was nothing more than a stepping stone to this very moment.
"Then prepare yourself! I'll bury you in Level Six myself!"
His fists dripped with lethal venom, poison surging like waves.
But when he struck, his poison disappeared at Blackbeard's touch.
Magellan froze. "W-what…!?"
Blackbeard's hand pulled him in with the force of the Yami Yami no Mi (Dark-Dark Fruit).
"Your poison won't work on me, jailer. My darkness swallows all abilities. That's the price of relying too much on Devil Fruits—Zehahaha!"
Magellan's eyes widened as his punch landed like an ordinary blow, stripped of venom.
Blackbeard countered with a brutal punch to the gut, dropping the warden to the ground.
Struggling, Magellan gasped out, "Enjoy your little victory… but the Marines have Admiral Good now. When he drags you here in chains, I'll be laughing!"
Blackbeard sneered.
"Good, huh? Right now he's fighting two Emperors and the Dark King. The Revolutionaries are moving too. With that much chaos, he might not live to see tomorrow."
Laughing maniacally, Blackbeard strode toward the sixth floor.

In Level 5.5, the "Okama Paradise," Emporio Ivankov was already watching through surveillance.
Her eyes widened. "So the Blackbeard Pirates finally make their move!? Hmph, and they didn't even warn me—outrageous!"
Down below, the prison trembled. The doors of hell were about to be opened.
